This is one of the best Sonic games out there! The great thing is it's great in all aspects including music! the levels are fun yet challenging and there is a great replay value that wont leave you bored when you finish the game. There is a huge variety of players, attacks, and levels! If your looking for an action-platform-adventure game GET SONIC HEROES NOW!!!!

a lot of people complain about the 3D Sonic Games, but Sonic Team has listen(for the most part). The game is mostly based on pure speed gameplay, though it sorta chages depending on the team. The new three character system is a nice twist, though tough to master at first, and there is also a tutorial that no one seems to bother mentioning. Furthermore, the game also tries to go back to it's root with Chaos Emerald collecting which are required(as in the previous 2D Sonic Games) to see the final part of the game. In addition, each team is different with their own difficulty level and team chaotix is more adventuring platform. Also brought back are Rankings and Embelems. This all adds up to a nice game, but like every game even those that claim themselves as a masterpiece: IT HAS ITS FLAWS.

First off, while I said the three team method is cool and everything, it is also sometimes confusing and you can't switch in mid-air. This game can get hetic(especially with team Dark), and sometimes the camera can confuse(which has been a problem as well in previous 3D Sonics). Also while each team is different, it's really about length and Difficulty which varies from Team Rose (easy) to Team Dark (tough). Furthermore, Team Chaotix Mission's can be very long and Tedious. Also despite the easiest team being there, this isn't a piece of take, it can take a couple to dozens of tries for one level or boss, and that can happen for a number reasons (mentioned in this reviews.

However, this should not deter you from the game, it is a nice change of pace in gameplay and difficulty. The music and voices are great, though you can't switch to japanese and some of the english voices are annoying. Plus if you are stuck you're team mates might give you a clue of what to do.

Sonic Heroes is by no means a perfect game, but does a nice job of changing Sonic's direction over some critics. If you like the 3d Games I recommend this, if you don't then atleast give the final version a shot and see for yourself.

there are 4 teams teams team sonic (sonic,knuckles,tails) team dark (shadow rouge e_123-omega) team rose (amy, cream,big) and team chaotix (espio the charmeleon vector the crocadile and charmy the bee) Play Good or bad Sonic or Shadow in a inceredible inventurure! Game Cube Games can't get much better than this one!

This game is great. The character switching is easy, the levels are really straight-forward (okay, not the pinball levels, which I hate with a passion), and it's easy to learn. Now, go! Go to the store, get this game, and play!

Sonic Heros is definatley a fun game! You control 3 guys at the same time, in each team there is a fly, power, and speed type. You have to use them all ot complet the level. Being a platform game, you upgrade ur guys every lvl, but they lose their lvl ups on the next lvl. This game is good, BUT IT DOESNT HAVE A CHAO GARDEN...THE MAIN REASON I GOT IT! CHAOS RULES AND I SUGGEST U BUY SONIC ADVENTURE 2 BATTLE NOT SONICE HEROS!!!

I've been playing Sonic since the Sega Genesis. Sonic Adventure (one) with the Dreamcast was an excellent game that I now play every now and then on the Gamecube.

Sonic Heroes. Unfortunetly, there a richness lacking in this game. Its still, to be sure, quite a decent game and the "team based" gameplay is an excellent new direction for Sonic, however there are still issues that need to ironed out -- especially the camera angles.

If you are an existing Sonic fan, then you'll enjoy this game overall. If you aren't, then you may be a little disappointed.

why is the avearge 3/5 ?????

Sonic hereos rocks the avearge should be 5/5!!! Well there are some down sides like no chao garden sega if you are going to make another sonic game you should put chao garden i mean half the fun is chao garden. AM I RIGHT OR AM I RIGHT?

The graphics deserves a 4.5/5

game play is 4/5

the chetcodes for this game are not so good it deserves a 3/5

the story is cool 4/5 (in my opinion)

the levels are AWESOME 5/5

the difficulty is good it actually depends on the teams Shadow is hard. Rose is easy.Sonic and Chaitrox are medium.
so about 4.6/5

but it has some tweaks 4.5/5

So over it deserves a 9.8 it is worth 50 bucks SO BUY IT SONIC HEREOS ROCKS PEACE OUT

Sonic Team Finally Makes A New Sonic Game

This truly is a fun game. It will take a little while for you to get used to the controls, but once you've played it a couple times it'll make sense. I have found that the camera gets very annoying once you try to adjust it. That, however can be altered by switching characters. Also, Sonic Team has certain points set in the game that automatically changes the "lead" character for you. this can slow you down a lot in the game. Also, when you play as Knuckles, you have the puch ability, but there are areas in the game where you must play as Knuckles where his attack can be rather difficult to opereate. In other words, in points that you are meant to go fast, you go insanely slow. All this is relative i might add, but it will still tick you off. I love Sonic and I love these games, but it really makes me angry when Sonic Team REFUSES to learn from their mistakes. Sonic Adventure was plagued by a horrible camera, and SA2, SA2B, and SADX all had the same problem. If something doesnt work the first time, it ain't gonna work the next. But seeing as how I've played this game, I can tell you that I'm gonna buy it. The pros outweigh the cons. I only wrote that stuff so you wpnt be to suprised/angry when you play it yourself as I have done so so many times.
