This game is sooo great it will be one of the best games ever made.Tony is back with a great skateboarding game!It has all the best skaters and it has a create your own skater mode.That is really fun and there is so many new levels.It even has 12 skaters to choose from!It even has a create your own Park mode.It is so fun.I think this tony hawk is the best.It is even better then Dave Mirra Bmx 2!!!!!!!!!And another great thing is that you could play with your friends when there at their house and your at your house.Isn't that sweet.I have to tell you this game is going to be the best game ever made.Well where just have to wait till they come out with Tony Hawk's pro Skater 4.I can't wait.

I've been waiting for this one for a good five months now. Needless to say, I was at the store last Wednesday when the game was released. I played it all weekend and have good things to report. The graphics and gameplay are outstanding: animations are smooth, game is easy to just pick up and play (and there's a tutorial included for those new to the series). Even though I was able to finish the game with 1 of approximately 14 characters I will be going back to finish it with all of them. Neversoft is known for keeping you coming back to find all the hidden characters/levels/etc and THPS 3 is no exception. There are also a very addictive multiplayer and online multiplayer that I won't get into here. In short, fans of the series will not be disappointed, it has something for everyone!

I own this game and it is sooo fun! In the beginning it is really hard, but once you get the hang of it you just can't stop. The levels are really fun and interesting. The create a player mode is really fun. I suggest you play the first one or two, otherwise you gotta get it!

I rated this a 5, not because I have it right now, but because most magazines and publications have given this game a 10. IGN.com gave it a 9.7. Videogames.com gave it a 10. PSM gave it a 10. EGM gave it a Gold Award (received an average score of above 9). I can't wait to play this one. The first one was great, the second was better, and the third looks to be EVEN BETTER. Online play, a bigger create a player mode, more ways to link combos (ex. revert) = GAMING BLISS. BUY THIS GAME. NOW.

a masterpiece even in this era (2007)

I had this game in the PC like 4 years ago, it had so many bugs that i was tired of restarting in a competition when the skater got stuck in a halfpipe (a very common and continuos bug) then i gave it as a gift to one of my students. But when i bought the PS2 2 years ago i bought also thps4, then thug and finally thug2, each of them a piece of art on its own. But i had that splinter in my mind from this THPS3, the game that in most of the gamesites and in most reviews of various magazines had 10 of 10 of score, but the game costed like 80 bucks because it was a collectors item, thanks God, finally the people of activision re-launched the game again in greatest hits (again, so this has to be like greatest hits of greatest hits of greatest hits) and i couldn't miss it, i bought it inmediately. Well, what can i say, the game is just PERFECT, as the score of so many magazines 10 of 10, the graphics shine and are state of the art, the music is perfect, the play control is awesome and the best of all THERE WAS NO BUGS!!, at least not during my watch, i can say that i don't know what is happening with the pc versions, but sometimes it has to do with the video card, other times with the sound cards, other times with some hardware i don't know. Well, to conclude, i can say that i am a Tony Hawk die hard fan, and this game is just perfect, it filled every spectation that i had. This game just does it, i love it, and i can recommend it to anyone who likes Tony Hawk games, if you haven't a TH title before i recommend you to start doing it, they're incredible games and a true gamers' must have.

This is an awesome game. I would highly reccomend it to anybody who is into skate bording I loved it, I would highly reccomend it to any scate fan!

I got this game for my birthday,And I love it,Now I will review it for you.Gameplay 10/10.This game has superb gameplay,It is so much fun to do tricks and get goals,It features tons of tricks and goals,And a lot of skaters like tony hawk and karem campbell,And also unlockable skaters such as kelly slater,Who is my favorite.Grahfics 7/10.There good but not perfect,At times there that chopie like style.Music 0/10.Not good, thats the nicest way I can put it.Goals and levels 7/10.The levels are ok but not great,There way to short and really small,There is not much room to move around in,And they are not very detaild.Rent or buy.I would say neather,Just buy tony hawk 4.All and all tony hawk 3 is pretty good.

Ok, just to be straight-forward, this games blows. This is the worst Tony Hawk game they have made yet. The graphics totally [stink], the goals are pointless, and the create-a-skater is too limited and truely horrible. If you haven't already, DO NOT waste your hard earned money on this piece of junk. I hope the makers do a better job on Tony Hawk 4.

Tony Hawk 2 was the best game ever, Tony hawk 3 doesn't quite live up to that legacy. Tony hawk 3 is a very good game but it has some flaws, like the decision to have the cars slow down for you instead of running you over like in Tony Hawk 2. And even when you do get run over the people don't yell at you anymore, I can't tell you how many hours of fun I had getting hit by cars and having the drivers yell at me. The soundtrack in Tony Hawk 3 is lot worse than in Tony Hawk 2, I like the idea of a playlist a lot, but I found myself getting rid of half the songs on the list. More doesn't mean better. And while I'm picky what [person] came up with the bright idea of making Ace of Spades the opening song, I've only watched the opening scene once because of that stupid song. Also the levels in Tony hawk 2 seemed so much cooler. I don't know what it is but I just felt like Tony Hawk 2 was just so much cooler, just playing it made you feel cool. Also I occasionally found myself getting sick of Tony Hawk sometimes, I must have played 60-70 hours o Tony hawk 2 and about the same with Tony hawk 3 and with Tony Hawk 4 coming out soon you begin to wonder how much Tony Hawk you can stand.

To be fair I like how the graphics look a lot better in this game and the option to revert and balance lip tricks and grinds is great. It also has a tutorial so it is more beginner friendly. Also I beat the game with everybody so it wasn't like I didn't like the game. it's just that it's not quite as good as Tony hawk 2.

Beyond that there is not much more to say because not much has changed since the last game, the control scheme is the same as well as most of the two player modes except King of the Hill and slap (but slap is the same as tag almost). There is the fact that instead of money you now find stat points and decks throughout the levels instead of buying them. Beyond that it is almost the same game (and that's a good thing).This is great game even those who don't even like extreme sports will enjoy this.
