What a game!!!

This is by far the best video game I have ever played! The graphics are amazing, the campaign is challenging even in co-op mode, and the Quake-style player vs. player deathmatches are as much fun to watch as they are to play. In short, this game is a must-have. Period.

I was lucky enough to get an Xbox due to someone not picking up there advanced order. And got halo to go with it. A weekend later I'm still playing that game. It's just incredible. The grafics will blow your mind and the controls are excellent. And being an old school PC player it's nice not ot have to worrie about patching and video drivers to get the best visuals. This game alone makes buying the xbox worth it.

This is the only game to compare to one of the best games to date-Half Life. The story is really great and has so many plot twists. I'm kind of mixed on the graphics, sometimes it looks not up to par on the xbox standards and other times i'm staring at the grass looking at every single blade of grass. I'm so glad that some designer was not afraid to design a game where a space marine doesn't run around with 17 weapons strapped to his back. 2 weapons at a time adds so much more strategy to the game. Multi-player co-op was great. Even single player you feel as your a team along side your computer marine allies as they assist you and vice-versa. You can jump in a vehicle drivers seat and drive, you can jump in the passenger seat and shoot your weapon, you can jump in the rear and use the equiped gun, it's awesome, although i found the controls for the warthog very hard to get used too. I happened to crash a warthog (ATV) and it fell on top of the gunner in the backseat and killed him. Huge enviorments and levels, great weapons and story make this a must have. If you liked Half Life then you'll also like this.

I bought this game along with my X-Box package because I had read so many good reviews about it...and it was worth it! The graphics really prove why the X-Box is gaming in an entirely new dimension! This is like being part of a high-tech movie! This game is a MUST HAVE for all X-Box players! Worth every cent and it lives up to all that was said about it! You won't be dissapointed!!!

This is without a doubt the game to have for the xbox. This is really the only reason to get a xbox at this point. Ive had 2 friends come over and play Halo and immediately seek out a xbox to purchase. This games graphics and gameplay are so far and above anything in it's genre that it sells this system. If you own a xbox and do not have this game, your doing yourself a disservice. It looks like it should be on your computer with its rich graphic and uncompromised gameplay. I only wish I had a mouse and keyboard to play it. The other games that came out at launch are far inferior to Halo. Quit reading this and order it already.

I have played a lot of first-person shooter games in my life ranging from Wolfstein to 007 "The World is not Enough", and this is probibly the best one I've ever played.This game has so much detail its not even funny, whether it being him actually reloading the clip on the assualt rifle,to the noises the Covenant make when you shoot them.it has a great story behind it, and really cool and actually challenging levels. you get to use a very wide arsenal including human and covenant weapons.You also get to drive in some vehicles including wharthogs,tanks,and Covenant hovercraft.ina sense this is a must have for Xbox. Microsoft really accomplished something when they created this.

Buy it!!!!

This game is awesome. The graphics...the game play. Everything is perfect. This will be the game for XBOX. The game play is great. It is not a boring game. There is something always going on. Buy it!!! It is worth every penny.

This game is like a movie that keeps getting better. I never thought a game would suck me in the way this has. Everything about the game is original. The AI is amazing the way it tries to outsmart everything you do. You actually have to think, because if you die and start over the enemy is completely different in tactics. You also have to swap guns and be a sniper. There is so much more that you do that its hard to explain it all without ruining it for you fans.

I bought an X-box pack from Amazon which had three games (Munch,Dead or Alive, Halo). The first game I opened was HALO. I haven't got to the other games yet. This game is super fun and so realistic that I haven't even thought of opening the other games. You actually feel like you are in the game and if you watch the game it looks like you are watching a movie like Titan AE. My friends and I ussually don't play video games but we are all addicted to the x-box because of HALO. If you don't have this game get it it makes the system worth it.
