I played this game at the E3 expo earlier in the year. It would have been very pretty if it had a consistent framerate, but that's something that I hope will have been cleared up by the time they release. Of more concern is the gameplay - I don't understand why this game has been hyped so much. The controls were horrible. First person shooters simply are not playable with a console joypad. Hyping the game and saying they've "optimized" the controls does not fix the fact that you can't move and aim properly without a PC-style mouse and keyboard. Since it's not even out yet I refuse to give it a 1 star rating - but please rent before buying. Note: This probably isn't one for the kids given it's rather violent content.

People that like play computer game this is a game for you.

Halo is going to be great on the XboX, according to NextGen it is going to be one of those games that will sell the system, the demo for the computer is great but they have completley re-vamped it for the XboX, get this game you wont regret it.

Its true that a keyboard and mouse is best for games like these, but if you get used to playing with a gamepad, you will find the game more fun. At first when I played Quake 3 on ps2, it was hard, but after I got used to the controlling, it was easy. Everything seems hard at first, but give it some time and practice and you will see results. If you still cant play with a gamepad then wait till they come out with a keyboard and mouse for xbox. If you seen the movies for this game, you know that its really not only the graphics that make this game good, its the real life physics, animation, sound, story, and A.I. that makes this game so good.

Wow there says it all right there,A waste of money ...O wait were talking about Halo am I right...A game with excellent graphics,1st and 3rd person shooter mode,Vehiclur combat,I guess I should keep my mouth shut then because its going to be a great game...This isn't just for Halo it's really funny how anyone who couldn't afford an xbox gives it a bad rap...I got a few words for everyone out here ...Microsoft is in the gaming comuntiy now there not leaving and there going to make The best games anyone has ever played as Halo shows right here.

The game on xbox titled Halo on XBOX.Is a good game if you like to play shooting games this game has good graphics and also has a 1-4 player mode so you can play against your friends if you like action games then got this game.

This game has everything a Hardcore Gamer that likes shooters want. Weapons, stuff to kill and a car to drive!! You can like shoot while the a computer player drives your car!! You can also let your friend drive it for you!! Buy it as soon as it comes out!!

Forget all you computer NERDS out there who are so OBSESSED with First Person shooters on your PC. You should stop thinking that consoles dont have the "right stuff" for that type of game. Well the point is Halo will be the first person shooter game of the year, no question.

Here it is, the system seller. Halo lets you infiltrate enemy bases, either with computer AI or with a friend. And not only on foot, but you can also jump in and out of military vehicles on the fly with no load times or pauses. Add to that an incredibly atmospheric and dynamic Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack, and you have a must buy war fps/vehicular combat game.
