The best game ever made by Nintendo

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 2 / 2

This particular Zelda was better than any other game made by Nintendo. It was somewhat more challenging then past Zelda games. However, it was much shorter than Ocarina of Time or Wind Waker. I'm at the end of the 2nd-to-last temple, ans it only took my about a month. Ocarina took me about 3 months. Even so, this game is the Nintendo equivalent of The Return of the King. If you're a Zelda fan and haven't already bought this game, don't wait anymore. It's much better than anything else the Nintendo Wii has out right now.

Great game, though boring at times.

I've played all of the games in the Zelda series. It truly is an amazing series that is constantly on the forefront of story telling in games. Twilight Princess is no exception. Don't worry about not playing previous Zelda games. You can jump right into the story with Twilight Princess. Gameplay is very simple with great use of the "Wiimote". Though swinging your sword does get tiring at times, it does immerse you in the game. However, there are times where you'll get bored, especially a casual gamer. Hardcore gamers shouldn't have any problem. All told, Wii owners should look into this title. The game is incredibly long and it will stay in your Wii for some time.

Best Nintendo Wii game!

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is the best game out for the Nintendo Wii. If you have a Nintendo Wii you have to play this game. It has many features that are from the older games, but it also includes new ones making the game more memorable.

The wii-mote is really what makes this game so good. Swinging the wii-mote to get that real feel of killing an enemy with your sword is thrilling and exciting. The way you swing you wii-mote or nun-chuk was one of the best ideas for this game. It really feels like you are there in the game battling the bosses and enemies.

It is fun in every way and keeps you entertained the entire time. From killing enemies to flying creatures you've never even dreamed of keeps you going back for more.

The game is very long. It has up to nine temples which includes giving you all sorts of weapons that are traditional, and also introduces newer/improved weapons you grow to love.

The bosses are not very challenging, they are kind of easy in some ways, but you still have fun with the different features which provides use of your new weapons.

There are many characters that are from the old games we have grown to know and enjoy, but there are also new characters that help Link along his fun-filled journey.

The mini games and items you have to find are what make the game last long.

I enjoy running around in the game doing little mini games and visiting many sites to explore and find more items that are hidden.

I highly recommend this game!

Best Zelda Game Yet!!

The first 4-8 in game hours were slow for me because I felt that I was being pushed along the story line and wasn't able to go at my own pace, but once you get through that then its back to the good old Zelda we remember where you can spend hours searching and finding new things.

I was skeptical of the new control system as well at first, but I was proven wrong. Using the nun-chuck and Wii remote are a blast!! I wouldn't want to play this game any other way now and it doesn't take long at all to get adjusted to.

Graphics - 4.5/5 However they can still be jaw dropping in certain areas
Gameplay - 6/5 Truly a addictive fun experience!!
Replay - 5/5 There are so many side stories that you could play for hours upon hours trying to complete them all

Summary:
All in all this is a wonderful game that will draw you deep into the Zelda experience like no other Zelda has before, however, Ocarina came very close. This game makes me very excited for the next installment on the Wii!!

Zelda is Off the Chain. Pretty Good Game

I've finally beat the Game. It took me 54 Hours to beat the Game. It is long and you get your money worth. I recommend Zelda Twilight Princess. The good thing is that it is not difficult to play. The difficulty in the game is to find out what to do next to proceed in solving the "Darkness" around Hyrule.

If you want to have a game that utilized all the Wiimote and nunchuck then Zelda is the game. I have no complains about the game. Enjoy/Play it for a long time. This is what $[...] should give you.

Great Game.

ok, I have never played zelda before. This is my first ever zelda title. And this game rocks. I have already put in about 30 hours into the game and i am still ways to go. The game uses the Wii-remote's capabilities very well. And the looong gameplay makes it more than worth ur hard earned dollars.

An Absolute Must Buy Zelda

If you have a Nintendo Wii and don't have this game, than there is something wrong with you. So far this is probably the best game out for the Wii right now, the hype behind this game is real because this game is ingenius. First off is that this is actually a little more on the mature side, so people that are used to seeing Link like in "Windwaker" you most definetly won't find him here. Link is pretty much a man right now and it is for the better.

Zelda: Twilight Princess is one of those games that bring a groundbreaking experience like no other, this is probably better than its spiritual predecessor "Ocarina of Time" so this is arguebly the best Zelda ever created. As much as Ocarina of Time was THE first Zelda game to go 3-D, and that it was the first to do what it did, this Zelda is pretty much an upgrade in every possible way. The graphics, gameplay, music & sound, cinematics, pretty much everything is upgraded for the better. The game is a living, breathing world that is huge and diverse....you have grasslands, snow, underwater, even in the skies. You can mingle with people, buy and sell stuff, all sorts of things. This is a very long game it took me about 50 hours to beat (only because I decided to do extra sidequests), and even when your done with the story there are plenty of sidequests for you to do like collecting Golden Bugs or collecting Poe Souls.

The controls are the sellin point of Zelda, this is why people prefer the Wii version over the Gamecube version because of the things you can do with the Wii controller. The wii controller allows you to really have a feel to what your actually doing in the game, like for example swinging a sword now for a regular gamecube controller is just pressing a button repeatedly, but for the wii controller you actually have to swing the controller which really gets you in the game and never gets boring. The gameplay is great, whether your riding a horse, fishing for fishes or shooting at enemies with your bow it all just feels refreshing. The sound and music is epic and beautiful, you will hear familiar sounds when you recieve items and Links grunt never changes.

Now while this is a great game there is still little things that I have problem with. For one is the lack of voice acting in the game, you would they would do that sort of thing by now, although the cutscenes alone bring a certain depth that you can actually feel what is going on you still need some voice acting because reading is one thing I don't like to do in games especially in these times. (This is My Problem) I think that the game is extremely frustrating to get through by yourself without a walkthrough, I always find myself stuck somewhere almost in every f***in level it really makes me fell hella stupid sometimes that it's not even funny. But again they're just little things other than that this is a very good game.

My kids (and my husband) love this game

Everytime I walk into the room, i think they are playing a different game, but it's alway Zelda. Lots and lots to do and places to explore.
Game runs smoothly without any glitches.

Fairly engaging story; muddy graphics

I would have preferred not to rate this game yet, as I have only put several hours into it and would like to reserve judgment until later, however, this review will provide some inital thoughts. The new Wii remote is used well throughout the varying game circumstances, but not to it's fullest extent. It would be nice to see Link mimic the actual actions of the players swordplay rather than trigger a specific action based on a move by the remote. I personally prefer the graphic style of Zelda: Wind Waker over Twilight Princess; it seems the graphics are too big a task for the Wii to make look good at such low resolutions, particularly on a big screen television. The animations of all characters, however, are fantastic - much better than previous versions of Zelda.

When I received my copy of Zelda through Amazon, my son played it for about an hour and received a "disc cannot by read" error on our Wii. After several tries, the Wii was finally able to read the disc, only to find the same error shortly after. It wasn't long before the game completely halted. I contacted Amazon, they notified me that they could not provide a replacement as their supplier was out of stock. They quickly issued me a refund and I was able to purchase the game elsewhere locally. I was very impressed with the efficiency and turn-around through Amazon services.

Yeah.... it's definitely Zelda... meh

If you own a Wii, you sort of have to get this game. It's an unwritten contract that you sign the moment that you buy the console. Chances are, you'll have some fun with this game. If you're a child, you'll probably adore this game. I guess I can't really recommend against buying this, but I am disappointed in it.

This was an amazing game, when it was first released. It was, honestly, the greatest game I'd ever played at the time. It was innovative, epic, and the perfect 3D translation of the Zelda series that I knew and loved. It was the perfect game when it was released in 1998, as Ocarina of Time.

After the cell shaded, Kevin Costner's Waterworld-esque tragedy of Wind Waker, I was so excited to get a new Zelda game. I started playing, and found that the graphics don't look any better than Ocarina of Time's did. That's OK, graphics don't really matter. What matters is that the game is fun to play. Imagine my surprise when I found myself getting bored with this game, quickly. There were many times when I found myself forcing myself to go on, even though I actually started thinking I'd rather just watch a Seinfeld rerun. Seinfeld trumping Zelda is never something that should happen. It's just wrong. I was also pretty upset with the fact that the characters all look the same as the Ocarina of Time characters, including the enemies. Twilight Princess has the same boss fights, the same Zora and Goron stages, and the same everything in general as Ocarina of Time. Was I just wrong in expecting something new from Nintendo after 9 years? Apparently I was.

This isn't a bad game. If this was released 9 years ago instead of Ocarina of Time, I would have loved it. In 2007 though, on the most innovative console ever released, I just expected something new.

Oh, and for goodness sakes, put some voice acting in the game! I am so sick of hearing "whaaaaaaah", "whoop?", and "yeeeooow" while reading rediculous text.
