Legal and Addictive

In the beginning, this game is tons of fun. Trying to get one of the five girls to like you is a blast, even if you don't start out with that much money. I assure you when your girl of choice gains a pink heart you will go absolutely wild. However, the game stops here. It is more addictive than fun, really. When you get all the home extensions, have all the money in the world, a baby, and a nice farm with lots of animals, the game loses interest. No longer do you have a purpose in the game. It becomes endless and boring without anything to do. The girl will start repeating her words, and each day will become a responsibility of feeding your animals, watering your crops, instead of fun like the game should be. Let me tell you, there is no big surprise ending here. Once you get the girl, nothing happens, and too much of this game will give you a glimps of what you are ignoring: your own reality. Remember, this game is fake, and no girl would really ever be a conquest. At the end you will see how much time you have wasted, and regret ever buying it.

Harvest Moon is the one of the best RPGs out there

I heard about this game in one of the nintendo power issues. I at first was like whhaaat.So I got the versions of Harvest moon for SNES and Gameboy and it was surprisingly good. If you like RPGs then this is the one to buy because it has one of the best graphics and it is just fun owning livestock.

Fun at first, but loses its appeal later

I had so much fun playing this game at first that I wanted to play it every spare moment. Once I got further into my first game, though, it seemed pretty boring to water the crops and milk the cows every day. Once your character is married, your wife can really get on your nerves too! I started a second game but it still wasn't the same. There are a lot of great things about this game, but after a while I wish a farm hand could take over your chores and free you up for more adventurous tasks!

When I first seen this game I thought it would be lame.But after five minutes playing it I thought this was the best game in the history of man kind.I mean the graphics are great and after the festivals,contests and animals, I was hooked.In this game you get to take care of crops feed animals and even get one out of five girls to fall in love with you!That is why all listeners should buy this wonder full game.

This game has graet graphics, sound, gameplay, and graet replay value, music gets slightly repetitive though.

A good,fun,RPG.It has good dialog,and incredible graphics.Teaches kids responsibility while having fun.Things like the wooing element make it a little more mature game than the last two.Karen is my personal favorite.You have so many charachters to interact with,you could spend hours just gossiping.My son who is typing and putting most of his ideas(like Karen)on this.His friend Rick likes Popouri the most.There a bunch of 11year olds (including Reed,Johnny,and Josh)who are looking for a good RPG and girlfriends.Andthis is it.Myself has 1 more game i like better than this, THE LEGENDS OF ZELDA,LINK TO THE PAST.

Its grrrreat !

This is the coolest game in the world. If you like the sound of the game buy it. I am very picky about what kind of games I like because usually I get tired of a game after a little while. But, i just cant get enough of this one. So, go and buy it now ?

The original 2 games for SNES and Gameboy were sleeper hits. The N64 is even better....better graphics,more items,more people to interact with and the fact that u can get married and have kids....awesome game

I have been playing this game a lot, and i agree with almost every other user opinion in this section! This game is fun, very addictive, and is much more than just a farming sim. Unfortunately, i'm a little bit disappointed because of so many shortcuts that were taken when they didn't need to be.... The N64 is a very capable system, and it wasn't used to it's fullest here. And if they didn't use the space for graphics, they could have used it for sound too... Like voices and such. But they didn't do that either.

Don't get me wrong, i love this game, and i play it a lot! But i find it a bit disappointing that the playstation version will be so much better. I don't have a playstation. So all i can really do is just sit and hope they decide to make a sequel, either for N64, or hopefully, for Dolphin.

Harvest Moon is easily the funnest game I ever played. You plant crops, build stuff and eventually get married and have a kid. This game rocks!
