Having bought the last Expansion pack, I knew that 'House Party' was going to be great. There are over 100 new objects and loads of new options to use throughout the game. The mechanical bull sets off a party great in my neighbourhood and having special guests coming round to your own house is excellent. This game is a must have for any sim owner. This'll keep you entertained for weeks!

"House Party" is a must for any owner of The Sims! This expansion pack comes with more skins, items, and much more! They did an excellent job putting in lots of new items for party usage.

My aunt gave me The Sims last year and I thought it was a really cool game! Then, I got Livin' Large for Christmas and it rocked too! For my birthday I got a $30 gift certificate to Office Max and I knew what I wanted! The next day I went out and bought it and it was the best expansion pack yet!!! I haven't tried Hot Date but I'm gonna buy it soon!!! I would HIGHLY recommend this game!!!!!!

BEWARE::::There are a lot of system requirements before running The Sims series.
RECOMMENDATION:

Before you install it:
Run ScanDisk
Also, run the DeFrag!
It really helps!

I got the sims for christmas and also the House party expansion. The Sims has got to be one of the best games I have ever played. And trust me, I am a very avid gamer. The only letdown is that sometimes it's hard to meet people. With the new "more than one neighborhood" system, you can create over 30 families. But they don't really meet each other. So you really only have about 10 people per party usually. But that doesn't matter because of all the other things you can do!

This expansion is great! Although some people say that this game is not as good as Livin' Large, I think they were both the same. I like this game because of all the new stuff, and how you can have a party with only having to do one thing. I used to have parties when i just had Livn' Large, but it was too hard to get everyone together. I have had this game for quite a while now, like a year. Well whenever it came out. I love the Sims. I'm soon going to get the newest one. Anyway, in house Party there is soo much to do. You can all sing around the camp fire, play with the scientific stuff. I spent two whole days tring to find out what colors make what potions.

Overpriced!

I know that $*** does not get you much these days, but at least Maxis could have included something worth the price of admission. Parties are VERY expensive to throw and do not benefit your Sims very much. Skip this one and hope for more from "Hot Date".

Bored with Livin' Large? This game is defenitly for you. It contaians tons of new objects, especialy in the buy section of the game. It also contains some new things for building and new clothing choices for your sims. The best part though, is the "Through A Party" option. When chosen, all of the sims in the nieghborhood come over. They get to dance in the dance cages or on the light-up floor, eat all they want at the buffet, dj the music stand and party their heart out. Still not convinced to buy this game? Buy it! You'll be glad you did.

For anyone already addicted to The Sims, this add-on is a must-have, if only for the high hilarity of the male and female dancers who leap out of a cake, boogie down for your guests and then proceed to flirt with everyone in sight. Or the caterer and the mime (if your party is dull, the mime shows up, a sure sign that your Sims have no life) who get into it over the buffet table. Or the sheer joy of watching Joe and Judy Mundane line dancing while a bunch of Parrot-heads relax around the pool. There really is something for everyone here, and it's the best way yet to increase the social and fun points of your Sims.

Those of you who collect new objects will find a lot of wonderful new items including a dance cage, a DJ booth, and a whole lot of tacky Tiki items for the total tropical experience. Build your little grass shack. Start a ranch on the north forty. Or just make Joe and Judy Mundane's life a whole lot more interesting with a bamboo shower and hay bale dining chairs.

And if you're not a Sims addict...what are you waiting for? C'mon and party down with the Sims, people. Party down...excellent...

Maxis did it again! This time party's are the main focus. You can buy buffet tables,fountain punch bowls, camp fires, and even a disco stand with flashing lights when you dance on them. You can hire the usual maids, gardners, and Annoying pizza guys, as well as caterers and male or female entertainers that pop out of a cake(one female even dresses up in a gorilla costume).If your party is a sucess a celebrity might show up. If your party is a drag a mime comes and you can't get him to leave(your guests hate him). That's pretty much the run down of this game.

This game is awesome!The graphics could be just a slight better but other than that the game is by far the best[...] game I've ever played!I like all the added stuff on The Sims House Party.There is just one more thing that should be in there if you want to make it a REAL sim game.You should have a [...] washer and dryer because how [...] do they always have clean clothes.Anyway I just wanted to let you know that this is the best [...] game i've ever played!
