Cool Cars...Cool Game

This game is fun. It is fun to drive in cool cars, but it isn't the best game in the world that I have played. Everyone will probably like it, and so you should try it, but trust me, there are more enjoyable games out there.

I bought this game a couple days after I got my Xbox because I saw all the screen shots and read all the reviews for it. Boy were they wrong!! Whoever reviewed this game and praised it for being one of the best racers ever was smoking ... Sure I'll agree the graphics almost can't be beat, but I wanted a racer with more than just good graphics. I don't know what I hate more about this game, the repeatitive tracks or the cars that handle like a Mac truck. You can't hardly win a race in this game at all, not even with a fast car. I found the Beatle blowing me away in a Audi TT. This game doesn't even give you the chance to feel like you're racing because you are constantly slamming on the brakes to make another turn. Also dragging this game to the bottomless abyss is the inabillity to upgrade your cars...what the [heck] are the ... kudos for if you don't have to buy the cars (you win them instead) and you can't upgrade them!

If you want a fun race game buy Need For Speed: High Stakes for Playstation. The graphics might not be as great, but it's a fun game and you can upgrade your cars to make them look and performe like a car should.

What a disapointment. The hype is unfounded. The graphics are great, the gameplay is just average and boring. The game gets stale after a few hours of play. It's annoying that you have to unlock even the most modest cars.

If you are looking for a great racing game to play for Xbox than this is the game to play. You can chose from over 30 - 50 cars. But you have to unlock them all. When you do unlock them you can chose from a anywhere from a BMW Z3 Roadster to a Corvette Z06 to a Porche GT2 to a Ferrari F50. And when you drive them you can burn rubber with any car that you chose from the game. Or you can drive around or race in San Francisco, London, and Tokyo. It also looks so realistic when you turn the weather on to raining. The streets flood and when you go over the floods water shoots out from the back. And when you turn down the music in the game you can here the rain drops falling and you can even see them hitting the ground. YOU ALSO HAVE RADIO STATIONS TO CHOSE FROM. THEY PLAY ALL KINDS OF MUSIC. AND YOU HAVE A CD PLAYER TOO. WITH SONGS TO CHOSE FROM. OR YOU CAN USE YOUR OWN CDS AND PUT TI INTO THE GAME. AND CAN LISTEN TO THOSE SONGS WHILE YOU ARE DRIVING. And when you crash it looks so realistic. I encorage evryone out there who has an Xbox to be the first game you buy

This game is very well designed. The graphics literally stun you the first time you play the game. The cars are really detailed well, and the coats you can put on them look good. I din't give this game a 5 star rating for one reason, the game is too hard to beat. The first two levels of the game are beatable, but when you get to hard mode, it is what it is, hard. I can't beat all the cities on hard mode.
The Kudos concept is really cool. It is the first game ever that you get points for style. The first level of Kudos is beatable, but once you get past that it is just really hard.
I don't think i will ever be able to beat the game by myself, luckily i don't need to, i went on my trusty friend, the internet and looked up some codes. If you want to get all the cars and all the levels and open up the new mode "medal pursuit" all you need to type in when you select your name as you create a new player is "Nosliw" The game is very fun like that because if your really bored of losing then you can get the nice cars and drive them for a while then you can go back and try to beat the game by yourself with your real created player.

Think you got the skill to put a vette into a 180 slide while doing 120 mph? Give it a shot.

Project Gothem Racing is one of those games you play for an hour or two and don't know how to feel about until you wake up the next day and realize your hand is cramped from playing so hard.

PGR takes me back to the days when racing games were so addictive you'd wonder if you even blinked during the race. You'll find yourself so frustrated one minute then spouting off to your imaginary opponents the next.

PGR offers some unique little features like radio stations to listen to in the car with "real" dj's and a nice selection of music. But if that isnt enough, RIP your cds to your XBOX and make your own soundtrack.

How about trying to overtake 8 opponents in 3 minutes listening to fear factory?

Give this game a chance and you wont be disappointed.
