What can I say? This game is an instant classic among RPG's. From the very first word of this game, the story has you entrapped in its flow. Everything you do, has something to do with the story line unlike some games. There are good twists and turns that keep you playing. The additions system is an interesting challege, but it does get a little annoying when have to kill an enemy and you mess up your addition. The chracters are eye-candy. The voice acting is in all the right places at all the right times. The control is easy to remeber. I didnt like that I was on a fixed path, you should of had a chance to wonder freely, or even better they should of given the option of a fixed path for begining RPGers. The Dragoons are the coolest part of this game. Their spells are awesome to witness. I recomend this game to anyone who apprecitates a fun and intersting game.

I used to play this game all the time as a kid, and unfotunately, one day, I overwrote my save file and it was all gone, and I lost any motivation to start again. Now, at an older age, I once again enjoy the game like I used to. It has a good storyline, great characters, and great gameplay. Graphics are actually pretty good for the time period.
Excellent! Best-est!

I must say this is the best of the best RPG game. I love the sequence input format where if you successfully pressed the sequence needed, the character will use a powerful combo! I played this game like 4 years ago and I am always looking forward to play the sequel of it, which I am still waiting for them to develop it.....=(
GOOD RPG

If you are one of those losers that sit around and have to be "loyal" to final fantasy, then you should be shot. This game is a great rpg that everyone should play. the only bad part of the game is when you fight with sissy a** Shana during the first disk. I have beaten this game 3 times and i know everything there is to it. Probably the best part of the game is the additions that you must perform to maximize your damage. If your a clumsy piece of s*** than your gonna suck at this game. These additions are hard, and when i say hard i mean "hard." This game has a great storyline, great characters, a fun battle system, and is one for the ages. If you are stuck and need help u can instant message me (my screen name is the same as my nickname). I know this game inside and out and i know other rpg's inside and out and this is truly a great one.

Legend of Dragoon looks very difficult at first because of the complicated battle system. I was at first disappointed but after I bought the ultimate wargod ring at Lohan(it took a lot of patience to earn enough money to buy the ultimate wargod accessory) the whole game is like a piece of cake. I finished the game in 98 hours, now it's my 2nd repetition. Those who bought this game and plan to sell it, think again, it's a great game, believe me, give it another try!

It's a real fun game. My 15 yr. old son totally loves it, and trippy characters are cool.
Very Addicting, and refreshing role playing game

So I needed something to do, so I got a game made by sony because the original never let me down. Well besides the awesome CG movies the gameplay is addicting. The battles add a twist of involvment that is unique, which is a change from boring turn based games of the past. I only play a select few games and want something TO KEEP ME BUSY for my [money]. I am quite satisfied with the sleepless nights of playing this game.

I used to play this game as a kid. I played it over and over again. Then one day, I guess I just forgot about it and moved on to other things. In retrospect, The Legend of Dragoon must have been the best game I had ever played.
Dubbed the "Final Fantasy Killer", I believe this title lives up to it's name. Having played many FF games, and all kinds of RPGs, I have concluded that this game is the best of them all. I hope to obtain another copy, play it all over again, and create new memories...

I bought my copy of Legend of (the) Dragoon when I got my PS2 (shortly after the PS2 release). My Son and I fell in love with this game playing it time and time again. The disadvantage was we couldn't play it together.
We stopped playing Legend of (the) Dragoon for two reasons. Disc 2 became unreadable on either our PS2 or portable PS1. The release of Final Fantasy XI for the PS2 sealed its fate in our home.
Recently, though, I find a video combining Final Fantasy XI with Legend of (the) Dragoon. It reminded me of the fun I had with the story line, playing the Dart character, and how I got into fantasy role playing games.
So, I'm going to buy a replacement copy, pull the portable PS1 out of mothballs, and play Legend once again.
My only regret is Sony didn't do a follow-on to this wonderful series. Honestly, I'm still waiting (yeah, I know I'll be waiting forever). In the meantime, I'm playing FFXI and loving every minute. Why is FFXI so great? It's the real life players and my Son and I can play together even though we're separated (whether it be 5,000 miles or just a few).

the game i bought was suppost to be new. But a third of the way thru the second disk it froze up. And the game has four disks, if you cant get thru the second disk you cant advance in the game. The seller refused to replace the disk or the game. Amazon was great they refunded my money. But i will never buy another thing from the seller
