Been a huge Ninja Gaiden fanatic ever since the old Nintendo days, and after seeing all the screens and watching a few of the videos all I got to say is WOW!!! I'm totally amazed, it's sure come a long ways. I've already Pre-Ordered my copy and anxiously awaiting the day it arrives. Hope they keep them coming, I'd love to see them create another sequel like they did with the Nintendo version.

This is a good game that is very entertaining so far. I've only been playing for a couple of days. It seems to offer a vast array of attack combinations as well as a large assortment of weapons. ...

The Best Game Ever - Hands Down

When you first begin to play this game, it can be EXTREMELY frustrating. Lot's of button mashing and no concept whatsover of strategy. The best advice I can give anyone who gets hung up or overly frustrated is to read one of the online FAQs for this game...because once you do this game will become the single most addictive and rewarding experiences you can have with a video game. There is only one con to the game and that is the camera - which sometimes doesn't let you see what you're doing or what's coming.
But other than that, this game is as close to flawless as any I have played...from the graphics, to the sound, to the gameplay, to the length, to the difficulty, to the replay value. There is so much to accomplish and so many ways and enemies to fight that the game never gets boring...it is extremely intense during all of the fights and extremely rewarding when you learn how to beat enemies without button mashing using the various techniques and moves to wield and/or avoid damage.
In the future I'd like to see a multiplayer version where you can have multiple Ninja's fighting against enemies.

To figure out how to play and beat these game may take a while but the rewards are great. Not only you will be introduce to the sick and peverted mind of the people that created the "fiends" (as they are called), you also get to use your BRAIN to get through all the chapters these game contains. To top that you get to own the trilogy that was created in the late eighties (early nineties), the best game ever created in two dimensions on the NES platform. So remember, it may take a while to beat the game but in the end you will be proud of doing so.
This game is fun but rough and tough like leather

Trust me when I say this, this game is extremely fun and unqiue once you get the hang of it. However one thing that will ease the difficulty of this great game is to have armlets that increase your defense. This game may be hard but it is never cheap if you always die then you either do not know the enemies patterns, your defenses are weak or you just suck at the game. Remeber this game expects you to have good hand eye cordination. When I first played this game I got my azz kicked by the first boss. Which is strange because the first boss is much much harder than the next three boss that you have to fight later on in the game. The main reason why this game is so hard is because the enemies can do alot of damage in groups and they are still intelligent and strong indivisually. This other then the difficulty this game is filthy this game has demons, soliders, mummies, dragons, a stereotypical sexy warrior chick and much more. This game has great platforming, a great frame rate and there are hardly any noticable glitches in the game. Even some of the puzzles are pretty fun. Even though this game has your (find the key) bid but even that is enjoyable. The biggest misconciption is that this game is bad because it is hard. You can't judge a game just by its difficulty people. I suggest this game to anyone with a xbox who is patient and is dedicated otherwhise don't purchase it.
I Prefer This Game Over Halo 2!

I'm not trying to discredit Halo 2. This is more of a preference. Is this game hard? YES! I'm on Chapter 3, and I worked very hard on this game to get there (I only had the game for a few weeks, only play it on the weekends). However I love the fact that the bad guys are actually smart, the graphics are stunning, and the game is very addicting. If you like action games, this is a must buy for your X-Box.

Well, I looked at the stats on my copy of Gaiden and noticed that I have played it over 125 hours total - at least 6 times through, including once on Very Hard. Yes, this is a very tough game, but worth every minute you stick with it. I don't need to repeat too much of what has been said previously: good graphics, great enemies, odd plot (but workable), awesome combat system, good acrobatics, (mostly) good camera. In general it is very well executed.
Although the price on this still hasn't fallen, I have gotten my money's worth...
An insanely difficult masterpiece!
