I am so happy that the makers of TM: 1&2 came back to makt this game. U will not experince the problems of your car constantly flipping over as in TM:3&4 wich were made by 989(they should stick to sport games!).The in game graphics are great but not as good as i expected but the cgs are the awsome. Though just about everything can be destroyed,(including buildings) the things that can't don't even show signs of damage.The boss fights can be hard and a little fustrating and often have u running from your enemy. The game is a challenge no matter what difficulty level u play on.The control is awsome though some people may have problems with the advanced attacks at the begging of the game.The level are awsome. Suburbs, Downtown annd Prison Passage are the best(mostly because they are the most interactive)! If u are not in to this kind of game u still will enjoy the game. Another cool thing is the game has a storyline depending on what character u use! Multiplayer is also great they even brought back the CO-OP tornaments so u can team up with a friend and beat the game as a team. The game does have a darker affect to it but it is the best of it's kind out. It's a great buy! or if u prefer an awsome rental

This is just a great game, i especially enjoyed playing 8 player mode with my friends, ahh smell that? welcome to flavor country. the carnage never ends and the game really gives you something to work up for. the 3d sequences are disturbing, sick, and violent. . . .I LOVE IT. try to get everyones story in the game!!! this is a must have for any true gamer.

The Twisted Metal Games have finally made a comeback, and i'd have to say this is the best by far. almost everything in the battle grounds are interactive. you can blow up houses, ferris wheels, jumbo jets and more! the graphics are incredible and there are lots of levels and brand new characters. of course they have everyones favorite Sweet Tooth and the best thing about him is that u dont have to unlock him. it also has all of the original codes like God Mode and Unlimited Ammo. Evem though its rated MATURE there is nothing bloody or gory during gameplay. it is all in the characters movies. so if u dont like that. just dont watch the movies.

A truly great game. The first time I played this game I was disapointed. But then I got hooked on this game so bad I couldnt stop playing it. Each character has a diffrent story and meanig to enter the contest. For me the best character is swwet tooth. Forget all of the other games this is a game you should truly have. I mean this game hase evrything faol language, violence, blood, gore, action you name it. This is the best Playstation game EVVEERR!!!!!!!!!

Best TM game out there.

Wow. Simple rule of thumb, if you liked Twisted Metal 1, 2 and/or Rogue Trip for Playstation, you will love this game. Simple as that.

... This game is a prime example of what can be done if a company decides to put maximum effort into there product. This game is such a beutiful reminder of why we love the Twisted Metal series so much. This easliy destorys the competion Carmawhat, Rouge who, Vigilante what #?
The theme to this is Rolling Stones song Black, and it fits the idea for the game masterfully. The contest now has some really freaky cahracters, doesn't matter if it's BRimstone the possessed priest, or Spectre the insane bride, you have some really sick characters. Unlike the past two where we had Grannies and Hippies for contestants.
There is so much destruction in this game that it is insane, and fun. Virtually every thing can be destroyed.
Overall this is well worth owning, no matter who you are (Unless your a tree hugging hippie who objects violence).

Finally! Twisted Metal is good again!

"Hey, look! A new Twisted Metal!" "Yeah, itbetter not be... like the others."

You know that was the conversation heard throughout Blockbuster's all over the country. Face it. TM 3 and 4 were terrible. Well, thankfully, Twisted Metal Black doesn't follow in its footsteps. It returns with characters from the first few games, not the cheesy Rob Zombie type cars. As expected, the graphics are marvelous. The levels are huge, and there is always something new to be found. In one level, you can have the airplane flying overhead shoot missles at an nearby enemy! The storylines are captivating, and definately better than the scrolling text from the first Twisted Metal.

Bitter about the last few Twisted Metals? This one will make you a fan again.

The graphics are great.. the sound is great.. the detail is great.. Lots of cars to choose from, and huge levels, like never before in a TM game.. Sad thing is, once you beat it with everyone, the only thing you really have left is Multiplayer with your friends.. still, offers up alot of hours, and end each for the characters are original.

The graphics are just amazing. The single player is kind of boring, but still good. The real fun in this is 4-player. Some people think this game is short but it can keep you enertained in the multiplayer for a really long time. The only problem with the multiplayer is that you can't add bots into your deathmatches.

I think Twisted Metal Black (TMB) was the best and most graphic twisted metal made so far. The graphics were top of the line-best overall. And the only even remotely hard thing was the controls and even then it was only at the start of the game. Overall I think TMB was the Game of the Year!!
