Nintendo, as we all know, is a game company who has truly mastered their work. They've outstripped the racing world with F-Zero and Mario Kart. They've evolved the RPG world with Pokemon. And they've mastered the platformer countless times be it a Mario in the second or third dimension. But the masterpiece that is Animal Crossing is still a shocker. I bought this game out of pure trust for Nintendo. I thought it would be a tiresome, fetch quest infested living sim that would keep my attention for a week and would then be ignored. Year and a half later I'm still playing this brilliant and enticing living experience. Screw the Sims, Animal Crossing is the way to go!
Perfect, perfect game!

What a wonderful little game! I was shopping with my 4 and 8 year old kids, and a clerk recommended this for all of us. My kids are actually coming up to me and my husband asking if we have any work (i.e. chores!) for them to do! Now if only there was a game that would teach the males to close the lid!
i want it

This game gets quite boring after awhile. After meeting all my objectives there was nothing left to do. Interaction with the animals can be slow and frustrating. Letter writing is also slow and tedious. Good for very young children, my little niece and nephews (ages 4-7) seemed to like it.
Very fun and adorably simple

Animal Crossing is great! I love it! Around christmas 2004, my friend got one and she and I would play it whenever I came over. Sadly I then only had a PS2 and AC is for only Gamecube. I didn't know anything about Gamecubes besides it played AC, but then I purchased one just so I could play Animal Crossing becuase that's just how great it is! If you have a Gamecube, you REALLY, REALLY NEED Animal Crossing!
im lovin it!!!!!

ok so i got this game 2 days ago and i already love it... at first i was sad cause i thought i needed an e reader and a game boy hook up cable thing to do stuff on the game but then i realized i didnt so i was happy and if u dont wanna collest seashells od do for the animalds to get money then go to [...] and u can get a code toget up to 90000 bells a day so thats what i did and im living the good life in animal crossing because if i didnt it would have taken me forever the repay tom nook for the expansion on my tiny houst which was like 187000 bells and i didnt feel like shaking trees and all that stuff so yea thats what i did...wow i really got off topic ... ok so basically if u like games like the simd then ull like this game and if u dont then this might not be the game for u so u decide!!!!!!!!!!!

Animal Crossing is a simulation-communication game that immitates real life. Even if you are not playing the game, life for the other citizens of the city you get to name still goes on as normal. If you go long enough without playing, your house will be overrun by weeds and bugs. And don't dare to reset the game! You can visit one of your friends's villages if you bring the memory card that is included in the game. After a while, though it gets pretty boring. There isn't much different to do each day. You can access a secret island if you hook up your GBA to the GC. Overall, it is an ok game that I would just rent, not buy.
