Banjo Tooie is a brilliantly thought of game that was worth the wait. The name might suggest that this is just a continuation of Banjo Kazooie, but instead you get a whole new package which not only features all of the old moves and starting world, but is filled to the brim with new variations and lands like terrydactyland and a move called the breegull bluster. Also, the eggs you shoot provide a bigger role as grenade, fire, ice, and clockwork kazooie eggs are introduced. There are now two witch doctors, Humba Wumba transforms you into different creatures, and the veteran Mumbo Jumbo allows you to play as himself. This is a very comprehensive and beautifully thought out game. A must-bye for the veteran gamer.

Banjo Tooie is a good game i'll give it this much being a 13 year old gamer. But The Review on the buy details page is right it borrows from DK64 which stole its format from Jet Force Jemini only adding more characters and worse graphics. Now Banjo Tooie uses that formula with better graphics, has a huge adventure, and is really slow. Banjo is horrendously slow even using talon trot! The speed shoes help but well they only last 10 - 15 seconds. Get this game if u want to i sorta liked it but theres better options out there folks
WOW!

I like Banjo-Tooie better than banjo-kajoie because it has more abilities. My favoirtie abiliy is to disconnect the two. My favorite move when they are together is gand granade. All the eggs in BT are better cause they can defeat the enamies alot more quicker. Ever since I got the book I've gottten from Jolly Rogers L. to Cauldron keep in no time.
A great game. Yeah.

From the vague hint toward this game at the end of Banjo-Kazooie, I've anxiously waited for this game to arrive. It's been over two years, but now that I have Banjo-Tooie, it was well worth the wait. The worlds are huge. The characters are lovable (well, most of them, anyway). The bird is out of the backpack. It's all good. Just one problem. I have followed Banjo lore for a while, and Banjo-Tooie doesn't live up to my Stop-n-Swop expectations. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then this game is perfect. Goodbye.

I am a big fan of Banjo-Kazooie.I loved the first game so much,I played it every day intil I beat the ugly witch Gruntilda(Grunty).Mumbo Jumbo,Bottles, and the cute little Jinjos made the game great!
Ever since I found out 2 was out,I couldn't wait till Christmas.Complete with new levels, bosses, and characters this game is so much fun!Gruntida the Witch is back, with two new allies, her sisters.Banjo-Kazooie must kill the witch and bring life back to thier island. This game has great music,mini-games,and cool graphics.10 and up!This game is better than 1! I hope they come out with # 3!
A great game!

Banjo Tooie's biggest asset is the huge variety of things to do. It avoids being a typical sequel by tossing out original and wacky ideas, such as wierd races and kickball games, and most of them are fun to play through. Tooie really shines in all departments, with topnotch graphics and a well done musical score.
As with most Rare games, this one's practically perfect. Buy it for both the single player and multiplayer features and you'll be glad you did.
Even better than the first!

If you thought Banjo-Kazooie was good you haven't seen nothing yet!
For once Grunty's annoying (althought slightly funny) rhyming has been stopped by her other two sisters, Mingella and Blobbelda (who is acctualy fatter than Gruntilda ever was!). Kazooie is even more foul-mouthed than she was in Banjo-Kazooie, and Banjo is just as kind and dumb as ever. You can be Mumbo Jumbo in this wonderful game, and at last, there is a dinosaur level. You guessed it...You can be baby T-rex. Aww...You look upset. With some help from everybody's favorite shaman you can also be daddy T-rex!...And there is something about Kazooie being able to be a dragon...
Lots of the levels relate to the ones in Banjo-Kazooie. There is a haunted level (like in BK), a factory level (like in BK...kinda like Rusty Bucket Bay) and so on.
There are many more Jinjos to save, which, I think, is a great challenge. The transformations are even better (though you have to keep those doofy eyes...*sigh*)...And there is a wonderful multiplayer mode, and another where you can reply cinema, mini-games and bosses.
Yep. Bosses. Unlike Banjo-Kazooie there are at last some challenging bosses. There wern't any in Banjo-Kazooie, unless you want to add those bigger-than-normal baddies in a few of the levels...Such as Nipper. And the first boss is one of the hardest to beat, and the ones in the level-before-the-last (not counting the ones with Grunty in it), dragon brothers Chilly-Willy and Chilli-Billy are pitiful.
All in all, Banjo-Tooie is an all out great game.
I give it two thumbs WAY, way up!
Fun and challenging

This is a great game. It is different from the first game, the characters can separate and have their own skills. The game also increases in difficulty as you move up into the new sections. The whole family loves to play this game. Game on!
