THE BEST N64 Game

This game is the best. I am glad I bought it because I LOVE it! I mean it doesn't have a guns or blood and gore, but it still is the best!

Harvest Moon 64 is an awesome game. You have to take care of your animals and crops, date a girl, go to festivals, get lumber to add things to your house, get married, have a kid, win races, gather recipes, help people, go on an egg hunt and so much more. The biggest problem with the game is some of the glitches in it. I have experienced major slowdown sometimes but if you ignore these this is a must-have game.

This is a great game. I was reading all the reviews and I got convinced that I should get it. So I went... and got it. I played It for 5 min. and fell in love with it. Its so great to have a game thats not a shoot em up killer game. Its long and exciting. If your planning to buy a game with some real role playing game. get this one. if not this game isn't for u.

You are in a village in the middle of nowhere. But things aren't that bad. You have 5 lovely woman that you can marry and evenaully have a baby with. Then there's the farm. If you fix it up you can grow crops. You control pretty much EVERYTHING! This is a great game. I love it and the people crowd around me when I play. It is a great game!

This game is really cool! I've played this and Harvest Moon Back to Nature. Of course it has it's downfalls like, the graphics aren't as good as Back to Nature, and you can't cook, but it's still fun! You get to pick what you want to be built, your tools level-up the more you use them, and getting married is so easy! If you talk to your cow everyday and brush it, it will definently win the cow festival! Your horse grows up before Summer, and there's no extra button to push to run! It's really fun! There are the same animals you can raise, and the same girls, different people live in different places and have different families, but I think everyone from Harvest Moon Back to Nature is in it, and more! Well that's all I have to say, but if you like the Harvest Moon Series, DEFINENTLY get this game!

This is the coolest game. First you must take over your grandpa's run down farm after he dies. There are five girls you can chose to impress. After they like you a lot you can get married and have a kid. That is not the half of it though. If you colect enough wood you can build a kichen, a bathroom and much more. You have to clear a field and grow crops. You can raise chikens, cows and sheep. There are tons of events like a horse race,a fierwork festival and much more. I must admit it dose get old after you play it 8 hours straight but is still so fun.

Ah, another great Harvest Moon game. =D

Yes, another great Harvest Moon game to play. Really fun, lasts for a LONG time.

The story is your a boy, and you get a farm in your Grandfather's will. You also get a dog, and a field filled with logs, rocks, and grass. Time to get to work! You can grow crops, improve your house, get a wife, enter in contests, and loads more! This game actually has more than A Wonderful Life, yet they are both great. This game is alot like the GBA one, yet I haven't played much of it to REALLY know. I'm not to far on it yet, so I can't tell much of the story.

Ratings:

Graphics: 9/10
Really good, N64 at it's best. Just a few flaws.

Sound: 10/10
YES! The music finally changes depending on what part of town your in! Much better than A Wonderful Life.

Replay Value: 9/10
This game goes on forever, or at least really long. I would give it a 10, but you can get bored at times.

Gameplay: 10/10
Flawless gameplay is in this game, even if you are bored you can still do things.

Overall: 9/10
This was a great game, not as addicting as HM: AWL, but still as fun.

Rent, Buy, or Pass? Buy!
Fun, and there's a great deal to do.

Ever wanted to get away from those high-paced, action-filled, bloody games? Have you wanted to just create a duel life where you have a nice little family? Harvest Moon 64 does this by combining the elements of farming and dating, to bring you one of the most spectacular simulation video games ever.

Story 9/10: As the game starts out, you learn that your grandfather has passed away, and you have inherited his farm. Each day you go outside and tend to your farm. (Pulling weeds, planting stuff, etc.) Along the way you can participate in fun town activities/festivals, and if you get bored you can go to the bar, take a shower, or tend to your animals! You also have 5 girls to choose to date/marry (Ann, Elli, Karen, Maria, and Popuri.

Gameplay 10/10- Probably the best simulation/RPG on the N64. Anyone can love this game, even if they hate farming. The difficulty can also range, depending on whether or not you want to get EVERYTHING in the game. You could choose to work your tail off everyday, or just lay back and enjoy life.

Sound 8/10- The tunes are pretty good, and they each fit they're season/location. However, after a while the music can get a little repetitive.

Graphics 8/10- The Graphics aren't that great, but they are very good compared to the previous Harvest Moon games. The characters aren't too blocky and the scenery/landscape is pretty good as well. This is the first 3D game in the series.

Replay 10/10- You won't want to put this game down for a LONG time. Even after you beat the game, you will probably feel the urge to keep playing (even though it goes on forever). Or you could decide to create a new file and try new things (Marry a different girl, make more friends, get a better score, etc.).

Overall 9.5/10- There is always some sort of repetitiveness in a simulation game, but Harvest Moon 64 turns that negative aspect into a positive one. This game is the best Simulation game I have ever played, and I would pay $70 for it if I had to. Harvest Moon 64 is possibly the greatest life-simulating series out there.

Harvest Moon 64 is a great game! The fun never ends! The things to do are endless. You'll never get tired of it. I still haven't. You can play for hours and hours and not get tired of it. I recommend this games from ages 6-13 and up. It's so much fun to play this game with your family. In the game you lwarn so much about life and farming. You can get married, raise a child, horse, dog, chickens, cow's, or even sheep! You can also grow many different crops and attend a bunch of fun festivals to even win prizes. There are many shops to go to and you can even add many different things to your house like a deck, greenhouse, kitchen, bathroom, and more. That's just half the fun! This is a great game! I recommend you get this one.

Harvest Moon is the greatest game! It starts off sorta boring but in a few days(Harvest Moon days) it gets good. You have 5 girls to choose from, you get cows, sheep,chickens, festivals, home improvements, ect. This game is based on real life, only you get money a lot easier...
There are a few mistakes in the game, like spelling errors, and the graphics could be better, but hey it's worth it! As you move on in the game, you can choose 5 girls to marry. You marry one when her heart at the side of her speach box is pink/red. When you are married there's a suprise, but you won't get it until you please yor wife!
You will find all these things in the game, plus much, much, more. I hope my review helped!
