i personally spent $... on renting it only, and then bought it! THE BEST GAME!!!!! has ben my fav sience it came out!

I got the Legend of Dragoon forom a friend and he tolled me that I could have it only for a week. As i started the game Dart is out for revenge. and at first I thought that the game was lame but I had nothing else to do so I continued, as I started my first battle against a soldiar who attacked Dart 2nd home town, I began to have the fun of my life, I mean that game is the best game I have ever played in my life. I was a beginner and all so the combos were a bit hard but i got the hang of it in a few hours (10 hr). When I saw the transofmation of the Legendary Dragoon I was amaisd by how much fun this game really is. To tell u the truth, the game is a bit hard but when you get the hang of how to use all the spells and combos the game will be pretty easy, not for bosses they still are hard for me cause some of them can also use the spirit of the dragon but thats just something to make it more challenging thats but you will also get the spirit of the boss when you win. I didnt finish the game but I am planning on buying it. Hope you will finds this game as much fun as I am.

This game is one of the greatest games in the sony gaming history. I gave this game 5 Stars because its a great acton-adventure and rpg game.Thats all i have to say, when you play it, you will understand what im saying!

This was an astonishing game, as the game progressed the plot always got more interesting with twists and turns that you would not expect. The battle technique was very unique and challenging. Trying to hit the 'x' button at the exact right moment in succession, made for a intricate yet fun game time. I was thrilled when I found out that they characters 'spoke' during the mini movies, which helped to plot along great, also giving you an in depth look. All in all this was a great game that I never tired over and was sad when it was finished.

Legend of Dragoon is my favorite game that I have played so far. I got mine in March but kinda ignored it because all I was doing was playing Final Fantasys and Tony Hawks. Now, I play it nonstop when I get the chance. I'm getting close to beatting it-I have to get through Law City Zenebatos. My total playing time is around 54 hours so far. The stoyline is great-voices during battles and 3d scenes-4 discs to keep you playing the game-and sometimes is hard at times if you don't fight enough. In my oppinion, This friken game is great. I highly reccomend you try it. Just to give you an idea what the game is like, I will tell you the beggining.

It all started one afternoon 18 years ago. Dart, The son of Claire and Zieg, is still a youngster. But then, the Black Monster attacks the town Neet that Dart and his parents live in. The Black Monster comes in Burning and Destroying everything and killing anybody who didn't tell where Princess Louvia is. (You will learn who the Black Monster really is further in the game.) Zieg and Claire take Dart out to the woods and tells him to stay there and go back in Neet to defend the town. The next morning, Dart goes back to the destroyed village. He finds his Dad's memento on the ground and takes it. He swears he will get revenge.
That's all I will tell you so you have an idea what it's about.

I Thought this game was awsome. The graphics are great, they are some of the best I have seen for a RPG. I really enjoy this game and I hope you do to. BUY IT!

well- when i saw the reveiws on this game here on amazon i almost didnt buy this game- iam glad i did. people said the storyline was bad and the characters had no past before joining dart(the main character). they were wrong. the battle system is excellent- you make combo attacks and to succeed you need to press the "X" button a number of times(depending on which combo) at the right time, it makes the game a lot more fun. the ability to turn dragoon is also very cool.the graphics are good too. if you like the gameplay of final fantasy IX and VII and battle system of Grandia2 (dreamcast) this game is for you.

LOD is the best game i've played in a loooong time!

This is absolutly an awesome game, the story sucks you in and before you know it you are at the third disc.I will warn those of you like me who hate prissy girls, Shana will make you mad.But it is a very cute story not to mention the great graphics and just plain awesomeness (is that a word?)of this game.OK,OK I haven't beaten it yet but i'm almost there. If you own a playstation, a memory card, and adore RPGs, this is THE game for you!!

This was an amazing game; the movie scenes and the plot were wondrous. The plot developed slowly enough to keep it mysterious but the game moved quickly enough to keep you interested. The twists and turns of this epic story were really good; you couldn't really predict what would happen next. The graphics were great and I loved the battle system. It did take a bit of getting use to, but once you got the hang of pushing the buttons at the right time it was very exciting and fun. Extremely well made game, I could replay it over and over again.
