Somebody says that video games makes killers and adds violence.
I disagree that comment because if that be a whole truth then I will be a serial killer. On the other hand, there are a little human group whom video games can make more aggressive but generally this sentence is not true.
Perfect Dark is one of my all time favourite games because it's challenging, interesting, beautiful, addictive, funny and awesome. One player game you have survive many missions which are not so easy at all. Use guns, your brain and be careful especially, if you play on hard or dark difficult levels. There are many humans and monsters who are trying to do you in! Be fast and smart girl because you have survive all these difficulties. One level you have to protect the president of United States and other level your mission is kill all alies.
Why I like this game so much? Because two-four player game is an unbeliveable great option! There are so much good weapons for exemple Slayer(missile that you can lead straigh to your enemy),
proxy mines ( blue mines that surprises your friend), "golden" magnum( one shot and your head is red).
You can play without computer players and your frieds!
You can lead computers players agaist your frieds!
You can choose your player clothes and head.
There are so many options that it takes many pages to write them down.
Finally, this is must game for all shooter/action games frieds!
(Notion! Don't take this game too seriously because you are killing only visual characters not real humans.)
The N64 Must Die!

After playing this game, I can't help but look foreward to the day when the N64 becomes obsolete. (As if it isn't already) Why? Because when Rare (a second-party developer who can't make games for other systems) puts out a masterpiece like this, the only flaws in the game are the limitations set by the hardware. Rare has put everything into this game that I had thought, "Gee, wouldn't it be cool if they did this in their next game" back when I played Goldeneye. The multiplayer experience is unparalleled (this coming from someone who never really joined the Quake III clique), and the solo missions are excellent, too, although I had more fun playing multiplayer by myself. I can only dream of what a blast it would be to deathmatch with three friends and eight 'bots, because the frame-rate makes the game unplayable with that many combatants. Like I've said, it isn't the fault of the designers, they're just extremely limited by the console. I can't wait to see what Rare will do on the next-generation system.
It has to be said, though, that the death cries of the bad guys in this game are absolutely ridiculous. "I don't want to die!" Honestly! Does anyone ever actually say that when they get shot to death? Another thing that disappointed me ever-so-slightly: I'm starting to get sick of the whole futuristic approach. It makes for some ugly-looking levels. Sure, there's plenty of extremely cool "Matrix Moments" here, but. . . it seemed like Goldeneye had a bit more style.

Perfect Dark is definitely worth getting if you want some pure, intuitive first-person shooting action. It also features a MULTIPLAYER MODE WITH UP TO TWELVE PLAYERS without some nasty broadband/narrowband modem disconnects or lag. Graphics and sound are smooth, with the great addition of VOICE EFFECTS! Great game to get, and the Mature rating is actually too much. It's actually not too bloody or profane, and the language filter helps out protective parents. GET THIS GAME!!
Overall: Great

I rented this game to see if I liked it and I immediatly thought that it was great. I loved Golden Eye and this game was even better. It has the same draw as Golden Eye but the whole game has more depth to it. Even though some of the solo missions are hard, there are so many other aspect to the game to play. The 'Institute' has a firing range and electronics lab where you can test your weaponry and technology skills. One odd thing I found aboud this game is I could only play it for short bursts of two hours or so, insted of being able to plays for hours straight. This is a little disheartening if you had a whole free day you wanted to devote to playing it. I'd say, if you liked Golden Eye, buy it.
Less than Perfect, but still alright

... DON'T GET ME WRONG- Perfect Dark is a good game. It just bugs me when people dub it Perfect. IT'S NOT. These reviews are generally one-dimensional and not grammerically correct. In my opinion, Goldeneye is better. If you are buying this as a Goldeneye substitute, don't. ESPECIALLY if you don't have an Expansion Pak. If you have played Goldeneye all the way through and are looking for something new, then go ahead and get this. Anyway, the point of this review is to prove that this game is NOT Perfect (You know as well as I do there are enough reviews to expound on the good points) So here's the list:
1) NO FACE MAPPING Ever since this game went into developement, Rare was bragging about how you would be able to put your face in the game. Then, months before the game is released, this FULLY FUNCTONING feature is pulled to appease the Video Ratings Board Gods. Nevermind that I would have never spent [more $] on a transfer pak and a Game Boy Camera. It just makes no sense to yank what would have been one of the game's best features.
2)CHEAP MARKETING Good. A game aimed at adults. I may be under 18, but I still enjoy "adult" games (get your mind out of the gutter ...!) But, Nintendo's "adult advertising" seems to me to just amount to bragging about how gory the game is (its not much worse than Goldeneye) and proclaiming that it will corrupt the minds of anyone under 18. I don't care what David Grossman says, I'm gonna play it anyway. And Im sure that's exactly what they want me to do.
3)Expansion Pak Required It cost me [more $] to get this game fully functional. On the other hand, it is the first truly "Controller Pak Compatible" game I've seen, as opposed to "Controller Pak Required if you want to save."
4)Sound mind The sound clips are endless and excellent and one of the biggest improvements over Goldeneye. It's just that, well, PC games have been doing it for years...
5)Children of a Lesser Menu System Only one choice is viewable at a time. Multiplayer games take forever to get set up. But, hey, you can save your setups and there are more options than you could possibly want. That's a good thing.
6)THE HYPE 'Nuff said.
7)EMPTY PLOT The best way to describe the plot is just a bunch of stuff that happens. You never spend more than 3 levels in a single area, so nothing developes deeply. You go investigate at the DataDyne skyscrape. Then you check out Chicago. Then, on an almost completely unrelated note, you head to Area 51. Goldeneye had a much better plot and a great atmosphere. This game goes too "futuristic." But there's still some good stuff here. Eh.
8)FEWER LEVELS Of the 21 levels, 2 maps are used 3 times each, revised slightly, and one is a duel that takes less than 20 seconds. But I like the duel. ... Get this game if you want, but please GET GOLDENEYE FIRST. I had more fun with it and it'll cost you ... less.

This game is great for girls who believe that we too as girls can be secret agents. This is a great game. Without the expansion pak, you can only do mini-missions. But they are still fun. However with the pak, you can go through the place where Joanna Dark works!! The more you work with the mini-missions, the more places you'll uncover. If you like this, you'll love Mission:Impossible. However those graphics are not as good.
Well done Rare

Perfect Dark is tied as my favorite game ever(along with Ocarina of Time, and it might move to 2nd when Majora's Mask comes out). The graphics are outstanding and the weopons, characters, storyline, options, and multiplayer are equally awesome. My only complaint is that it doesn't quite have the same level of stealth that Goldeneye did. Such as the Facility where you could sneak around completely unoticed for almost the entire level. Other than that small, almost unoticable flaw(depending on what you like;explosians or silencers.), it is...well...Perfect.
Perfect is veryu close

Overall quality of this game shoots past any other FPS to date. The only thing that could have been done better (and don't get hung up on this,) is that there is a lot of meticallic textures and not a lot of other varities, and the dubbing for walking sound effects are very similar regardless of what your moving across. BUY this GAME! You will enjoy it. The multiplayer is totally all-encompassing and configurable. I reccommend on a slow day 8 kazesims vs humans in the G5 building, Capture the Flag Mode. Adjust difficulty as neccesarry. Automatic Weapons -- CMP150, CYCLONE, LAPTOP GUN, K7 AVENGER, DRAGON, AND AR34
Great, But Goldeneye is Better

Great game; boards are great, but a bit too complicated for a shoot-em-up game. Controls are good, but Goldeneye controls are more responsive. Overall, this is a must-buy game for those fans of Goldeneye. Same production company means similar results, so buy it. I did.
Perfect for FPS Gamers...

I'm not at all a fan of the first person shooter but I found it impossible to ignore the hype surrounding Perfect Dark. I never really got into the game, being an RPG gamer, probably the exact oppisite of this genre, and never found a reason to continue after the second level.
Perfect dark was not a bad game, oh not at all. It's just not my bag, baby.
