I loved the game. I is personally I think the best skate boarding game ever made. I have a total of 5 skate boarding game and I think this is the best one I have ever played. The many hidden characters keep you playing and playing again. The only problem is once you start playing you wont want to stop.

Tony Hawk is a long line of great video games. They always have been great. They are strategy games, but are great fun. You get tasks that you have to complete and when you complete enough of them you move on to the next level. There is a great park editor; you can do almost anything with it there are tons of different boxes, pipes, bowls, tables, and ramps. There is so much you can do with the "Park Editor". One thing I don't like about the editor is in Tony Hawk 2 you can get a 30 by 60 area to build your park but in Tony Hawk 3 the largest you can have is a 30 by 30 and it fills up fast. I have made about 20 parks. The "Create a Skater" mode is great too; there are literally billions of combinations for what you can do with each skater. The graphics are great though could be improved. It is a great buy but if you have the money get Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 instead.

Although some may say that this game is just more of the same, I have to disagree. Although all the controls, and most of the characters are the same, this game has changed a lot from the original. objectives such as "Get Chuck Unstuck" are hilarious new additions that were never on any of the other games. I especially like the fact that Chuck runs around complaining about his tounge no matter how many times you play the level, and no matter how many times you run poor chuck over because he got in your way... Don't you think Chuck should have learned to get out of the way? Oh well... poor Chuck.

THPS2 was fun. The levels made sense, the physics were completely unreal (fun) and the locations had some sort of skatepark or something interesting going on. The locations in THPS3 are lacking. A few are fun, but the majority are chaotic and seem to be designed purely with aggravation in mind. The airport is a great example. The physics have changed for the worse. You feel like your controlling a big sack of lead, and you will fall constantly. The controls are not configurable, and the setup for doing tricks is more a game of hitting things in the correct sequence than any sort of creative use of the terrain. On the technical side, this is one of two PS2 games I've seen crash. Shipping a game that crashes is totally unacceptable, but this level of workmanship seems to be a major theme in THPS3. Overall I'm pretty annoyed with my purchase, and would recommend staying away from this title. Don't even waste your money on a rental. Hopefully some developer as talented as the SSX people will come out with a good skater.

Even though this is the first THPS I have gotten for my PS2, I have played THPS1 & 2 for N64, which I assume is the same game, or at least similar. I loved those games, but the third installment is even better. The graphics are much improved, the soundtrack is great, and the cheat mode is very helpful (especially when you have the master code). You can choose from 12 different pro skaters, including Tony Hawk, Elissa Steamer, Andrew Reynolds, and others. There is also the option for Internet play, which I haven't used yet but I hear it is very good. I've only had it for a few days and I'm still mastering it, but overall, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 is an excellent game. For fans of the first two editions, go out and buy the third immeadiately! I guarantee you will love it!

this game is hot, because you have excellent graphics and you could play online. also because it is more creative than all the first ones because you can teach on the game kids how to do the tricks. i imagine how tony hawk 4 will be?

This is going to the best game in the Tony Hawk series by far. I heard there's going to be a lot more vehicles to get in your way, more computer-controlled skaters, and even pedestrians walking down the street. It's also going to to have superior graphics, and you'll be able to play over the internet with the ps2 modem. I can't wait for it to come out!

I would have to say i was disapointed after playing Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3. I have the second one and i love it. The grafiucs are good, music is fine, bla bla bla. But the game is just flat out hard. It has stupid, nearly impossible missions and tasks. The tricks you could do in the second were totally different. Its a good game for people who have the patience and the devotion to constantly work on a game to beat the first few levels. I think people just gave it 4s and 5s because they don't want to sound like Pu**ies for not being able to do anything. My friends and I all gave it a 2 out of 5. We'll stick to Grand Theft Auto 3.. Now theres some fun right there...

I like Tony Hawk 3 a lot better than 2, the graphics are improved and you can now skate online via the PS2 modem, the controls are easy to master and you can create a skater and a park, the only problems are that the game is very unrealistic, and too shor.

All I have to say is this game is hot! THPS3 is the overall best Skateboarding game so far. If you think this game is cool just wait til THPS4 looks like. I am the Neversoft tester my peeps. :)
