... at the fact that, when this new game comes out, there will be about 400 different kinds of Pokemon in all and that the show is uninspired and always the same (cause it kinda is...) but the games are always alot of fun and new pokemon add a kind of interest to the game. Plus, this game will be on GBA and it has great graphics comparitively. I know I preordered my copy!

hello, i thought the other pokemon games were ok, but this game rocks. it has 7 legenary pokemon and over 100 new pokemon. at the beginning you can be a boy or girl or pick a torchic, treecko, or mudkip. mudkip is best to pick on ruby and treecko is best to pick on sapphire. because of team aqua and magma. and parents if you think this game is violent its not no bleeding or anything of that sort. This game is safe and dont teach your kids violence. so kids get pokemon ruby or sapphire today!!!

I got this game for my B-day and now I have played about 200 hours.I have REGISTEEL,REGICE,LATIOS,AND RAQUNZA all rare and legendary.So I think this is a 100000000000000000000% game

I like Ruby very very very very very very very very very very very very much.The origional 252 pokemon were cool,but there's something about the Ruby and Sapphire pokemon that just makes me love them.If you do buy this game,which you should,get a mudkip as you first pokemon.It is a good water type and evolves into swampert at lv. 36.Ruby is not a waste of money at all.With 138 new pokemon to catch,you'll be hooked on it for a while.

P.s.:Sapphire is just as good.

This is a fun game. If you have played Poke'mon, you know the basic formula. Walk in grass, get in battles, weaken and capture the Poke'mon... You get it. The 2-on-2 battles are the one new thing, besides secret bases. There are always some legendary Poke'mon to catch, such as...
Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, and Mewtwo: Red, Blue, Yellow
Entei, Raikou, Suicane, Lugia, and Ho-Oh: Gold, Silver, Crystal

The one's in Ruby and Sapphire are...
Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Latios, Latias, Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza.
But, there are always one's you CAN'T catch, because there is no way to find them! (Unless you use a GameShark, or Actio Replay) These Poke'mon are...
Mew: R, B, Y, G, S, C
Celibi: G, S, C
Deoxys: RU, SA
Jirachi is obtainable in Ruby and Sappire if you get a Poke'mon Colloseum Bonus Disc, but I wonder if there will ever be a way to get Mew and Celibi. But enough legendary babbling! These are fine games, and with the exception of most the first 251 and Deoxys, you CAN catch 'em all. So, as I have said before, don't buy it unless you like long RPG's which involve catching many creatures!

I got Ruby almost as soon as it was released and was amazed at how wonderfully good it is!
The game follows on from past titles in the sense that you have just started out as a pokemon trainer. This time, you are a region called Hoenn, however, compared to the other games, Hoenn has much more depth and mystery.
It also has new features such as pokemon contests, but the best idea is that of 2 on 2 battles, in which you have two pokemon and your oppenent has two pokemon.
A downside to the game however is the fact that you cannot trade with past titles to get monsters like Charmander and Chikorita but with the release of Colosseum, this may change.
Another thing is that there are only 200 monsters that you can catch, where the others are, I do not know but Colosseum is set to change that.

If I were you, I would not delay in getting this game, It is brilliant!!!

This game is really good for gamers young and old.
The Battling system has really been improved from previous games. Being able to have two pokemon in battle at once is great. The new world of Hoenn is fantastic with something new around every corner. The wild Pokemon do get on your nerves after a while but overall it it a really enjoyable experience. And you get so much satisfaction when you beat the elite four for the first time. Personly I just love to keep going back to fight them.

Its my opinon that to get the most out of the game you will need to trade with Pokemon Sapphire. I bought both and I'm really glad I did.

okay if you do not have this game you should read this. when you start the game the best pokemon to pick is treecko. and if you like blaziken,combusken,or torchic just forget it and pick treecko because when you pick treecko may picks torchic which is effective,when you pick torchic may picks mudkip, and when you pick mudkip may picks treecko.

Well the good thing is there are so many legendaries but some (like LATI_S) take forever to catch or even find But don't leave it just for that just use the master ball on (insert LATI here). and oh yeah DON'T GET SAPPHIRE JUST GET RUBY I TELL YA RUBY!!!!!!!!

Think about it...
Red & Blue...a little later there was Yellow which was a little better than Red & Blue
Gold & Silver...a little later there was Crystal which was a little better than Gold & Silver
Ruby & Sapphire...there's got to be another one released that's a little better than Ruby & Sapphire...
