Don't buy a playstation if your not going to buy this game.

This is probably the best game for the playstation. It has great levels, graphics, sound and everything else you can possibly think of. Ok, so the levels can get a little bit repetitive at times, but who cares! the graphics are stunning, it pushes the playstation to it's limits. Don't even bother reading those 1-star reviews, those people are probably freaks who don't know how to appreciate good gameplay. Although some of the gameplay is similar to the two prequels(which are also really great games), the graphics are much better and it is more challenging and compelling(yes i know what means!). If you are new to the fantastic world of playstation, then by this game! It is such a good game in so many ways. Don't by a playstation if you're not going to by this game!

This game was boring at first.But when I got past Midday Gardens I loved it.My favorite level is Fireworks Factory!If you like games with dragons this is the game for you.

Spryo Is The Number One Dragon

Spyro: Year of the Dragon is the best title out of the Spyro trilogies including Spyro and Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage. There's so much colorful and interesting characters. My favorite is Sheila, the friendly kangaroo from The Land Down Under. There's also a laser blasting space monkey and a yeti. Levels are graphically lush and it's great to see a Playstation game whose graphics are far superior to that of any other console.

This game is pretty fun. There are a alot of vehicles and playable characters. The only problem is that it is a bit too much like Spyro Ripto's Rage and Spyro the Dragon. My favorite thing is that you don't have to buy moves like in the second Spyro. If you like the Crash games, this game is pretty similar to most of them. That's pretty much it.

Spyro the dragon is a cool game. my favorite part is that you get to be different characters. i also like the parts where you can skate board. another cool thing is that you can be sparx as a character now. I think any one who liked the other Spyro games should get this one!!!

I bought this game for my 5 year old son who loves dragons. He really enjoys this game and says "This is the best Spyro game". Even my 8 year old son loves going on Spyro's adventures! A lot of other games have been difficult for the kids to control and manipulate so they would get frustrated and quit, but this one is just right. The graphics are great; I like to watch all of Spyro's adventures, and I just found out he skateboards too!!!!!!

I just purchased this game and our 4 year old son Zach, loves playing this game. He is especially good at gliding and finding the stolen dragon eggs! He gets a thrill from it not to mention that my husband also loves playing the game. It's a real neat game overall.

I just bought this game with my birthday money and I think it was well worth it. I'm rating this game with 5 stars because it's hard but not so hard that you don't enjoy playing it. I really like the characters in this game because they are humorous, and amusing. I really enjoyed this game also because the graphics. But the only thing is on Level one when you say bring someone back from each world and we will fix the balloon, and it's your fiest time playing the game you have no clue what they mean. But after a while you figure out they people or animals come back on their own.

In this game, you must play -- again --a s everyone's favorite purple dragon, Spyro. This time, Spyro must save the remaining dragon eggs from the Sorceress and her apprentice Bianca, before they use the baby dragons' magic to conquer the land. For a "small fee", Spyro teams up with Sheila the Kangaroo, Agent 9 the space monkey, Sgt. Byrd the flying penguin, and Bentley the Yeti to defeat the evil duo -- all of which are playable in their own home levels. Buy this game! You won't be disappointed!
