Ok but repetitive

i really like this game. well it could have more stuffm like btter cars time, like going to work for a day and go back home to fix the car once in a while getting gas filled. but that is really a problem the problem is this game is the exact same thing over and over again. first it does not have much, second the passangers are the same you start and the first you see is always going to the levis store, the one across the street always to kfc. if you take the kfc girl. across from the destination you will get the same passanger to the same location. and it goes on people are in the same locations time after time,
i don't think that random placement is to hard to program, well maybe it is. This is a good game still

Ok, I'll admit it: this game is nuts (not in the good way). The graphics are the best thing in the game, and they are mediocre at best. The gameplay is... um... DUMB! There are no objectives, no new drivers, no different cars, and the girl is um... STRANGE (we're gonna fly!), and the smiling black guy is too (hold on to your butt!). Aack! Most people like this game, but I don't. Another bad thing: they only pay you like this:

BASE: Depends how far to goal

EXTRA: When you do "crazy" manuvers (right...)

The license thing at the end of the run? What's up with that? It scares me.

I rate this 0.5 Stars out of 10.

This game is o.k. I would suggest you go with Crazy Taxi 3 (XBox) though. I don't know if Crazy Taxi 2 is on PS2 but if it is get it instead of this one. You will not regret that.

This game is a pretty good game though. But still go with 2 and 3.

this game is fun but seriously repetitive. ive only had it 2 days and i can see it wont be something ill be glad to play everyday, but don't get me wrong, it is a good game. just not something to own, unless you are a driving game fan.

I have to admit I wasn't a big fan of this game. I much preferred the Simpsons Road Rage (which is based on Crazy Taxi). While Crazy Taxi is certainly a fun and unique concept it gets old very quickly. The storyline is flat and the game controls are awkward.

Well, i thought this would be a spin from GTA (the ability to control mostly everything)...nothing like it. Every "mode" you select you have time restrictions. You cannot explore or do what you want. Basically, you're stuck having to pick up fairs and nothing else.

This game is so fun! It may not be good for little kids cause it has curse words in it. You have to drive people around within the time limit. You can be Gena,Axel,Gus, or B.D. Joe. The graphics can sometimes get sucky though.

HUGE potential, mediocre payoff = tons of fun for a 1/2 hour

I'd idolized Crazy Taxi in its arcade form, so when I saw several copies available at the video store, I greedily nabbed one for myself. Ultimately, this is the sad story of a game with HUGE potential but a mediocre payoff.

It's a visually interesting and fast-paced driving game with great physics and entertaining extras (passenger and driver comments can be quite funny), but there's no point after about a half-hour. After you've made 50 trips to the heli-port, the ball park, the church, and the KFC, you just can't take that stretch of road anymore. If you're not interested in getting tips or scoring points (which is mostly pointless anyway, since there are no additional levels to advance to), you can drive anywhere in the town, which includes in some cases to the tops of buildings and through parking garages. The "go anywhere" option is fun, but after you've explored the last of the long, looping train track tunnels, however, there just isn't much more to do. Glad my wife's got the Rent-Before-You-Buy rule.

If you loved the arcade, it's worth a rental, if only to get it out of your system. Imagine what Crazy Taxi could have been if you had the potential to advance your character, say, by starting out in Omaha and working your way up through Chicago to New York City! Maybe they'll add that for Crazy Taxi 8 (or so). Though the graphics aren't as flashy as Crazy Taxi, I highly recommend "The Simpsons: Road Rage" as an alternative. It's a game with a nearly identical concept but has a much higher replay value.

There is absolutly no point to this game. I wasted three bucks from renting down at my local video store when i was bored one after noon. This game is the same thing over and over and over again. And theres no point to playing because you cant open anything, its already all open. So save your money and go buy a good game for the same price like Final Fantasy X.
