This is a great game! The PS2 version was awsome, but the xbox version will be even better with its new multiplayer mode! This game is on the top of my most wanted games this year!

A must have for xbox owners

I'm the lonely xbox fan in my group of PS2 friends. I just played Medal of Honor recently on one of their PS2 consols and it is amazing. The sound is fantastic, the missions are realistic and thrilling and there is something about the controls that makes this the best 1st person shooter I've ever played (Dare I say it, even on the PS2 I enjoyed this game more than Halo). From what I've heard, the xbox version of this game will be slightly different from the PC and PS2 versions. The xbox development has been handed over from "Dreamworks Interactive" to "2015". The xbox version promises upgraded graphics and detail and the ability to play multi-player missions.

The PS2 version is amazing. The xbox version should be out of this world.

WOW

I recently played the PS2 version of Medal of Honor. It was awsome! Great sound (the best I've ever heard), graphics, missions, and realism. Here's why you have to get this game, and why the Xbox version will be soooooo much better.

1. ALL VERSIONS: Dozens of awsome missions, with wonderful graphics, crisp clear sound, and pure fun. Watch water spray up from the ocean when a bomb hits, see people react to how you shoot them. Hear sounds of true war, people yelling in pain and for cover, interacting with you. Bombs exploding right and left. Enemys who will stop at nothing (and speak in German *WOW* while doing it) to defeat you. You must turn the favor in this war to your country. Good luck soldier, your next mission is at 18 hundred hours.

2. Dozens of weapons to choose, dozens of missions to complete. The atmosphere of true war is brought into your living room. You can almost taste the dust settling over the ground after bombs hitting the beach. Cry with others as your men get shot down before your eyes. Cheer with your men as you destroy an enemy tank. Shoot soldiers with all sorts of awsome weapons. Anything from a handgun to a Sniper, it's all here!

3. Last, but not least, incredible replay value. Each mission is fun to play again and again and again. The CPU keeps your stats. Try to hit 80% of your targets, or beat the mission in less than 10 minutes. So many options, so little time! I can't wait for this. Can u?

XBOX VERSION: The PS2 version, as great as it is, is supposed to be nothing compared to the Xbox version. Multiplayer will be loads of fun. Better graphics will just increase the realistic atmosphere. This game will be incredible, and support what the PS2 couldn't. You have to get this game! Graphics, sound, gameplay, and incredible realism are just a few reasons. Play the missions over and over, and kick your friend's butt in multiplayer action. Keep your wallet ready, Medal of Honor: Frontline for Xbox hits stores in November! Until then, we'll just have to play our PS2 version.

Get this if you haven't played it before

This is an amazing FPS on all levels, regardless of what system you buy it on. Movie quality production values, customized controls..basically you're playing Saving Private Ryan. Amazing!

A pity EA deep sixed their plans to port Allied Assault over to the Xbox, so Xbox users could enjoy the vibrant online game that it has.

As it stands, this is the PS2 version with an afterthought-like multiplayer mode and a few refinements. If you already own the PS2 version or have played it before, there isn't enough here to warrant another purchase.

Medal of Honor's gonna be awsome

A couple of weeks ago I preordered Medal of Honor Frontline for Xbox. I can't wait until it comes. Judging by the commercial on T.V. I saw the graphics are amazing. It puts you right in the middle of the battlefeild. All of the weapons in this game existed in WWII. This games is going to be so realistic. I heard the PS2 version was good, but the Xbox version coming out is going to be even better, with it's graphics and multiplayer. This is definitly a game worth getting.

This aint not Saving Private Ryan

Greatness is something that transcends mere words, like what really makes a hero a hero, being in the right place at the wrong time and mearly doing what you have to do or volunteering to do the impossible, knowing the odds are against you, knowing that you may have to pay the ultimate price for something you've committed to do. Hero's are born out of honor and commitment; a heroic act rises far above our understanding or the understanding of those who commit them... we're talking about a video game right? Well, not exactly but as we are coincidentally about to, what does make a video game great, what gives one that illusive "Wow Factor!"? Does EA's Medal of Honor Frontline for Xbox have it, lets discuss shall we?
EA's Metal of Honor Frontline has been wrapped in the flag for months now, hailed as one of the greatest first person shooters of all time and I must admit, I fell victim to the hype and the demo's and as a veteran marketing professional, I can assure you I am skeptical and cautious about the choices I make based on hype but I have to admit, I fell for this one hook line and sinker. What we're led to believe about MOHF it that it takes us places few men with any concern for self preservation would dare to go, we're lured into the promise that we'll stand shoulder to shoulder with boys who became men of greatness yet what EA has managed to do is water down some of the most powerful events of WW2 into a video game and even as a video game it falls flat when transposed against all the hype.
The Achilles heal of MOHF is that it, like so many other decent Xbox games is a PS2 port, the graphics are murky and lack luster. The visuals are a complete disappointed compared to what the Xbox offers in so many other stunning titles; Splinter Cell, Enclave, Project Gotham, Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee or even the visually stunning but non-game Shrek. As a matter of fact the textures are just plain flat, Dreamcast could have easily offered much better so the fact that we Xbox owners rubbed our hand together impatiently waiting for this version of MOHF is a disappointment to be sure.
Game play is just that, game play; the immersion goes only as far as the next herd of Nazi's you have to mow down around every corner, although to be fair, the D-Day invasion is tense and (for a game) stunning, but beyond that it's all just simple run and gun, with very little concern for strategy and stealth, which at their basic levels are important factors in the survival of any man put to the test on the Frontlines.
Frame rates are solid and the musical score is brilliant, it could easily have been lifted from the some of the best features on the big screen but beyond that MOHF's use of one of mankind's most epic struggles as a backdrop is simply and sadly a gimmick dressed up in surplus military cloths like a bunch of ten year old kids playing war in the backyard.
Where a game like MOHF should at the very least make my guts turn at the notion of the high price paid by so many young men praying to just make it through another second alive not to mention home in one piece, it leaves me cold and empty wondering how those same boys that paid the ultimate price on those cold beaches would feel knowing teenage boys not much younger than themselves were making a game out of their sacrifice. And although paying the sticker price for a game like MOHF can hardly be described as paying the ultimate price, what you get for the money, sure does sting a little in the area around your wallet and I don't even get a Purple Heart for that.

ROCK N ROLL

It's no HALO

Major complaints are no system link play (multiplayer for only 4), nor can you play the single player mode with more than 1 player (unlink HALO where you can play with two people at once). I'm not that far into the single player game but I don't like that I have to meet a bunch of small objectives, it should be more free flowing like Battlefield 1942 on the PC.

Overall the graphics are great, and I did play multiplayer with two other friends and it's pretty good, but if you could play via system link with 8 or 16 it would be awesome. I would have give it 4.5 stars if it had the system link capability

This game is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
