Good story line but a little disapointed

I was very psched up about getting this game when it came outbut when I finnaly got the game i was a little disapointed. I think that the story line to the game is a good one but I was hoping for better graphics and the camerah is a little anoying. It doesn't move as smoothly as one would hope for. I think that people will have fun playing this game but do not expect it to be the best game you have ever played.

This game is graphically stunning, the story is very interesting, and the sound is exellent, but this game has one huge flaw that I can't look beyond ther is no joystick support. Playing games while hunting down the right keys on a keyboard removes me from the gaming experience. Any action based game should have joystick support, thats why a home console system comes with a gamepad, not a keyboard. If this game had support for a joystick I would definately play it more, but untill EA creates a patch or upgrade it will probably just sit on my desk.

All of you who complain about the graphics obviously know nothing about PC games, the graphics are a thing of beauty, people complaining about the graphics are idiots. The AI is stupid as when you attack they often run around like chickens with their heads cut off. And the combat can be irritating as many weapons are slow and or ineffective. The game is fun nontheless.

With most of the new games coming out today, I tend to either get bored, causing me to lose interest, or frustrated, prompting me to get all the cheats I can. With Alice, there is enough of a challenge to keep me interested, but not enough to drive me to cheat. The gameplay, coupled with the intensely stunning graphics, and a captivating story has kept me rivited for hours. The only low point that I can think of is the interface. Sometimes it gets very unwieldy, especially when the action gets hot. But even with that flaw, this game is still well worth twice the price.

Electronic Art's new game Alice is a visually stunning masterpiece complete with beautiful graphics and sweet gameplay. Your character is Alice from the Wonderland books who is now older and a touch on the psychotic side. Unlike the older adventure games that come before this like Alone in the Dark and Tomb Raider, Alice is more artistic. Also on the downside it is highly more violent. Though it is definitely a game to be kept away from younger children, it is spectacular enough so that it can not be ignored.

This game has great graphics, but it's too hard to play. The jumping forward is hard to control and I keep falling into the pits. And just a few levels into the game the enemies strength becomes overpowering and in many cases they are impossible to beat and I can't win the level. I was resorted to use the cheats to make it through. And to add to that, starting a new level can take five minutes to load. The only thing I enjoyed about this game are the great scenic environments and well drawn graphics. Overall I give this game a thumbs down.

Great Fun (for the most part)

The game begins with a video that shows Alice's hous in flames. Alice is the only surviver of the fier. Alice can't deal with it all and goes crazy. She wakes up in a mental hospital. Her stuffed rabbit then turns its head and says something; then the game begins. You meet many familiar characters frome the book some of whitch are your ally but most of them have turned against you. You have to fight againt pike bearing cards, deadly chess pieses, bloodthirsty jaberwalkies, and many more terifying creatures. The grafics are great and the game play is exeptional. The only problem is that when your about five sixths through the game you sart to want more from it and stop playing (that was only my expierience).

I was not impressed with this game. I found that when you hit the key board to move, it was too quick. I would press it once or twice and it would just spin around. Overall, I did not like this game and suggest that you look for something else.

Unlimited potential...

...unrealized. Excellent idea, excellent graphics, completely destroyed by endless physical puzzles unrelated to the game itself. Could have been fantastic, ended up frustrating. **

EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NOT BEATEN THE GAME YET, I'M VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS GAME. I PLAY IT NOT STOP. EVEN MY FRIENDS LOVE TO PLAY IT!
ALICE IS IN AN INSANE ASYLUM AND SHE GOES BACK TO WONDERLAND, BUT EVERY THING HAS BECOME WEIRD AND UNNATURAL. SHE GETS HELP FROM THE CHESHIRE CAT AND THE WHITE RABBIT TO FIND THE QUEEN. ANYONE WHO IS ON THE QUEEN'S SIDE ALICE KILLS.
ALICE GETS THESE TOYS (WEAPONS) THAT SHE USES THROUGHOUT THE LEVEL, LIKE A KNIFE, JACKBOMBS, PLAYING CARDS, ECT.
ANYONE WHO LOVES FIGHTING OR KILLING WILL LOVE THIS GAME. I RATE IT 5 STARS!!!!
