The only super cool thing about this game is the improvement in the animation. I really didn't like having to play every level four times through. It was sort of cheap. At least in Sonic Adventure 2, each character got their own level. Plus, the only difference in playing the same level as a separate team, is the difficulty rating (except with Team Chaotix, where your objective is to search for coins). Another issue- the Sonic Team still seems to be having problems with angles; I died a lot because my teams got trapped in a bunch of walls. However, both of these flaws would have been completely excusable if the story hadn't sucked SO BAD. Sure, the plot line in Sonic Adventure 2 was corny, but at least it had a beginning, a middle and an end. Plus- it related to the levels. There is a level in Sonic Heroes where you go to a haunted house and it is kind of fun but, what in the world does it have to do with anything? And MAN! Shadow... they didn't even explain how he some how came back from the dead. I thought that was really stupid seeing as how, I waited two years to see him in the next game with hopes for an interesting story-line that, would explain his return. That kind of threw me over; They ripped me off on Shadow and forced me to play as Amy, Big, and Cream. These three characters are so annoying and I hate their voices! I highly recommend setting the voices to japanese before play this game. (...)

Sonic Heroes is a very good game! Any Sonic fans should love it! Its a little tough but still not that bad unless your using a tough team, and remember, your only using a tough team if you choose to, because you can pick from certain teams! So remember, its another Sonic game with that blue hedgehog that runs real fast and those other cool guys (knuckles, tails, shadow, rouge, everyone!!!!) except you team up this time and get to use more than one character at a time instead of just one!!!!

then to top that off theres 14 new stages, theyre longer and more detailed and when you beat it you can unlock cool stuff too!!!!
tyhe graphics are the best ive seen in sonic yet also. so yes i recommend this game i say if you like action games, sonic games, fast games, fun games, any kind of games like that this is a must buy or at least rent!!!!!

because its a GOOD GAME !!!

Besides Sonic 3d Blast for the Genesis, Sonic Heros (for the Gamecube) was my first experience with Sonic in 3D. I was blown away at the stunning graphics, and the smooth animation.
Now the game play is very different. Very hard. You now control 3 characters at once, and you just cant run into a loop and automatically make it, you have to follow through on the directional stick (turn it 360*)(gc).
The levels are VERY long and take forever to complete.
Making up for the gameplay is once again a superb soundtrack of cool, catchy tunes.
If you are a hardcore Sonic fan, please buy this game.

Hmm, earlier this year, still on non-ports, Sonic Team have created Sonic Heroes, a new Sonic game that focuses on Team based game play. It's a good idea, and last year it received quite the buzz because of it. Here's the review.

The story all depends on who you choose first. As Team Sonic Eggman has a way to take over the world in 3 days so you have t o stop him. As Team Dark Eggman trapped Shadow in a pod and wants to get revenge, and so do Rouge and E-123 Omega. As Team Rose Amy needs to find Sonic, Cream needs to find Cheese's brother and Big needs to find Froggy, again. Team Chaotix have a mission from a suspicious client and can pay big money.

Ah, the game play is the greatest. To begin- Ok, you are running in speed formation (Sonic, Shadow, Amy or Espio), and you find enemies. You could use your Homing Attack to take em out, OR you could switch to Power formation (Knuckles, Omega, Big, or Vector) and use their abilities. Then you find airborne enemies. Again, you could use the Homing attack, OR you could use your Fly formation character (Tails, Rouge, Cream or Charmy) to bring em down then switch to Power to destroy it. It's awesome.

The graphics in SH were made by Renderware, which allows you to push more polygons in a game. GTA Vice City used it. So decided on good or bad yet? Well take some time to think about it.

The sound effects are really good and improved over SA2. The music's pretty catchy too. I like Sea Gate's BGM.

The extras are The Last Story, Metal Suits for all teams and that's it.

Multiplayer is a load of 2P games that you could have a tournament with, but I want
to keep them a secret.

The bottom line is that Sonic Heroes is my favorite of the 3D Sonic, and it's also the best in my opinion. Get it if you're a sucker for originality.

Team Sonic, Team Dark, Team Chaotix, Team Rose!

This game is great, play as 3 characters! What stages, there incredible!

The return to Metal Sonic!!!

Easy bosses compared to the other games. The graphics are much better than other versions. Fun for kids and adults with plenty of action and storyline. The ropes are a little hard to swing on because you have to get the people in the exact order. The flying seemed difficult because you have a time limit to fly. Otherwise this is a very good game.

I may not know a whole lot about all the Sonic characters, but I do know what my 7 year old nephew likes -- I recently bought this game for him and he plays it non-stop. He chooses this gme out of all the Mario and other games from his collection.

He also enjoys the Sonic DX and Battle Games!

DR.eggman is up to no good again. In this game you are a team of three at the same time there are four teams team Rose, team sonic, team dark, and team chaotix. Astonishing graphics and easy gameplay. I recommend this game highly!

Finally a Sonic game that is actually fast!

ok ok So the adventure games were fast....about 10 percent of the the time. The rest of the time you are forced to look for emeralds and blow up stuff in snail-like mechs. BUT THOSE DAYS ARE OVER MY FRINEDS!!! Now there are 4 teams and they are all fast and powerful and fun, yes i said it, all the charachters in a sonic game are fun to play as. There are 3 members to a team and they all bring something to the table. One has speed, one has power, and one has flight. I prefer the power characters. MWAHAHAHAHA! the levels are all pretty fun, but they're kinda rehashes of the other levels in other sonic games...I mean how many times do I have to play in a casino? The gameplay itself is just fine minus some camera problems and the falling through the floor every once in a while problem. OK now I'm gonna tell you the reason I gave it a three instead of a four which i think it deserves...there are no Chao pets! I love those little guys. I don't know who told Sega that they were lame cause they weren't. I spent more time with them in Sonic Adventure 2 BAttle than I did the actual game. These guys need thier own game is all I'm saying! Heroes is still a fun game though.

Sonic at his best! Much better than Sonic Adventure 1 and 2!

When I bought this game, I wanted a Sonic game that would be more like Sonic Advance, which was just what I got. The graphics are much better than the previous games, and the levels are actually challenging. The only problem with this game is that some of the voices sound kind of kiddy(Cream and Charmy.) But other than that, It's a great game! Go on and buy it! You won't be dissapointed!
