HALO: The best reason to own an Xbox

So, I know you are fishy about the XBOX. Everyone is. But, you only need one main reason to own an XBOX, and that is HALO. HALO is the best game ever. Period. It is so realistic, fun, challenging, and just plain cool. So, drop all of your speculations and go get an XBOX, if only for HALO. You'll thank me later.

This game is the best game I have ever played in my life. And yes I have played this game. The graphics are out standing. The multiplayer section is great. The single player mode almost always has somthing going on between tring to stay alive and tring to keep your dumb friends alive, You've got your hands tied.
I have never played a game that allows you to communicate whith your team like this. There is alomst a constaint flow of communication with the other guys. Mostly you don't talk but it is still cool.
When your soilders get shot it leaves a puddle of blood. Same with the Covenent soilders. ( The aliens) And in later levels the dead Marines that are dead come back as zombies. They either hit you or blow up right next to you to cause damage
There another hundred things I could say but it would be to long. Let me just say GET THIS GAME!!!!

If you are good with video games, buy this. NOW. The control is very advanced, but if you can do it it its sooooooooooo much fun! Every mode is awesome!

I was unsure of whether or not to keep the xbox that I had just bought, but when one of my friends told me about HALO, I was just dying to see. As soon as I saw the beautiful textures, and the realistic environments, I knew that this console was for keeps. Also, other elements of gameplay were extremely impressive. Such elements included the intelligence of the AI of both allies and enemies. Also, with devastating, beautifully designed weapons, this games is superior to any other shooter on any other console. I rate this game at five stars because a game of this caliber just doesn't deserve anything less.

WELL AS FOR MYSELF I HAVE OWNED THIS GAME SINCE IT CAME OUT AND I DOUBTS ABOUT THE XBOX BEING A SUCESSFUL CONSOLE BUT I MANAGED TO GET THIS GAME AND IT TURNED OUT GREAT THIS GAME HAS A GREAT STORY LINE AND ALL OF THE OTHER STUFF THAT THE OTHER REVIEWS TOLD YOU. SO IF U WANT TO GET THE XBOX THE IS A GREAT REASON TO GET IT SO THATS ABOUT IT

This is one of the finest games I've played. I bought the xbox 4 days ago and despite a really busy life in the real world, I've MADE time to play this game.
I was a fan of Bungie's games in the past - Marathon, and Myth - and Halo not only doesn't dissappoint, it's really several notches better than my already high expectations.
The care, thoughtfulness, cleverness, programming expertise, and artistry that went into this game are abundant.

A+++!

Never and my 10 years playing video games have I experienced a game as good as this one. I never wanted to play DOOM or Nuke because I thought those games had no point.I hated these shooting games....Now when I played HALO I couldn't belive how good this game was. I felt as if I was there killing these aliens. I will consider this my favorite game. It use to be SHENMUE but this game changed my mind and many ways. I would strongly consider HALO for Xbox. YOu will not regret it

In a phrase, it's awesome. It was the first game I got for my Xbox and I loved it! I've finished the campaign on easy... but, it wasn't that easy. The multiplayer is amazing but the one-player is even better! If you're hesitating to get this game, don't!

This game is great. Apparently, the people who don't like it just don't like great graphics, great gameplay, and great multiplayer. The game has superb graphics, just as good as Quake III. The game is pretty huge with almost no loading. Can you say DeathMatch??? Constant 60 Frames Per Second w/ 4 players on split screen. This is impressive. I think back to how impressed i was with Goldeneye on the N64. That was a revolution, and so is this. This totally outdoes any Quake for Playstation 2 or Dreamcast, with much higher frames per second to boot. This is a must have for all people who like First Person Shooters. If you don't like them, then don't get it. It's as simple as that. I am hooked. Already had some pretty intense deathmatches with my friends. Also, you can drive like 4 or 5 different vehicles, all of which have many different capabilies. The humvee type vehicle lets you pick from 3 different places to sit on. Either driver, passenger who can shoot at enemies with his weapon, or gunner that can use a very sweet high powered chain gun to mow down enemies while another player in multiplayer drives it. Imagine being on a team of 3 people... all on the same vehicle, doing different things. One driving, one shooting ground targets, and one shooting air or ground targets. That's some firepower. Nuff said! Just buy it. Stop wasting your time reading reviews and take my word. I have been playing video games religiously since I was 6, or since the Nintendo hit shelves so long ago. By the way... I still like Nintendo BEST!!! GO GAMECUBE!!!

This game is totally awesome. I mean, or course, it takes a little bit to get use to playing a FPS on the console, but once you get through that, it rules. The story rocks, the graphics rock, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it except that there aren't any bots for multiplayer. That's only a tiny loss, however, since the single player game is awesome anyway.
