Consider this a Wii Remote with a $10 game

As many others have stated, this package is really the Wii Remote with a bonus $10 game included. You would not buy this for the game due to the simplicity. Most games do not have lasting appeal; possible 1 or 2 will be fun when playing with others. Buy this only if you cannot find the extra Wii Remote.

Not a great game. Much preferred Wii sports that came with the console. The games weren't that fun and if I could do it again, I would just buy the remote and spend $10 on downloading some old NES games using Wii points.
Okay for the price

This package comes with a extra remote that is great. So if you take the actual cost of the remote $39 from your purchase, additional $10 is the cost of the 9 games in the DVD. You get the games worth that value. Kids will enjoy the Mii, Cow racing, Fishing. You will like shooting and pool and neon hockey. Couple of others games viz. Table tennis and war game are kind of crap.
Nintendo has done it again!

Wii Play itslef isnt that great. Most of the games in it are extremely simple, and you will be bored with them in minutes. There are a couple that arent bad though: Table Tennis, Air Hockey, and Pool. But even these are really only fun if you have someone to play with. Overall, if you need an extra remote, its not a bad buy, considering the remotes cost 40 bucks by themselves.
Waiting for a new game

I ordered this game for my children for Easter. It sounds like a great game and the extra remote will come in handy. Unfortunately, I cant' review the game because we have yet to see it. The game will not work in the Wii. I followed all the troubleshooting advice. Our Wii is not broken since it plays the other Wii games we have. I have called Nintendo and they have been very polite. They are sending a mailer for me to return the disc and will send me a new one. I am hoping I just got a bad disc and the new one will arrive so we can play the game. If anyone else has a problem I'd recommend calling Nintendo.
just buy the second controller alone

the game is worthless. you need a second controller, but just buy it alone. even at $8 the game is a waste.

Wii Play is kind of a continuation of Wii Sports. As a lot of people know, A Wii Controller costs $39.99, and this cost $49.99. So why spend an extra $10 on a game that really doesn't matter when the controller is the main thing you want. Well you get a controller plus a game with pretty cool games that further more shows the wii controllers capabilities. There are 9 games in all and they are Billiards, Laser Hockey, Fishing, Cow Racing, Ping Pong, Mii Pose, Battle Tanks, Shooting Range, & Find Mii. They all have a specific and fun way too play. There are some good games, but most of them suck. About 25% of the games on here are worth playing but 75% of them are not.
Good Games
-Billiards - the most fun game and the one game that has the most realistic physics that are very impressive, I wish they could have had a full 15 ball game instead of 9 Ball, too short especially with two players.
-Laser Hockey - a pretty fun game, plays like good ol' PONG but more flashy. The game can get a lil frustrating and very tireing cuz in order to control your side you have to keep pointing at your TV screen.
- Battle Tanks - a cliche' game basic and simple move around with yout Nunchuck attachment and shoot things (Warning: If you wanna play with anotther player you have too buy a Nunchuck Controller since this doesn't come with one).
Bad Games
- Shooting Range - Boring
- Find Mii - probabley the worst game on here
- Pose Mii- an annoying game period
- Ping Pong - hard to control and frustrating as hell
- Fishing - Just like real life except faster and twice as boring
- Charge! - a cow racing games that you have to knock down things while you go and try too win the race. actually kinda fun with another player but gets old fast.
Although most of the games suck some of them are kind of worth buying like Billiards alone. But They could of maybe added a Nunchuck controller upping the price a little bit of course, and could have added a 4 player multiplayer. But if you need too buy another controller which most likely you will, then you can't really go wrong with this it's just an extra $10.00 for an average game.
