Too hard?

This game is a challenge but not too challenging. I have been playing for a week and I am almost done. All you need is the block button. No cheap enemies, they all have pretty simple patterns. The bosses can be difficult but nowhere near as hard as people make them out to be. Awesome game and if you are on the fence about buying it (like I was) because people talk about the difficulty (and you have played more than Mario games in your life)pick it up. I'm sure you won't be dissapointed.

Ninja Gaiden is the best adventure game on the X-Box today. It is a great game and there are so many different things to do. Let me break it down for you.
Graphics - 10/10
Sound - 10/10
Tilt - 9/10
Value - 10/10
Gameplay - 9/10
And you can play the other Ninja Gaiden games too, you just got to unlock them. The only reason gameplay got a 9 is cause sometimes the game gets frustrating but it is still a great game. Go get it now cause the Ninja Tournament online just started up this month.

Great game. Very nice graphics. It might take one a little time to get used to the camera viewing angle. But once the player gets comfortable with the view, the game's one hell of a ride. The feature that especially appealed to me was the fact that I did not have to hit 20 different buttons to make the character do a combo. The attack and defend modes are very simple. The games not though ;-)

Hello People! Whiners- Die. If you are saying the camera is messing you up- you are a liar. The camera has an automatic re-adjust, but the whiners want to make an excuse for lack of skill. The people who are only on the second level after 3 months, should use 1.combos and 2. Blocking and 3.Essence attacks. This game is the most entertaining game I've everplayed next to halo. Buy this game.

This game is unbelievable. I can't understand anyone thinking that this game is bad. This is the ONLY GAME ON THE MARKET worth the $50 that it MAY cost. I'd pay $70. Good games are few and far between and if you're one of those "this game is too hard" wimps you need to suck it up and be tough. Be persistent because if you aren't playing Ninja Gaiden, you're missing the whole damn boat. Fo' sho'. I've played through if a few times, and I don't plan on stopping now. I hope a sequel's in the works.

Ninja Gaiden is on of the best action/adventure games ever. Not to mention is has the most beautiful graphics out of any game on XBOX. When the games starts you are in about an 1800s japan era. The games then evolves into modern times which seems strange at first but eventually grows on you.
There are plenty of ninja's and soldiers to fight so there is never a dull moment. The bosses can be very tough so if you don't like too much challenge this is not for you.
I bought this game without knowing anything about and it was worth every penny. Highly recommended.

Pros:

- Incredibly deep/satisfying fighting engine
- Amazing production values
- Great cut-scenes
- Epic boss battles
- Skill-based gameplay
- Coolest Ninja character ever created

Cons:

- High difficulty might not be for everyone
- Some of the platform jumping sections are tedious and frustrating

this is a great game for people who are looking for a challenge. if you are looking for an easy game where you can just hack and slash your way through this is not it. you will have to use several differnt move combos to win. it is a little harder than i expected but it is certainly not boring. i have not had to use my brain this much in a game ever. the controls take a while to get used to but once you have the moves down you can enjoy yourself for hours.

wow, now this was a fun game. i'm so thankful that a respectable developer (team ninja) made a challenging game that isn't "cheap". yes, the visuals, controls, etc. are outstanding, but what i value most is the challenge & difficulty. the enemy is never cheap. they all appear difficult, but once your skills improve and you notice enemy patterns, you'll realize that every enemy in the game can be defeated in that time limit (the time limit that shows up when you have the scoring system show up from hitting the white button). after you beat the game once, try the game again from the beginning. you'll realize just how much better you are by easily disposing of these enemies that beat you down hard while you were just beginning to play. honestly, i'm depressed because no other action game i'll play for a very long time will come close to this awesome experience.
