Other than The Legend of Zelda games, this is N64's best

If you like Banjo-Kazooie or adventure games in general, then this game is definitely for you. It is leagues ahead of Banjo-Kazooie in many areas, including character control, gameplay variety, and overall level of fun. Banjo-Tooie's high quality soundtrack is fun to listen to: the theme music of the overworld subtly changes as you move into different areas. Kazooie keeps the game hilarious with all of her wisecracks and silly insults. And what is really neat for Banjo-Kazooie players is that the story line of Banjo-Tooie links to the original many times throughout the game.
The one downside to this great feast from Rare is the multiplayer. As with Donkey Kong 64, the multiplayer minigames are a bit dull, as if they were just thrown in so the game could be touted as supporting up to four players. But in spite of that, this is a colorful, rewarding adventure that is enjoyable to play, even in comparison to games for Nintendo GameCube.
The most creative title for a sequel yet

Banjo Kazooie for N64 was an exceptional game for its time, and still is great today. Banjo Tooie features the same game play as Banjo Kazooie, and picks up right where the last one left off. As you play through massive landscapes as the bird and bear duo, you'll pick up numerous collectables, learn even more moves, and defeat swarms of enemies. Banjo Tooie features the same graphics engine, and play control set up as the original, making them just perfect. The sound and music is updated, yet still contains elements of themes from the original. The game design too is exceptional. Though the system is quite similar to the original, the new elements make the sequel even better than the previous version. Banjo Tooie also features a great multi-player mode. With multiple modes of play, including first person battle, target shooting, and other forms, Banjo Tooie expands on the original in every way, shape, and form. This game is definitely worth purchasing.

I just got this game last week from Amazon.com (of course). This game is like the first one, it's fantastic! I would suggest for whoever is purchasing this game for a gift, also give the cheatbook along with it, you'll need it, heheehe. This game although it says 1-4 players, cannot be played in story mode with more than 1 player, you can do the mini game battles in 1-4 player though, but it's monotomous. Have fun with this one! Thanks Rare & Nintendo!! :-)

Do you know why Banjo-Tooie is a great game? Well, you will because, after you read my report you'll want it so bad you'd sell your house for it. You see, This game is about the evil witch Gruntilda resurected and she plans to drain the whole islands life force for her own along with her two sisters, Mingella, a skinny little hag, and Blobbelda who is just, not. You will learn tons of new moves like the bill drill and the egg aim, and this time Banjo and Kazooie and split up and do missions on their own. You'll get new arsenals like the grenade egg and the ice egg, not to mention the clockwork Kazooie egg. You've probably been wondering about those two eggs and that ice key right, well find them in Banjo-Tooie.
lookout Zelda, here comes a much better game

WOW!!! If you get this that is the only thing you'll be able to say about it. It's totally amazing. Not only is it much better than Zelda, Banjo-Kazooie, Donkey Kong64, but it has much better graphics then all of them combined. The plot is totally cool. These are why tou should this game instead of the games mentioned above:
1. NO ANNOYING TIME LIMIT WITH THE MOON THING 2. CHEAPER/DON'T NEED EXPANSION PACK 3. DON'T NEED TO CHANGE 5 TIMES FOR 25 BANNANAS PER LEVEL 4. 8 LEVELS INSTEAD OF FOUR DUNGEONS, OR KEYS 5. DON'T NEED TO BEAT BOSSES IF YOU DON'T WANT TO 6. LONG GAME PLAY 7. 90 JIGGIES INSTEAD OF 20 MASKS OR 200 BANANNAS OR 100 JIGGIES 8. MUCH BETTER GRAPHICS 9. MULTIPLAYER GAMES (14) INCLUDING SHOOTOUTS, CHALLENGES, AND QUIZ 10.JUST PLAINLY THE BEST GAME IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD
So don't waste your money for the others, this is the one and only game you'll ever need.

If Banjo-Tooie is as good as B-K, It's going to be great! Cool worlds, playing as Mumbo Jumbo, new animals to play as and a whole new story line! It's going to be madness! It's truly going to be brilliant!!!!!!

If you loved the original Banjo-Kazooie, stop reading and just order the game. It has more of everything, it's longer, funnier, and much more varied. If you need more convincing, be assured that this game is just about perfect. It's probably the greatest 3D platform game ever made, and that's saying something when your competition is Super Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64, and the great Banjo Kazooie.
What elevates this game is balance. It's more complex than most games of its type. In the course of only one level, you'll be playing a kickball mini-game, going at it Quake-style in a first-person-shooter boss battles, using stealth to steal treasures, flying through the air... you get the idea! But, you never forget what the core of the game is. The minigames are never too distracting. I know a lot of people had this complaint with DK64... too much character swithcing, too repetitive... Rare has remedied this by making each world complex, but not impossible. This game is fun, not frustrating.
The multiplayer games, while not groundbreaking add replay value, the story is great, the characters are hillarious, the graphics are eye-popping... what's not to like? It's a great family game, easy on the graphic violence, but fun for all. A must-have.

I bought this game for my 8 years old child. The game is really good. People who made it definately have a lot of imagination. However I believe that this game is hard for little kids and I would not recomend it for children under 8-9 years old. Moreover, if you do not plan to play together with your child make sure your child can read and read fast because this game involves a lot of reading.
