I think this was a no brainier these guys were going to make a great game and I knew it. 1 and 2 were awesome so I bought the game as soon as it was available. I knew it was it was coming out I love skateboarding so I played the others and loved it. This game is probably the best game I have. Let's just say its worth every penny and more.

this tony hawk game surpasses the other tony hawk games by far. You should consider this game as your first game. It has easy control, a good skate park deigner and almost anything and everything you can think of that has to do with skateboarding.

How can you not love this game? The hidden characters alone make it worth it, much less how great of a game this is by itself. Overall, this game has kept my attention for longer then anything I've played before (including all the FF's)

A great follow up to an excellent game

This game now holds some of my favorite gaming moments with its easy to use yet difficult to master gameplay. The graphics are out of this world for a console game and are a huge step up from theyre playstation roots. Even though the game dosent take a huge leap from the first two in terms of gameplay, it does change around the money driven part of the second game. Instead if buying boards and statistic points you now have to find them hidden about the level. I rather perfer this game to the other games in the series, but even if you end up liking the first two more, this is still a worthy adition to your gaming collection.

As a UCSD student, my suitemates and I are up past 3 am most mornings studying and doing homework, and we have all become Tony Hawk 3 junkies. It's the ultimate studybreak and it totally kicks ass. If eight GIRLS think this game is that great, imagine what the guys across the hall have to say about it. Then again, we all also skateboard for real... We bought and beat within a week (given all eight of us play a good hour each a day,) but can't stop playing it! THPS3 Anonymous, here we come.

Tony Hawk, Has nothing to do with this game.

Ok, first off, the graphics are off the hook! And you will never get tired of this game. And also, the game is Not Realistic In Any Way, which I love!! There are alot of fun and funny stuff to do in the missions, like when youi get the earthquake to happen in L.A. get on the freeway grind the right side till you grind over this green car, the car falls over ontop of this white van that is being chased by the cops. And there's many other funny things that happen in each level of Career Mode.

The music can get pretty annoying after you've played this game for awhile. You start to memorize all the words and stuff.
The two player mode is tight. You can play against each other for 1,2,5,or 10 minutes and see who gets the most points, or do most tricks on different objects. And one cool part is create your own park, I already spent alot of time in creating one with alot to do, and is actually really good!
All in all, this game is a must have. The replay value is really good. BUY THIS GAME NOW!! Dont see whose review is below me, you've probably read alot of reviews so far, GO Get in the car and buy this game, if not buy it rent it.

Then Buy It! LOL

My cousin bought this video game, and I'm impressed, you can even make your own skate parks. I give this video game a (5 out of 5).

Warning: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 is highly addicting. Ever since I bought this game I haven't been able to put it down. It was a little difficult to get used to at first, but now I'm pulling off 400,000-point combos with ease. The revert is a nice addition, and unlocking Darth Maul made the hours spent impressing those girls on the Cruise Ship worth it. The soundtrack is excellent (Xzibit's "Paparazzi" is one of my favorite rap songs ever), but it's too bad that almost none of them appear on the actual soundtrack. Definitely worth the money paid for it, but I need to start studying for my Series 7...

the best Hawk!

I must say, playing this game is even more exciting than the first time I offered myself a quarter to see myself naked. The graphics and animation are superb, and the gameplay stays fresh for a very, very long time. The skating, tricks, and combos are enough to offer plenty of gameplay for a long time, but on top of this, you have many objectives to complete on each level, unlocking more goodies.

One of the coolest options on THPS3 is the create-a-skater option. With just a little bit of effort, I was able to create a skater that looks so much like me, it's scary. Every friend who has been over to play has been able to create characters that resemble them in a striking manner. This adds an amazing amount of depth if you can create a skater like this because it makes the game a much deeper and more personal experience than it is with the pre-rendered skating star characters.

I can honestly say that as many games as I played and enjoyed since the Atari 2600 days, I've had more fun with this game than any other. I typically play for an hour, maybe two per night, a few times a week. I have played this game no less than 4 hours per day, and up to 6 1/2 hours on a few days since I bought it (about 5 days ago). I've never spent that much time on any video game before in my life.

Now I must return to my home planet to tell everyone there about Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3.
