Should even carry the Final Fantasy name

If you've ever played the final fantasy series this game is horrible. The storyline is poor, the game play is horrible as well. I'm trying to give a balanced review of this game but I can't think of anything that I've enjoyed out of this game. I've played most of the games in the final fantasy series and Final Fantasy X shouldn't be given the right to be a part of the series.

If you want a good, fun video games, stay away from this one

While the graphics are good among the best on PS2 the game itself is long, tedious, and boring. Not the way video games should be made. What Squaresoft should do is stop making Final Fantasy a video game and instead continue making movies of it that flop, or books that no one will buy.

In closing, save your money for a decent game or buy this game and take destroy it in some creative way.

Ok, first of all, Final Fantasy X looked really really cool. I mean, when I looked at the previews and the characters and the TITLE, I thought that it would be a kind of adventurous, fantasy, game......but it dissapointed me! When the screen poped up with all these kids sitting around a fire {I didn't know what that was all about} it was kinda' weird. And the voice of that Tidus boy is kinda' funny. I mean, the boy, Tidus, is very good looking and if he were real I would fall in love with him, but his voice does not match his character. Second of all, what is with the giggling girls? OHHH, they are so annoying, I just want to hit them with the stupid ball! And what the heck is up with the fighting system? I mean the whole time you just sit there and hit the button ATTACK over and over again! Man I thought it would be some real fighting like in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers or even like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time {which is my ultimate favorite game}, but no let's just tap the X button over and over so the computer can attack it for us and then we can just stand there and get hit. I mean, man I would slice the heck out the monster or "Sin" or whatever it is! I am a video gamer who likes to actually play the game and actually fight rather than tap an attack button, watch a ten minute scene, watch girls giggle and watch a boy who can't fight like LINK. If you are a big fan of swordfights, going to faraway villages, solving puzzles, and actually using the sword yourself I suggest that you do not get Final Fantasy X {instead I suggest Kingdom Hearts if you like adventure and Disney}. The graphics were cool, but Kingdom Hearts and Ape Escape 2 has way better graphics than this game. I hold high respect for those who love this game and I hope you have fun tapping the X button. Don't get me wrong I had to get this out.

To start off, I think this is probly the worst game I have ever played. I thought the plot, characters, and gameplay sucked. I would NOT recomend this, because it can not keep up with Legendary games like the Resident Evil, Onimusha, and Devil May Cry series. Not only that, but I thought the whole Final Fantasy series was BAD. So buy a game worth buying, and get Resident Evil 3.

Final Fantasy X

You would think, people would get tired of chocobos and magic... etc... The game is a lot like the others, use magic to defeat a enemy whatever, its all the same to me.

Final Fantasy X is getting a lot of hype, will it live up?

Basically this game is going to turn out to be FFVII (be really good) or FFVIII (be a disappointment and be mediocre to some fans). The only thing I'm hoping from this game is for it to be better than Final Fantasy IX. If you want the truth from me, I don't think that this game will live up to the hype. When a game gets a lot of hype there are always a ton of people disappointed with the game.

Now I know a few things about this game. It goes back to the futureistic setting of Final Fantasy. To tell you the truth in the future there probably won't be as much "fantasy" as the medevil times. But thanks to FFVII I can say that I'm wrong.

What you should expect from the game is the fact that Sqaure got voice actors. This could be good or bad. It depends on how the voices react to tone and feeling. That what I'm mainly looking for. If the voices are good it could build interest in the characters.

Regarding the 50+ hours of gameplay, I can gaurantee you that I'll beat the game in less than that. There are still people who are convinced that Grandia takes 90+ hours and thats a load of bull! But with the gameplay I shan't be disappointed since it is sqaure and all.

The battle system has changed though. Its now a CTB battle system. I think that means Controled Turn Based battle system. That may cause a problem with me being that I've loved the ATB battle system. But I guess there has to be change at some point in time.

From my sources the story is not as good as FFVII or Grandia, but its a good storyline.

I can't say whether I recomend this or not being that I was disappointed with FFIX and hope that this can be better.

This is an RPG game, not action game.

First of all, this is the RPG game, its all about the STORY....STORY......STORY. So if you say people would get bored fighting chocobos and defeat the enemy with magic over and over again, then you're not following its story. I've played the demo, the graphics is amazing, in-game graphic is like FMV, you would not see the different. The voice, ah who cares 'bout voices, its great though. What else? Oh its for Playstation 2. Great.

I'm going to get this game. Then I'm going to play it the rest of the day. Who could get sick of this game? It's so awesome. Every Final Fantasy game that I've played has been awesome and this one will be too.
