I know that there is a lot of people out there that think that pokemon games are for babies. But if if they just give it a try they would probably like it to. If they do not keep it to your self, because I know these two will be the best two pokemon games ever. Especealy because of the 136 new pokemon added to the preveous 251 other pokemon. You get a choice of a fire, water or grass type pokemon. There is supposedly some new LEGENDARY pokemon. You can get Celebi and you are supposed to be able to get mew and mewtwo. the other legendarys are also in the game. better graphics and to top it off you can link it up with pokemon stadium 3 for the Nintendo Gamecub.

Yipee for Hamtaro and Pokemon!

I got so much pokemon I'm almost finishing my Pokedex I have 170 pokemon and I seen 193 pokemon I even beated the game and I have Kyogre but I did a mistake I accidently fainted Grouden I will tell you how to get a master ball when you get to Lilycove City go to the cave and you will see team aqua or what ever that's all the stuff I know.I will tell you about the new Hamtaro game Hamtaro Rainbow Rescue but I don't know that much but I know when it comes out September 1,2003.

Pokemon ruby is awsome! The graphics are great and the game is challenging and you can choose the evil team you want to play instead of team rocket. If you choose ruby you fight team magma. If you choose saphire you fight team aqua. You can also enter a contest in smartnes, coolness, cuteness, toughness I think ther is more but that is what I remember.

I remember my old days. I bought Pokemon Blue version first. I was instantly hooked by it's simplicity, basically everything about the game. I bought Red version soon after, then Yellow, and waited about two years before I nabbed Gold version, and then Crystal. The Pokemon fever kinda slowed down, but nobody will be ashamed of buying this game. This is one of the best games I've ever played, for GBA. It is a great rendition of the original games, but with more color, and new guys to capture and battle with. There is nothing better than curling up at the couch and catch Staryu or Zigzagoon. Any child would like this, and older kids will too. It's truly an awesome game that SHOULD not be missed by anyone who has a GBA.

Or was that get lost for the 15th time in a row???
i bought Ruby about a week after it came onto the shelves in australia, and it is better than i expected it to be. they only have about 70 of the original 251 pokemon with 100 new pokemon. even though, i do really really enjoy it, i do miss the fact that Pikachu isnt #25 anymore, its number one hundred and something. the new pokemon Tailow is #25. also, if you have a favorite, like meowth, it dosent live in hoehn, so no payday. but its not all bad! they do have weird little new things, like pokeblocks, and a new setup for your rival! this time you have 2, which is good - i like to battle. i've been in over 3000 in 70 hours. the pokenav is great, as is the difficulty of ruby. it can get hard to navigate tho. :( thats all from me, just one more thing - PRO NEOPETS!

The game is a nice improvement for not only Game Boy but for Pok'emon games. If your a parent and is reading this think about buying it for your kids.I bought it for my self because i was ashamed to ask my parents for it for my birthday.They think i grew out of pokemon when i was 9 but i still like to play the games. If you are a kid reading this don't be ashamed to ak your parents for it.

this game is very cool but it is not true that you can catch 200 pokemon that was in pokemon gold, silver, red, blue you can only play in the one leauge I already haave 8 bages

I was fortunate enough to get this game bought for me from America. The newest instalment to the pokemon craze is just so cool! The new way in which some of the menus are set out take a bit of getting used to and I have to admit some of the english names of the POKeMON are kack. New graphic touches such as footprints in the sand and reflections in the water are also cool. Some of the trainer and gym leaders can also be a bit on the easy side if you know what tactics to use. The new 2 on 2 battle system is okay (its not much different to the single battle system - only that you pick 1 move for each POKeMON and that you pick which opponent to use it on.) the way the weather affects battles can be annoying at times. Lastly, the new vocabulary system used to answer peoples questions can be a bit of a laugh! Over all, this game rocks and is a joy to play even by 'former'POKe - fans like my self. Highly recommended.

I finally got Pokemon Ruby April 4th and I absolutely love it.It's the best Pokemon game GameFreak and Nintendo ever made and a big thanks goes to the GBA and GBA SP because they really enhance Ruby and Sapphires game play due to the GBA's 32-bit graphics(pretty good for a handheld game).Most people say that it has up to 40 or 30 hours of game play and it does but for me as soon as I got it I played it and couldn't put it down,I'm possitive that'll be your reaction to this game if u plan on getting it.But the second day after I bought it I already recieved 6 badges,but thats only because I played if for like 6 hours straight without stopping.Thats about the only way u'll get through it quick.So if your like me,who plays straight through without stopping then u'll love this,even if u take long to beat it,it's still the best Pokemon game EVER MADE!!Buying this game will truly make u feel like u got your moneys worth!

Buy the way I have Pokemon Ruby and I already caught Ruby's legendary Pokemon:Groundon without even having to use a Master Ball,all I did was weaken it until it only had a tiny bit of energy left.It took like 6-8 different kind of Poke Balls to catch it because it kept braking free but I finally caught it with only a little Great Ball.I was just lucky that time so try to stock up on at least 10 Ultra Balls,10 Great Balls,and as many Poke Balls as u want,it really doesn't matter once you've stocked up on the Ultra Balls and the Great Balls.
