Not bad but not great either

It is fun at first, but then you find out that 007 Agent Under Fire is an average first person shooter. The game plays like an arcade game with the James Bond trade license sprawled across the front. First of all, the game has nothing that feels like a good Bond story. The story is more sci-fi than a real Jams Bond story. Also, AUF has a bad control scheme, and poor artificial intellegence. AUF is also too easy. Once you find out what the game developers want you to do, it is too easy to beat the game. There are also some bad graphics that make the enemies look like walking mannequins. One of the only good things about AUF is the split screen multi-player option, which is fun when you have your friends over to play. Unfortunatetly, in multiplay there is no option to use AI Botts. (Although I have heard that they are unlockable in Game Cube versions.)
Although the multplayer is awesome, AUF has too many below average features to make it a game worth buying. I suggest you rent instead of buy this game.

James Bond: Agent Under Fire

If you haven't noticed lately, EA Games has been getting lackluster on its games: Freekstyle was a cheap reinvention of previous hit SSX, NBA Street Volume 2 was a replica of its first one, just with updated lineups, and NFL Street was unable to live up to its hype.

'Agent Under Fire' is an improvement for EA, but it isn't no perfect game. The first few missions are extremely easy and the enemies fall to the ground within 2-6 shots. The game gradually gets more challenging, but gameplay seems choppy. The weapons are their usual while the gadgets are sort of neat. The enemy AI is poor, but the graphics are great for a James Bond game. Bottom Line: of course, you'll have fun playing this game (It's James Bond game...duh!), but it's not as good as Nightfire and seems to only meet standards, not exceed them.

A Great Game That Pulls Players Into The World Of 007

This game is great. The missions that you complete are really fun, and getting behind the wheel of some of Bond's cars and a Tank is just amazing. But this game has one downfall: In comparision with the game 007: Nightfire, it doesn't look so good. It has great graphics but Bond doesn't really look like the Perice Brosnan in the movies. My advice is, get this game if you're really a fan of James Bond, or otherwise head for Nightfire instead. The multiplayer modes up to 4 player is great, espesscialy when you have friends over and you plug in the multitap and start playing from there, with your weapons and using your Grapple [If you switched it to on] to go swinging around landmarks like Spider-Man, or using your Q-Jet to go leaping into the air like Superman.

It doesn't get much better then this!

This is the best Bond game yet! The graphics are unimagineable. The guns are awsome. You get 12 levels in this game. 2 driving in cars, one of those car levels you also get to go in a tank! You go around with certain scores in the end if you score enough in the levels you get a gold medal and you get to receive special items. Like in the 1st level if you complete it with enough points you will get the golden gun. Which unlike the N64 game (where you can kill the enemy's with one shot). In this game it just substitutes the regular bond pistol and kills enemy's quicker. Again I really recomend to get this game! It is well worth ($$$)!

AWESOME GAME

This game is awesome!! The graphics alone are worth what you pay for the game. It has great weaponry (A Photon Canon- need I say more????), good AI, and the first-person POV gets you wrapped up in the game. Possibly the only con is that it is a slight bit short. It has only 12 levels, but at most do offer a substantial challange. Overall, EA did a great job on this game, and it is well worth the $$$.

Its an ok game, but this is no goldeneye.

Like Half-Life, the first player mode is fun...for a while. The secrets you unlock in this game are pathetic, and the multiplayer stinks because there are no bots. Still its good for a rental, the intense action is what kept me going... but soon I'll get tired of it and play something else.

Good game better than goldeneye by far

The single player of the game is awsome long challenging and you still get to put lead into some bad guys.
Multiplayer- awsome the levels are fun the weapons are fun to use and they even give you these suits that heal you make you invisible and more.
Pros- Good graphics, great multiplayer, and great variety of powerful weaponry
Cons- the controls are different but easy to get used to

So If you loved the james bond series of games then will love this game.

good game

I just recently bought Agent Under Fire and as soon as a popped it in the machine I was amazed. The controls are tricky at first, but they become second - nature. The graphics are incredible, the story line easy to follow, and the weapons and gadgets couldn't get better. The car levels are the best, although the first person mode makes it seem like your there. The cut scences are awseome, so is the sound, and the force feedback (vibration) on the control is also sweet. My one complaint is it's too short, but that is easily made up for.
