This was a great game. It was like a Tim Burton version of Alice in Wonderland. I love how dark it was. The graphics were great, and the story was interesting. I think it also helped to spawn a movie. Overall, this is a great game that I would recommend to anyone.

It is very rare that I find a game that keeps me interested all the way through, and this game did exactly that.
The genius creativity of American McGee is very apparent in thousands of little ways that you'll notice throughout the game.
This game doesn't settle for the standard weapons or standard ANYTHING of most other games in the action adventure genre.
I also bought the nothing-short-of-brilliant soundtrack, done by Chris Vrenna (a member of my favorite band: nine inch nails). I appreciate twisted art and also tend to enjoy things that play with my sanity ;). Alice was purrrrrrfect for that.

Never being a huge PC gamer, the few games I find that do satisfy my interests are great. The mix of excitement and horror ans I played "Alice" makes for exciting times. I still am not finished, since I have strong feelings against using cheats, and I never tire of it. This game is definitely not or children, but many adults will enjoy playing this game until the wee hours of the morning. The intense graphics and recognizable characters make this game one of a kind.

I was so excited to play this game I convinced my boyfriend to purchase his new computer about three months before he had originally planned... and wow, was I let down. Yes, the graphics are stunning- It is a spooky walk through a nightmare. But that is about all it is. I am a fan of puzzles and this was a shoot-em-up. The puzzles are basic, and there is a very linear path through the game- you must do this in order to do that in a rigid order. There is little room for exploration or variation from the pre-set path. The controls are also very difficult to learn, and frustrating- my weapons kept reverting to the basic knife in the middle of a battle because my strength depleted, wcan come as a very unpleasant surprise when you are trying to dispatch whatever gruesome ghoulie is attacking. Also, the 3D/360 view is fabulous when you are standing still and just looking around at the scenery, but it is a severe pain when you are in battle and trying to keep your opponent in view while aiming, shooting and dodging. I grew up with Sierra's King's Quest series, which were amazing for the time, and I guess I was expecting a modern, darker version of that- great puzzles, adventure, and humor, but this doesn't even come close. Despite my lack of playing enjoyment, I really love the concept. I am actually going as this Alice for Halloween this year. Also, there should be a movie based on this game coming out in the next couple of years directed by Wes Craven.

I have never layed an "M" game before, and when I first played this game, I never wanted to stop it was so much fun! American McGee's Alice is a brand new story of "Alice In Wonderland". When Alice was a little girl, her house cought fire and she was put in a mental hospital so she wouldn't kill herself. (Because her parents died in the fire.) She somehow falls through a wormhole into Wonderland. She is greeted by the white rabbit, who has changed alot, along with the chesher cat. Somthing has gone terribaly wrong. Somehow, Wonderland has become all evel. It is up to Alice (you) to journey through the lands and defeat the red queen. This game is rated "M" for mature users. This game is a violent thriller and has you leaning on the edge of your chair. I highly recomend this game!

Alice is a highly addictive and amazing game! As Alice, you are drawn into the surreal and visually stunning world of Wonderland. Travel through familiar landscapes, enjoy the haunting music, interact with many of your favorite characters, and fight the hordes of evil creatures set upon Wonderland by the Queen of Hearts. Alice is several years older now, and has been called by her friends, the White Rabbit and the Cheshire Cat, to save their dying world from the Queen of Hearts' rule. Things certainly have changed, and Alice must use an assortment of toys to fight her way past the Queen's minions, solve puzzles, and explore this fascinating world. Truly a remarkable game. While gameplay may seem too simple for such a place, it is still fun and intriguing and worth it just to see the land American McGee has laid out.

This game is stunning. The graphics are fantastic, the sounds are great, the fluidity of the movement is mind-boggling (probably depends on the system used though). I enjoyed it 100%. Some of the movements are tricky but a quick save is provided and should be used often. Bosses are difficult but with some cunning and perserverance a lot of fun. I liked the wierd wacky storyline which was cleared up a lot by reading the Dr's journal that comes with the game. Difinitly take the time to read the journal.

This game was one of the most fun games i've ever played. It was so fun I think that I had to buy it. The senerio is Alice's parents have died in a fire. Alice got sent to a mental instition. You don't quite know what happens but my guess is that she falls asleep and all of a sudden your falling down a rabbit's hole. You start out with no weapons but pretty soon you have a knife, throwing cards and much more. This game is so worth it. Please try this game it is worth every penny.

This game is one of the coolest games ever, the graphics are so amazing that not even i can believe how long it must have took to create them. i dont know what people are thinking when they say this game is boring, i think it is one of the coolest games of all time, the only problem with it is the 1 player game is rather short, but in my opinion u can play it over and over again, without getting bored.
