after returning COD3 and red steel, i was really disappointed with the games for the wii, but i still wanted more wiimotes, because gamestop never restocks things like that. i preordered this and thank god it came with a wiimote, because otherwise the fve dollar downpayment wouldnt have been worth recovring to return it. you only need to play each minigame once to unlock the next one, so i ended up effectively "beating" the ame in less than ten minutes. it isnt a great multiplayer game because the controls are unresponsive and clunky, nevermind the fact that it is too boring to keep for players of any age playing at the same time. dont buy this unless you cant get a wiimote anywhere else (dont frget that a nunchuck is NOT INCLUDED) and save your money for super smash bros. brawl or metroid prime 3. if it wasnt for SSBB, i would have already returned my wii and bought a 360 or maybe even a ps3. if you are buying this as the first game you get for the wii, DO NOT. buy cooking mama or twilight princess instead. im not even bothering to trade this in at gamestop because the gas to get there costs more than i would get for the game. one plus is that the wiimote comes with an extra thick cord, so if you are an idiot and cant manage to summon the strength to hold onto your wiimote, you wont be out a 5000 dollar tv.
Buyer beware..Wii required to play

I was so excited when I ordered this game and controller. Only after opening it and trying to play with it for 30 minutes or so did I realize that without a Wii you just cannot play the 9 games..I hate it when manufacturers say on their packaging 'Play it straight out of the box' that is so misleading.
Real Fun!!!

I am a Wii owner and the Wii comes with Wii Sports the game which includes motion activated Tennis, Baseball, Boxing, Golf, Bowling and Fitness Tests. Anyway, Wii Play (Not Yet Released) is like a part two of Wii Sports. So if you enjoyed Wii Sports you might want this. Another advantage is that you get a free bonus controller so you can play two player in all your multiplayer games!!! But rather pricy!!!

This game is the intro to the potential the Wii has on video games.
The games are very simple, yet entertaining and challenging enough that keep you coming back for more.
You can even break a sweat on the boxing game.
This game is a must; it's as entertaining as when Mario Bros for the NES came out with the NES, only this time on the Wii.
buy it only if you need the remote

All the mini-games suck. You will never play it the second time.

Wii Play games are really boring but i think it could be fun when you play it with your family or when you throw a party.
Basically i got this for the extra remote.
Not a bad deal at all...

If you remove the $40 remote from the price, the game is only $10. With that said, the game is entertaining for at least several hours, so $10 is really not all that bad. The games are simplistic and stupid for the most part, but there are a couple that can become addicting (Pool and the Air Hockey-type game).
