Another Great Game by Konami

DDR Max 2 is the most current in the line of Dance Dance Revolution games released by Konami. This will be the 5th game they have released in the US, and all of them have been great with not just jpop songs but songs you will have heard of in the US. The PS2 version does not have online play like the Xbox version, but it's still a ton of fun.

This game features a host of new songs (40+) and videos that you won't find on the previous games. All of the games feature the same addictive gameplay, but newer versions just include newer songs.

There is a dance pad that is bundled with this game, but do yourself a big favor and get a redoctane Ignition pad, which will improve on the Konami pad 100%.

DDRMAX2 IS THE BOMB!!!!

I just can't stop playing it!!!!!! The music is THE BEST!!!!! My personal Favorates Are Breakdown! and Dream a Dream! for all you parents out there, DDRMAX2 will hold you kid atention for months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recieved this game for Christmas with a Dance Pad. I must say it is the most addicting game I have ever played and an extremely fun form of working out! I just play till I can not stand anymore. I exercise and do not know it. I love DDR and you will too! Great music, fun courses, awesome time! Buy it, you will love it!

Awesome videos and easier to unlock hidden songs than I expected. After about 5 or 6 hours of play, already unlocked 26 out of 35 hidden songs. It just gets more fun every day!

This Game is the best game I have ever played! I started off at the first dance dance revolution game for playstation 1 two years ago! It has taken about 2 years but now I am proud to say, that I can play ANY song on Light, Standard OR Heavy. Dance Dance Revolution is becoming very popular as the months go by. It is a great workout (I have lost over 10 pounts on it) and it is DEFINATELY worth all of its money! This is just the beginning also! The best part about this game is that you can make your own steps for songs! Then you can take your memory card from the Playstation put it into the DDR Machine in an arcade and play the steps that you made for the song! I am a proud owner of My DDR max 2! You will become a proud owner too.

I'm a thirty-something mom that got this game primarily to work out to and I love it. It solved my two biggest complaints about DDRMAX in that it takes too long between songs and my kids weren't able to play it by themselves. Now with beginner mode my kids can play with no problem and thanks to the easier nonstop courses and endless mode I can get a great workout without having to stop after every song. Oh and yes I have lost weight which is the best thing of all!

This is one of the Longest Games ever if you just started(Could take you up to 3 years!!!) I am DDR fan and I've been playing for 2 and a half years. And I am an Expert Player at this game considered by many for being the Dance Master in My Region(because I can beat any song). And take my Word!!! NEW Songs, NEW Modes, NEW Stuff. And that just makes it more fun. It's worth the money

DDRMax2 is the hot new way to exercise. Because it's so much fun!
First a simple overview. DDRMax2:Dance,Dance Revolution is a Playstation game where music is played on your TV screen. Arrows move across the screen. The player dances on a dance pad and attempts to move their feet to match the direction of the arrows. The better you do the more points you rack up. Sounds simple but it can be tough depending on the difficulty level you choose.
While the music is playing (and there are a number of songs to select from or let the game select for you) the background will change. Sometimes there will be videos, othertimes characters that you can select to dance with.
So each time you "play" the game looks different and you will have the challenge of trying to improve your ability level.
I purchased the game for the workout and am delighted to find that it's so much fun I could (and do) spend hours on it!
The game has the added bonus of a "Workout Mode" so you can track your calories, weight and progress.
You will need a dance pad to play the game. I bought two dance pads so my daughters could take turns working out with me or each other. Well worth the investment. I would advise buying good pads with good padding so it's easier on your joints as you will be doing a lot of moving around.
A+++++ for this great game that gets both kids and adults moving and grooving and having a GREAT time!

ok lets start out with the great features for you beginers out there, who are thinking of bying this game. Ok first of all this game is one way to get your son, daughter, yourself or anyone you know into good shape. I myself have lost 10-15 pounds playing for about a month. Also this is one of the greatest arcades hits of the century (go down to an arcade and ask someone if they know what DDR is, and you will get an automatic yes). This game contains most of its greatest hits from the DDR world (many of which are legendary: Paranoia, Maxx Unlimited, Breakdown and many more...). the gameplay is simple and fun. The game contains a lot of dance hits from known artist many of which you have heard of. this game also brings back one of my favorite features which is the dancers (yes those cute cartoony characters which burn up the floor the better you play) which we DDR fans know and love. now the game dificulties may be a bit hard for beginers but look at it like this Beginer=beginer intermidiate= light, experienced=standard, mad-skilled=heavy and insane=Challenge mode (note some songs are easier on challenge than on heavy). also a word to beginers stay away from MAXx Unlimited, Paranoia, Burning Heat, End of the Century and anything 6 ft and up lol
well sorry to keep yah reading but buy the game you will have hours of fun and drive your parents nuts in the process heh two birds with one stone. This coming from a 6 month Heavy/Challenge player get the game and enjoy yourself like I do lol well I'm off to play my DDR games DDR Konamix, DDRMAX, DDRMAX2 and can't wait till Extreme hits the shelf in the US. good day to you ^_^
