Great game, takes some configuring

My husband and I play scrabble nightly from our computers. We have a great time, but everytime we upgrade the computers or the network it takes a few weeks of guesswork to find the right settings again. The last instance was a resetting of the application gateway for Active X controls on the firewall. I had to go to the Microsoft site to find instructions. All of this is quite frustrating, but the game is so addictive that we continue to find solutions.

Computer Scrabble is not only entertaining but is also educational. It is suitable for people of all ages. It's extremely versatile so you can play at any level you please. It can be played with other players, live or computer, so is great for shut-ins. Beast of all it is very affordable. We play conventional Scrabble but often both are not free at the same time. Score-keeping is automatic which is a definite plus.But you must have spare time because it is extremely addictive.

I enjoy playing Scrabble. I was disappointed to learn that Scrabble "Complete" wasn't as complete as Scrabble 2. Everything is virtually the same with the exception, I haven't been able to place "Maven" on the screen and enjoy "it's" animations with Scrabble "Complete". The addition of "Boggle" was a nice gesture. If you have Scrabble 2 you have a more "complete" version, stick with it.

I HATE having to insert game disc every time I use the game! It is good only for those who have a very small space on their hard drive in order to use the game!!!!!

I am using this game as relaxation and as well as a memory challenge. I have started at the beginner's level and progressed from there. This game allows me the ability to play at anytime against the computer player or a person if I so choose. I would like the ability to challenge the computer as well but that isn't possible.
The game is easy to view and play. You can turn off the music if you choose to do so. I have had no problems. A small inconvenience is the need to keep the cd in the computer each time of play. cms

I love this game. It works perfectly with my computer, never had any problems.
There is a section that gives you a dictionary (so you can type in and see if the word you are thinking is acceptable), and also a 'suggestions' button that gives you all the words that you can play using your tiles in relation to those placed on the board! I find this a very helpful learning tool.
You can also customize the level of difficulty of the computer player.

Overall it is a great game for anyone who loves scrabble, i am completely addicted!

The game is great but we are disappointed in the CD itself. It is a nuisance to have to insert the CD everytime you want to play. And this automatically preempts one from using the game on a second computer--i.e., a laptop --unless you take the CD from your spouse who then will be unable to play on her computer.
Had I known this was the case,I would not have bought Scrabble Complete.

Please,please believe the reviews on this game! I purchased it because I loved the game and the price and yes I did read the reviews. Yeah, I wanted the game that bad, but as the others have stated the screen does go black and you do need to use the mouse to get the screen back. The last time I played the game the darn thing frozen my computer screen I had to shut it down and restart my computer. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone even for the price and to top it off I'm afraid to try to put the game back into my computer to play again (I'm not computer savvy)so I wouldn't want to have my computer have a permanent problem. It's very fustrating and now I'm trying to find another Scrabble game without the Windows XP SP2 issues. Ha! good luck on that one. That's why I gave it a 1 star rating overall but a 4 star for fun initally and boy did I have fun at least until it started messing with my computer! So I thought better of that rating and took it back. What fun is it when the darn thing can cost you more to fix the problems it causes your computer!

Item was sent very poorly packaged. Game has many glitches. When we can get it to work on our PC, great game.
