"Medal of Honor" deserves Medal of commendation from gamers

If there were ever a game that simulates the opening scenes of 'Saving Private Ryan', this would be it. Think as if you were watching yourself playing the roles in that movie, only you are on your own instead of with a squad, and your target is destroy the first rockets instead of a single man. Had this game come out when the movie did, it would have been hailed as an instant hit, as the PS2 version did earlier this year.

This game is awesome

Medal of Honor: Frontline is the best game I have ever played. The graphics are totally real, the music is cool, and the whole game is fun. There is a wide selection of tight weapons and explosives from a Colt .45 to a Shotgun. There are many grenades, and the guns have heavy fire. The gameplay is very fun, the action of landing on Omaha Beach to the feel of infiltrating a Nazi camp in Holland. The characters are very normal, they talk their feelins just like a real person. The action is cool, too. The music fits very weel with the situation in the game. For example: In the level Yard by Yard, where you are in a town in Holland occupied by Nazis, when you are in the neighborhood the music is my favorite in the game, with the intense caction when the Germans are sniping at you from a high building. I know I've said a lot of things, but just to sum it all up, I think this is greatest game ever created.

The graphics are great. The gameplay is excellent. I'm so totally frustrated with this game. I'm halfway through Arnhein Knights, get killed, and have to start the ENTIRE level all over again. The weapons are realistic. The uniform details s incredible. I can easily get lost in this game and kill several hours.

The first mission is during D-day. Storming the beaches, attacking bunkers - again, the graphics and detail truly set the standard for future games. From the ground shaking to the barbed wire to the "Atlantic Wall".

My only gripe is not being able to save a mission during the mission. Games can be saved only in between missions.

The game is worth every penny.

Best MOH ever!!

I have been playing MOH games since the first one came out for PS1 5 years ago (you can read my review on it as well), and i can say from experience that this one is by far the best all around. MOH made the transition from PS2 to xbox with precision, and upgraded graphics. In this 3rd installment in the MOH series for console gaming, you get to partake in the greatest battle of any war in history, Omaha beach. From the opening sequence where you come off the sea transporters to the closing sequence where you help end the german threat in Europe, the game is exquisite all the way through. Unique weapons, and increased AI give the game the most realisitc feel of any MOH game ever. Level interaction, and the best graphics i've ever seen (courtesy of an upgrage through the transition from PS2 to xbox) in a war game make make MOH Frontline one of the best games I, as an experienced gameer, have ever played

I love it! I'm a 10 year old....

It is amazingly cool and realistic. The one improvement that they could make to this game is adding a cooperative mode. I recommend Medal of Honor because it is so real and the graphics are good. They even have the real guns from the WWII era including the tommy gun.

Great game with flaws

This is a really good game with a great concept. Reminds me a little of Saving Private Ryan. The graphics are good and the sound with Dolby Digital 5.1 is awesome. Sounds just like your there fighting in the war. You can hear bullets whizzing by your ears. The problem I have is that this game IS short. Real short. I beat it way too quick. But I still play it now so it does have some replay value. My advice is simple, rent it first- if you like it buy it. More than likely though, you'll beat it by the time you have to return it.

Medal of Honor Frontline is made by Electronic Arts and is made for PlayStation 2, GameCube and X-box. This review is based on the X-box version. Medal of Honor is a first person shooter. You are Lt. Jimmy Patterson and you start out landing on the beaches of Normandy. Your mission to help other troops move up to the sea wall. Including helping the soldier who is carrying the bandoleers so that he can blow a whole in the sea wall. After you get through the seawall you need to clear out some bunkers by commandeering a machine gun and clear out other machine gun nests.

Normandy is one of the 19 missions Lt. Patterson will have to complete. The final objective is to disrupt the HO-IX project. Run by Rudolf Von Sturngeist you need to follow him to the secret base and take control of the project.

I found the game very authentic. Historically and technically. With 18 authentic World War 2 era guns and Tiger Tanks. I found the missions very challenging.

Some of the screens were really dark and it was hard to figure out were to go because the path was not visible and I couldn't find my way. There is a multiplayer death match that can be played but I found it to dark and cumbersome to play.

But the games strengths lie in the one player game. The realism in the game makes it so worth playing.

I rate this game a 5 out of 5 stars.

This is a fun game, the missions are easy for the most part and can be beaten if you are willing to put any work in at all. It has a great single player mode that you can play for days without getting bored. I bought an XBOX 4 months ago and I'm still playing this game. It also comes at a good price and is only rated teen. Buy this game if you like FPS you will not be dissapointed.

its a great game but a couple of flaws

Its a great game to have but you might want to rent it before you buy.One of the flaws is if your like an arms length away from an enemy your bullets pass through him.If you can find it for less than 20 bucks (like on amazon)then definetly buy it.But otherwise head to blockbuster to rent it.
