If you like super ninjas...

It flows so nicely better than anything I have ever played, better than soul calibur II better than any of the tekkens. Better than Tecmo's own DOA3. ITs a bit hard at first, but anyone who puts in a little time will get a lot out(I don't have any trouble at all on "very hard" anymore.) There is certian point when you learn the controll, the moves and the flow so well that you are amazed at at the game, and escentially you have become invinceble, its a very cool feeling. I think I'll play it now.

Let me start off by saying this is one of the greatest looking Xbox games to date. Not only does this game have a amazing visual apeal it has the substance to back up all the eye candie. Team Ninja spend year perfecting the stylish combat and it was well worth the wait. you will be decaptating foes with greatest of ease while stringing together 50+ combos while running and jumping off walls. it truly is amazing combat coated in jaw dropping graphics.

This game is richly detailed and has incredible graphics, but the difficulty may be too much for many people. I consider myself good at games like this, and I found the game very difficult on the lowest setting. The lack of any sort of training or tutorial doesn't help as even the first level is full of battle-hardened foes to challenge your skills.

The plot is fairly shallow, despite its attempt to create a "history", but nonetheless is cool and addictive. It never elaborates on key points, leaving many things left open, which is my major complaint. Basically, you are left in command of your clan (your father is off doing something else). This clan is responsible for guarding an ancient sword that is basically evil and actually grows as death and evil surrounds it. This sword is stolen by a Higher Fiend, and taken into the Vigoor Empire. Your mission is to retrieve it.

The game is definitely not short and is worth the money. The fighting is intense and strategic (button mashers don't waste your money), and the styles vary with your weapons (which are for the most part plentiful).

I highly recommend this game, as the down-sides do not come close to outweighing the benefits. If for no other reason, buy it for Rachel(?), who surpasses Lara Croft in "eye-candy" goodness!

Absolutely best ninja game in a long time. You've probably already read all 90 some odd reviews so I'll just say taht the camera can be annoying at times if only for the fact that at times you cant see the great action, but you will not lose because of it. It easily adjusts with the righ trigger, dont make that the reason not to buy this amazing game. Also the game is hard, but its still fun as all hell. I've died repeatedly on some occassions and still love playing over those parts.

This game rocks, I always read negative reviews first and can't say that I really agree with them this time. Adventure + Cool Fighting + Puzzles = great game, not to mention the visual and audio qualities. The controls are awesome, very intuitive. Maybe if they create another installment there will be stealth assasination included a la tenchu, but, I am not complaining, awesome game!

Man this game is TIGHT. I mean, its like... a ninja. Who kills ppl. w/ kick@$$ moves. Man I could play this game for 24 hours straight. The only thing that bothers me is how long it takes to defeat the first boss. Otherwise it rocks. If u have an xbox and u like fighting/good graphic stuff, get this or I will hunt you down and kill you like a little baby pig.

Amazing graphics and gameplay. I am not a hard-core gamer, and yes the game is challenging, but it is fun-challenging...not a bunch of lame 'jump-from-here-to-here' challenging.

Stop reading this review and get the game.

Best ninja game for Xbox

Unlike every other ninja game this one does not depend upon stealth tactics. This is soly based on how well you can use your weapon and dodge attacks. The first thing that you'll realized is the graphics. Unbelievable!!! Never have I seen more beautifully designed levels and characters. The next is the gameplay. Awesome!!! It is a compelling story line where Ryu (the main character) is seeking revenge against Doku (destroyed Ryu's village). While on your long and very tough (and I mean extremely hard) quest to find Doku many secrets and characters will intervene in the games storyline. As you have noticed I only gave it four stars, the reason for this is the lack of a more advanced tutorial mode. The game starts off with you at the bottom of a canyon and you have to get to the top where you will then start to battle. Some notes will be given on how to through some areas, but most is all on your own and trying to figure it out yourself. Once you get the hang of it though, you will not want to put it down.

Its a good buy, but if your not going to devote some serious time to it youll likely not get very far.

but it is still a fun game to play. I find myself yelling and saying how much I hate it, but I can't seem to put it down. The graphics are top notch.

The only thing I don't like about it is the camera angle. Can be difficult at times especially when you're trying to get away from enemies or jumping around to get something.

It's a great game. Beating it will give you a sense of satisfaction.
