There's pretty much one new social interaction with this expansion pack and it's "throw party". Ya throwing parties is a lot of fun, but I bought it more for the items. Have fun!

Let me say first of all that I LOVE THE SIMS! I have played the basic game for many hours and loved the first expansion pack - 'Livin Large. Maybe I've come to expect too much from The Sims' creators, but I found House Party to be a bit disappointing in its additional content. True, there are lots of additional objects and if you're having a really great party Drew Carey will drop by. The changes didn't seem substantive enough to warrant a new expansion CD release and I would have liked to have seen other larger changes like the ability to alter the basic neighborhood characteristics, ability to troubleshoot problems with downloaded families, etc....rather than just receiving additional fun items and the ability to throw a party. I'm looking forward to Simsville - perhaps this will offer the property altering enhancements I've been hoping for.

this is another great sim game but this one is diffrent! YOU CAN THROW A PARTY! this is a kickin game and the special objects for partys are great. invite ANYONE YOU WANT! even flirt or make friends. its totally real and the graphics are great even though there not that good but who cares! the way they talk is too funny and it makes the game more intresting. house party is by far the best expantion known to man (or woman) haha! go and get this game now but you must have an original sims game! boooo. sims is fun too and the totall would be 30 dollars both of them together! totally WORTH IT! ahh i got to go play it before i burst.oh yah.. who wants to come to my party?????

I think this game is probably one of the most funnest games a kid could ever have. If you are a fan of The Sims, then you'll for sure love this game!!

There are three new themes, objects, skins, more building tools, and tons more. You are sure to have a blast with it.

Anyways, the sims house party is a must have. There's the mechanical bull ride, dance cages, even a bonfire!! Believe me, once you get this game you'll never stop playing it.

Did you know that if you make a really cool party, a famous person might show up?! The first time I played it, Drew Carey showed up!!

This game is a must have. And the only thing I can tell you is that it is worth every pennie!!!

This game is a good expansion pack for The Sims, but it isn't perfect. Basically, it adds objects and NPCs (non-player characters) to your game to help your Sims throw a successful party. You can purchase a buffet table and a punch bowl, and hire a caterer to fill them for you. Or you can buy the DJ turntable and dance floors. There are over eighty new objects, and most of them are pretty cool.
But the game is not perfect. It adds a lot of neat stuff, but there are several bugs- most of them are small, but some get annoying. For example, the toliet stalls, avalible for download after you purchase House Party, get clogged and make the most annoying noise until one of your Sims fixes it. Servo, the maid and the repairman just ignore it.
And this game is a huge load for your computer! When I purchased HP, I had a three-year-old Dell, and it took almost ten minutes to load the game. Since then, I have gotten a new Dell, and it loads quickly, but if your computer is older and/or doesn't have a lot of memory, you might have trouble running this game.

This is a great expansion pack!I love it!It's new walls,doors,windows,wallpaper,plants and stairs are great .The new faces and cloths are more suitable for parting.They also put in 4 more neighbourhoods.Thre are also 100 new items such as the campfire,bubble blower,dance floor,dance cage and inflatable chairs.You can also hire a carter to help with the food.There are also more characters to party with!hire a male or female entertainer from the fancy feet cake,or,if you party is a smash Drew Carry comes,but if the Mime comes by your party is a snore!The 3 theme's are amazing!I relly love this game and recommend it to anyone who has The sims.House party is a great expansion pack.

This game is great! I will tell you what I know so far:

1. There are three different, new themes: cowboy, rave,& loau, 2. There is the cake w/the dancer, the caterer, the mime, the capmfire goast, and a whole lot of other charaters + a few stars. 3. Over 80 new objects. 4. The build mode tool makes it easy to make a island shack, a dance culb, and even a western ranch. 5. ITS CALLED "HOUSE PARTY" SO YOU CAN HAVE THE BEST PARTYS!!!

The Sims House Party is great add-on to the sims or livin' large. Your sims can throw huge parties with one of three themes or go for a mixed bag. The idea is to avoid the mime and throw such a great party that a celebrity guest drops by. The only downside to this is that you need an incredably large amount of simolians (the official sim currency) to throw a decent party. This game gives a new challenge to all sims players.

hi ive already written a review for the sims and i dunno if i done one for this or not but im gonna tell u anyway. this game is brill but i was more excited when living large came out and i felt there was more things in that but this has a theme which is party! i went off the sims for a while and now im addicted once again. by the way if you have this game it will b a good idea to buy the book primas strategy guide the house party version as this really helps telling you about how to plan a party and how to keep your sims happy and keep food in your guests belly. i thought i had it figured when i got the game but when i read the book it was easier and now my partys are so good i always get a limo pull up outside my house :) any way buy this game! it wont be a waste and then if your loaded buy the book! if you want to keep the mimes away.
there are pleanty of new objects windows doors wallpaper and floors and really cool skins and a chance to dress up your sims using costumes from the trunk. so thats all for now buy it! go on !

The sims house party is the expansion of the sims and the sims livin' large. The main feature of the game is to have parties and if they are a dud, the infamous "MIME" will come and visit, and try to cheer your guests up. If the party is a success then you will have famous stars coming to visit. The only one I know is Drew Carey and belive me, the sims are mighty impressed from his limo to his personality. In the sims house party you will find a lot of additional objects, skins, wallpaper, windows, etc. It's a lot of fun! Go on and try it!
