This game is simply eye opening. Beautiful graphics. Awsome gameplay. But of course every game has its flaws. The camera angles are bothersome. They tend to get you beaten up during certain fights. All in all this is the best game of the year. Definetly worth buying.

You Must buy this game. The difficulty is nail-biting but extremly rewarding. The camera was questionable at first but probably the best for this game. The creator himself said, basically, there would have been graphical colisions and much slowdown to have a more controllable or static camera. After hearing this I am reasured there was never a problem to begin with. This is the best action camera for a beat-em up.
This game is NOT like Dead or Alive (only Ayane, the Izuna drop, and the gorgeous graphics come to mind). The gameplay is suppriseingly like Soul Calibur 2.
Anyway get this game, it will teach you something about beat-em ups and games in general.
Absolutely Brilliant

The moment I started playing this game I was swept away. I only just beat it once through and already I want to play through again, and again, and again. The hunt for the 50 golden scarabs and the upgradable weaponry keep this game playable several times. The unlockable costumes also add replay value to an already incredible game. It's only downfall is inconsistency in the level of difficulty. The early bosses are very difficult, as compared with easier bosses later on. Overall, though, this game maintains a relatively reasonable level of challenge and definitely merits a purchase.
Best Ninja Game Ever

I've always been a huge ninja game fan. Games like Shinobi are some of the best games ever. Like Shinobi, Ninja Gaiden is a great video gmae. It has amazing graphics. Sixteen long and challenging levels taking place everywhere from small towns to big cities, everywhere from a floating balloon high up in the sky to the very depths of hell. You get a large arsenal of weapons. There are weapons for every style of fighting. You can use large warhammers which deals slow but powerful strikes, nunchaku which deal weak but swift combo strikes, or more balanced weapons such as the Dragon Blade or Vigorian Flail, which basically nunchaku with blades attached to them. There is also a wide variety ranged weapons. Though there are only shuriken, bows, and arrows, there are multiple types of bows and many types of shurikens and arrows. Such as explosive ones, armor peircing arrows, and giant boomerang shurikens (the windmill shuriken). You fight a large variety enemies, everything from futuristic soldiers to ninjas to zombies. You take control Ryu Hayabusa as he searches for vengance ever since his village is destroyed and his ninja clan is anhilated. You meet many different characters and fight many diverse bosses. Bosses like helicopters, demon samurais, and undead fiends.
This game may be challenging but it isn't too difficult. Every one complains about it being too hard, but it really isn't that hard. I've gotten stuck tons of times. You just have to keep trying. Once I got stuck on a boss and I thought about restarting the level from a different save point. Though I just tried one more time and I defeated that stupid fiend. Try new methods and if you're just way too fed up and stuck just look on the internet and find a strategy guide.
Overall I think that Ninja Gaiden is just a kick ass game. It has amazing graphics, great gameplay, and is long. I have to say it is one of the best games I've played.

WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO MANUALLY(use the right thumb stick)CONTROL THE CAMERA WHEN THE ACTION IS SO FAST, IT WOULDN'T WORK. AUTO CAMERA WORKS GREAT WHEN USING THE RIGHT TRIGGER/SHOULDER BUTTON TO AUTO CENTRE CAMERA.
Anyway this game is great because you get to do most things that Ninjas do(except stealth).
Recommended, but with reservations

I haven't finished Ninja Gaiden yet, but after playing it for some time I thought I would weigh in with my impressions of the game. First of all, Ninja Gaiden is based on an old Nintendo game, and even though its predecessors were more focused on puzzles and tests of memory, this one is pure action. There is no stealth involved. The graphics are very nice, though not quite as amazing as the hype would have you believe (Prince of Persia's are superior). The music was also well done, suitably atmospheric at the appropriate times. If you're easily frustrated, the game's difficulty could leave you throwing down your controller and crying out in rage from time to time, but if you're persistent, you'll find Ninja Gaiden can quickly become very addictive. The game suffers from two major problems, though, both of which are apparent immediately to anyone that has played Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, which shares many common elements with NG. While Ninja Gaiden is clearly superior to Prince of Persia in the depth and variety of its combat, the camera and fluidity of movement in POP are far better than NG's. The camera in Ninja Gaiden is placed too far behind and below Ryu, and during combat you're often find yourself struggling to just see where you're being attacked from. You can move the camera with the right thumbsticks, but this brings you into a first-person view and is impossible to employ effectively in combat. You also can press the right trigger to center the camera, but the necessity of doing so all the time gets to be very irritating. In Prince of Persia, you could move both thumbsticks together to move the Prince, and although the camera occasionally got stuck here or there, it was much less of a problem than in Ninja Gaiden. The acrobatics in POP were also more fluid and less cartoonish than they appear in NG, which also makes less use of them. Overall, I would still recommend Ninja Gaiden, but potential buyers should keep in mind that its problems are more bothersome than many reviews have previously let on.

Even with the book this is one of the toughest games out there. Save points are very far but its worth it. It keeps you coming back for another beating. I too have had to leave the game for the sake of the machine taking a beating. I wish you could set a easier mode because I wanted to see the entire game. I don't think I will.

This game is very interesting and challenging game. It makes you want to investigate and search for all you need to overcome and find what you need to be victorious. Is exciting and the different scenes can be a challenge to discover the path to the end of the journey.I can just immerse myself in the world of the ninja as I play. In all the game is fun to play.
