This game is good

I wasn't expecting Goldeneye when I put this game into my PS2. In a way, it was better in parts, and worse in others. Overall though, the good rules out the bad.

The good: graphics are INCREDIBLE. The singleplayer is OK. This game really shines though in multiplayer!Better than Timesplitters. An awesome feature is that you can set the speed of the game, ranging from the pace of Goldeneye to the light speed of Timesplitters. Its great! Personally, I prefer fast. You start with like 13 or 14 levels right off the bat, and the guns are incredible. There are over like 15 guns to choose from in multiplayer. This is all my brother and I played in our 5 day rental period. Its THAT good. The levels aren't huge, but they're incredibly well designed for snipering, forts, and ambushing. And there are just so many options! The only thing bad is that you can't set in bots(simulants). Characters aren't as famalair(except bond), but you get to know the other guys, and it gets to be fun. I had no idea this games multiplayer could be better than Goldeneye or Timesplitters, but seriously, this game has AN INCREDIBLE MULTIPLAYER. (by the way, no slow down on its fasted speed, which is very fast. tested it w/only 3 players though.

The bad: Again, no bots in multiplayer. The single player game is aslo a little easy. Sure, the storyline isn't as good as Goldeneye, Goldeneye was a freakan box office. Its good enough for a game though.

All in all, you can't go wrong with this game. Rent it first if you are uneasy with FPS. I rented it first, returned it 3 days late, then bought it. Its great when you have a couple other people to play with, lucky for me I have two brothers. This game is easily the best FPS on the PS2, and deserves its credit among all console shooters for its outstanding multiplayer.

This game is so dumbed down that it isn't even fun. It would at least be somewhat fun if Q wasn't walking you through the whole game like you were a freaking moron. "Hey I think I see a lock on that door that you can burn through with your laser!" I think that they misjudged the audience, I mean come on, this game's rated Teen, and Teenagers aren't that stupid.

This game is one of my favorites. If you love James Bond, you will love this game. It does not have a lot of blood - just "fun" violence in keeping with the good versus evil Bond storyline.
On the negative side, it could use better multiplayer options. The "training" exercises are a pretty flat and uninteresting. That said, the one player option is great and definitely worth the current reduced price. It's a lot of fun!

Not bad for a shootin Game!!!

007 is a good game, lots of action from run from a man with a gun to drive a car loaded with weapons and missiles. But it just doesnt add up to the power of SOCOM U.S. Navy Seals, but i call it second best shootin game.

Well this game is good in every way but the faces a little square
and not that complex and its a litle easy but other than that i say its ok. The funest is 2 player its the best. u can have unlimited jet packs, claw and low gravity. its a lot better in 2 player if u take the radar off. The 1 player is alright its sort but it will keep u entertaned. But over all it is pretty good if u can get over the bad stuff if u cant dont buy it.

James is back and better than ever! The graphics for this game are amazing. There are 12 action packed missions. Multiplayer is very cool too. There are 4 different games in multiplayer. There is a whole new line of weapondry and gadgets also. I have this game and on the seccond day I was already on the 7th mission. So for a good gamer this game might be pretty easy to beat.

This game is so much fun. The graphics are so good, you would think you were really in the game. I love the challenges, like getting special awards for getting gold and platinum medals. The only thing is I can't find any gameshark codes for the game, and it pisses me off, but overall I rate this game with 5 stars.

007 is the best muti-player game ever created..MD1

This game is so great...I play it all the time, especially the 4 player mode..In multiplayer mode, you can take the gravity off, and while using the q-jet(in any open ceiling arena)You can fight in mid air, or on rooftops.. Its like the MATRIX meets BOND all in one..The regular one player mode is awsome too, with everything from stealth missions, to driving cars and even a huge tank!!
The only bad thing about this game is that there were few codes/cheats for the game, but no gravity and a q-jet makes up for it..I cant wait till part 2( nightfire) comes out in november 2002, but till then its agent under fire for me..MD1 (oh-yea!!!)

Average Shoot em up

I was hoping this game would be just like 007 Golden Eye. As I started it up, and the very first mission, I got through it without even taking half my life. It would have been nice if the images would have been alittle sharper, but I think they took to much of an advantage on the PS2 graphics, which hendered the overall gameplay. Also, the shooting is a bit different. I remember in one mission, I unloaded 30 shots into a guys chest, and he still stood there shooting back at me. Even with the Shotgun, which is one of the best close-up and new weapons of the game, it took another 3 shots. It shouldn't be that hard to kill someone, I'de hate to see how much it takes in 007 mode. Also, there's a big lack of missions. They end and leave you hanging with nothing. It was like, What was the point of getting the vials if I lose them 3 seconds later. I'de have to rate this 3 out of 5 stars.
