I got this game expecting it to be another old sonic game. but when i started to play it. MMMMAAAANNNN it was awsome!!!!!!!!!!!! i reccomend this game to whoever like sonic!!!!

... i liked it! Tough it was only a two leveled bugged demo a friend of mine managed to download and play on his computer (how to people manage to do this?), Sonic Heroes is defently one of the many titles im gonna buy in 2004. I cant say much about the gameplay, cause the thing was pretty much in its under heavy construction. But, i imagine the final title will be a huge blast. In the "demo" i was able to play as Team Sonic (tough i couldnt do any of the formations, like playing as Tails or Knuckles due to the controllers wouldnt work properly), but what i played was fun and addicting. I would highly recomment people to buy the title as quick as it becomes availble.

I bought Mario Kart: Double Dash so I got a bonus disc and I was very excited to find Sonic Heroes as a choice. I am absolutly addicted to playing the same 2 levels over and over. With 4 teams of three to choose from (Go team Dark:)!) Sonic Heroes looks like a fabulous game. I am also very interested to see how Shadow has returned and who this new mechanical menace is.(Metal Sonic perhaps? Upgraded?)

Even if I only have trial, IT IS THE BEST GAME EVER
I cannot belive you have said it is a disgrace on the game "8- year old gamer". Anyways it has good graphics it is good about the 3-play. I think #8 is the hardest one. I love the game and when I get on summer holidays I will be excited.

After picking up the Sonic Mega Collection to experience the classics I never owned years ago, I decided to shell out for a new 3D Sonic game to see how the character had translated to 3D.

There's a lot of good stuff here. When the characters pick up speed and start flying every which way, you're instantly reminded of what Sonic is really about. The levels are nicely varied, and some like the obligatory casino pinball stages are fantastic to look at and play through. The framerate never dips, and the levels guide you along on a set path without ever making you feel confined. Sonic isn't Mario, and subjecting him to exploratory missions wouldn't feel right.

However, Sonic Heroes will also test your patience. The team idea of switching between 3 characters is novel, but constantly rotating between them gets tiresome. Also, having four teams feels a bit unnecessary. Everyone wants to play as Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, and Amy and Cream are decent additions. But the alligator and bee? A bulky robot and an oversized idiotic cat? It doesn't help that Sega went with the voice actors from the 4Kids Sonic X series, who seem to match their roles appropriately but speak in shrill, high-pitched tones (and speak they do...the characters can't seem to shut up sometimes). There are other, technical annoyances. Some levels seem to guide you through on auto-pilot, while others have you line up odd jumps that have you falling to your death (the rail canyon stages). Also, at an average of 5-6min per level, you're left wondering if things will end soon. I know Sega wants to extend playing value, but I'm not sure if this is how to do it.

I've actually ended up listing more bad than good here, but this is still a fun game. The sense of speed and wonder outweigh the game's flaws, and it's worth the investment as a player's choice value title. It's a nice diversion from the more expansive rpg and adventure games in your collection.

Sonic well do you like sonic you must if you are reading this reveiw... if you are thinking of buying the game but you just need a little bust im here to help just think of me as a fan sence i was able to speak im the one you would come to about soinc I KNOW EVERY THING but if you have qusetion about any RPG or action-adventure games just E-mail me

Ok i was a little worried when sonic was comming back not that i had a dout but the idea was NEW but if you ask me im in on the idea on a SONIC RPG that will be cool but its just an idea the consept of this game is to work with you partner and get through the levals as a team (thats how you will succed in the procces of the game or else your preety much on your own) PLESE dont play the demo it sucks try the real game alright enough small talk lets get down

Sonic team- it start off showing soinc ripping trough the cannoyn like a nija (NIJA) sweet. then you see the tornado(sonic plane) chasing after him then wouldn't you know it tails and knuckles inform sonic that egg man is back and with a vengence... thats when the game kicks off...

Shadow team- first of all rouge surely made an impression in soinc adventure 2 because she is back and looking good just like in battle 2 she is up to her old tricks robbing Dr.egg-man not that that is a bad thing but you know how it is ... she stumbles on to a hidden room deep under ground egg-man hide out.. she finds SHADOW in a capasul weired
right she finds a way to open the thing and THE ULTIMATE LIFE FORM IS FREE ONCE A AGIAN right when she opens the it shadow walks out in daze not knowing anthing...when... guns start fireing every where turns out its some dumb robot but it is sweet when shadow starts walking and running an the wall like NIJA-spider man yeah he can stick to the wall... well i dont want to ruin anything but you have to find out your self

This may be the best game of the year already. It is not hard and frustrating, its challenging.

Pros:
12 charecters to choose
the same breathtaking graphics
the camera has improved but its still not perfect
longer levels
new characters
more 2p battles 2 choose from lol

Cons:
Graphics arent as good in 2p as they are in 1p
2-3 of the levels are frustrating(team darks)
no chao

dont mind the cons. they are only minor

The following review is from my 8 year old son.

This is a great video game! It has many levels of zones. You can listen to music after you get the gold ring. It has two player modes that you can win after you get twenty elumbs. You can have all of the two player modes after you get 120 elumbs.

im a huge sonic fan who likes mario,sonic,bomberman and other cool videogame characters.This is the best sonic game ever and probably going to be the most supersonic adventure yet.if its 4 players its even better.There is going to be a sonic heroes2 later trust me they always make a 2 for the best title games.the main game im going to get in 2004.Got to get mario kart double dash and most of the other good games first then ill get the big cheese.whats that sonic robot in sonic heroes.a secret team.supersonic-hyperknuckles-supertailes.Bring it on
