When I first got this game I thought I'd be disapointed but I wasnt.I was shocked to find this as exciting and thrilling as it is.
The game is about Alice In Wonderland but is twisted.Wonderland has gone to heck and Alice has to save it.I just love action&adventure games.
I would recomend this for 12and up. Even though this is rated M I believe it is suitable for preteens.

Alice is a third person game inspired by the Lewis Carroll classic. It is built on the quake3 engine, I played it on the default OpenGL video mode and it runs great. At first i did not like the game and did not finish it, but now i love it. The level design is excellent it is one of Alice's great strengths, The level design sure is fantastic and surreal, there are lots of unique touches to each level to keep things fresh. I did not like the weapons and the combat in the game but there are lots of puzzles in the game which are fun to solve. Alice is a really good game. The graphics are dated today but the gameplay is sweet. Buy it you will not be dissapointed.

Hello. Firstly, I know this is a Mature game but when I bought it it was a 15's and I think it could be lower. Okay, it has a little gore in it, but hardly what I'd call "Realistic Violence". You're hardly gonna wake up one day and think "I'm going to go and chop a living card in half". I was only 13 when I got this game and the violence is more cartoonish than anything else. Not realistic or disturbing at all.And Alice doesn't act crazy, she's always nice and polite. I just wanna say this, if you've got a PC that can handle the graphics, get this game. The gameplay is lush, the characters are fab and chopping up some cards is a great way to get rid of built-up frustration. So it's healthy really. That's all folks!

twisted and evil, I love it!

I was on someone's site and saw a reference to this game. I looked into it and it seemed cool. Went out and bought it the next day. It is awesome!! Dark and gothic with very richly detailed worlds and levels and tonnes of interactive characters. I remember seeing this game for sale where I work but never really thought about buying it (never had the hardware to run it anyway). I've only just started playing but this game is worth it!! Top notch graphics and gameplay, I'd take Alice over Lara Croft any day. ;)

It's awesome game

The game had really good graphics. Enviroments are interesting, nice sounds and good music as well. I would say FOUR of levels are realy difficult. And each time I miss jumping I had to start over.Final boss looks awesome, I mean she's so scary, however, again I have to make her jump and jump. Ending cut scenes are little cheap. Overall, I had fun with this game, and I'm going to keep it.

5 STARS!!!!

Lets just get that out of the way eh? Yes I gave this game 5 freaking stars!!!!!!

Alice is put out by EA Games, the same people that put out Ultima Online, Allied Assault, Clive Barkers Undying, and Harry Potter Just to name a few...

This game is rated Mature and is reccomended for Ages 17+ for its animated violence and blood and gore.

From the back of the box:
Join Alice for a return trip to a wickedly deformed Wonderland. Confront the cruel Queen of Hearts and the revolting todies who enforece her evil with will. They're all mad! A fierce nasty fight for sanity and control turns into a leathal struggle for survival.

This game has a couple different levels. From easy to hard. I started the game on Easy (And it wasn't that easy)
And now I am going through the game again, but this time on the next level of difficulty. The graphics RAWK the sounds RAWK the game RAWKS!

The only ONLY complaint I have about this game, is that from time to time when you go to the next portal, the game has some talking scenes. They are kewl when you are just starting to play the game, but on your second + time around playing the game, you don't really need to see the scenes. To my knowledge you can't "skip" them, you just have to let them play through.

This is a good game to make time pass, or play if you have nothing else to do. It took me a week I think to get through the game, and that queen is NOT easy to kill! (That is the whole point of the game, to kill the Queen of Hearts)

Fun game, love the fighting, love the blood, love the graphics, love the premise of the game... Love it love it love it.

A definite MUST HAVE for anyone that likes Alice In Wonderland.

American McGee's Alice In Wonderland suprised me. When I first noticed that the game was out I was like yeah right, but I bought it and I loved it. Basicly you play Alice and Wonderland does not look like it used to. It is deformed and evil. She carries around a Knife along with many other toys (that you get latter in the game), as the Mad Hatter calls them, and she kills the evil monsters around her. The Graphics in this game are unbelievable. In the game there are many different levels and most of the characters from the movie (The Queen, The Cat, The Catipiller ex.) are in the game along with some added ones. The sky is a swirling black pit and the cat has no skin. The game is pretty advanced, not extermely hard but it has its times. If you like Alice In Wonderland or you thought the movie was to fruity then this is the game for you. Its an awsomely wicked game that everyone should try. Highly Reccomended.

An Awesome Game. Deserves 100 stars.

Now, I didn't play this game myself. I watched my dad play it. It's a sick twist of the beloved children's story. DON'T LET YOUNG KIDS WATCH YOU PLAY IT!!!!!!!!!! I'm 12 and some things freaked me out. Even one part freaked my dad out. But don't let me scare you away from it. The game's totally cool! You have to fight creatures like the Duchess, Jabberwocky, Mad Hatter, Giant Ants, Chess peices, Cards,Phyco Kids,Yelling Red Bee things, The Red Queen, Yourself (very very end) and other stuff. You make friends too. Some are the Moch Turtele, Griffin (He's cool!)and the Cheshire Cat. And you get a really cool mirror. Alice will look at it and then she'll turn into what I would call Scorpian Girl. She also gets some dice. She'll roll them and the sign of Satan will appear and a winged Bat/Crocodile will help you fight. This is a game of wits. You have to outsmart it. There are some really hard parts where you have to think hard and it's a memory game too. There are also some parts where you'll think it'll be real hard because the game so far has been that way. Don't think that! I know there were a few parts where my dad and I were thinking really hard and we didn't need to. The answer was right in front of us. This game is worth more than $20.00. But if you go to Best Buy, I saw it there for $10.00. And Circuit City even had it for $5.00. So there you are. If you like this game, American McGee is coming out with a game just like only it will be THE WIZARD OF OZ.

Incredible game!!!

I admit I wasn't sure what I was getting when I bought Alice, but it turns out it is one of the best games I have ever played. The graphics are nothing short of spectacular as well as the storyline. This is one solid game. Challenging puzzles throughout make it all the better. I was shocked at the so-called top 500 reviewer's comments. They were way way off base with what this game really is, truly incredible, I am only about a third of the way through, if that much and I am so engrossed with this game. It's a must buy for 3rd/1st person game lovers. One of the most breathtaking original games in a long time.

This is a great game. Its plots will take you back to when you first read the book or saw the movie. It's evolution is great. You move through the game and learn more and more about the twisted little tale that is Wonderland. The only problem i saw was that it has next to no replayability. Everything is the same. There is no character customization, but with how good it is the first time, it is worth the money, easily. Just dont plan to play it for years to come like games like Diablo 2, or Starcraft can be.
