hey
this game is the best it is 1,000,000,000 better then all the games of the pokemon thereare so many pokemon that it is hard to keep track!!!you should buy this not ... Yu-gi-oh

The Bad Stuff

There's a lot of negatives about the game. First of all, practically everyone from Bulbasaur to Celebi you cannot capture. Also, you don't travel to Johto or Kanto. You can only catch 200 out of 386. There were more even before this game. 50 vanished! I believe that Nintendo has slouched off a lot. The names are pathetic (Mudkip, Torchic, Plus, Minus, Zigzagoon), and have stupid themes. Many game boy advance games have better graphics than this. One more big difference. No Team Rocket?! Magma or Aqua are strange names, and according to data, each team only favors 1 time, fire (magma [Ruby]), and water (Aqua [Sapphire]). However, I'd reccomend Sapphire. The legends are better, and Team Aqua should be more of a challenge. Ruby: 2 stars, Sapphire: 3 stars

It will have lots of new pokemon. For all of you poke'fans.
A new quest, new people in different ways, new towns, new battle system, ect. There is not a Poke'mon Stadium 3.If there is, I would know because I'm on Nintendo sites all the time. I wrote this in the middle of January, and the person who said that wrote their's before me, so I'd like to know where they get their information from. But if a pokemon stadium 3, a link-up would be a great idea. I might get Poke'mon Ruby or Sapphire, and I'm not even a Poke'mon fan. So if you are a fan, YOU SHOULD DEFINETELY CHECK IT OUT!Tons of new and old Poke'mon to. check it out!

This game is cool because i played the Jap version of it.You no how i download it. It is going to be great. The 2 on 2 battle is super tuff when u r at Hoen pokemon leage. The attacks are very cooll. THere r more then 100 new attacks. Instead of using a pokemon surfing the sea . your gonna use a little ship.Oh yeah there are 2 legendary pokemon that looks like Lugia but it got different color eye brow.

THIS GAME ROCKS DUDE GET IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I`ve played all the pokemon games Silver,Gold,Red,Blue,Yellow,Crystal but this game above all is the best I`ve ever played! It was my brother`s game until I started playing it.Why I think this game is soo cool is because when you first start playing it you dont all of the new pokemon its like when you got your first pokemon game and you had to learn everything about them so you would be the greatest pokemon master ever!.It like takes you back to the old days...... :)

pokemon ruby is the best game boy advance game i have ever played. I got addicted on this and i have been playing for just over 200 hours and six of my pokemon are level 100 and what really made me play after i'd completed it was the link cable battles and the trading. So far i've done 34 pokemon battles and i've lost none yet and 72 trades and the 2 on 2 battles which i've done a lot of are really good and a lot of fun. Also i hate pokemon i think it is really annoying everyone collecting (...) pokemon cards and watching the cartoon which i hate and i hate pikachu. But this game is brilliant and i would reccomend it to anyone. if you hate pokemon you wll still get a lot out of this game.

Totally worth the money!

I bought this recently and I am having a blast. It is the best Pokemon game yet by far, and I haven't put it down for more than 5 minutes. After that time, I always come crawling back to it!

PROS:
Play as either a boy or girl trainer
Two-on-two battles
Improved graphics
New Pokemon
No visible day/night (I personally hated when it got dark out)
Pokemon contests
Catch a powerful Pokemon before the Elite Four and Champion
No Team Rocket (There is a new, less annoying team)
New ability--dive
Weather!
New "secret base"

CONS:
STILL can't catch other starter Pokemon
Some Pokemon are exclusive to one version
Weather! (Some call this a con...)
A ton of Pokemon from Gold, Silver, Crystal, Red, Blue, and Yellow cannot be found in Ruby and Sapphire
Cannot trade with any versions except Ruby and Sapphire

Despite the name, this game is very challenging.

As the title implies, despite this being a "Pokemon" title which many find synominous with the "younger set", this game has really demonstrated to me, that "Pokemon" is trying to indeed break the typical stigma that has been attached to it. It has done so, with the release of these games.

As a 32 year old entreneupner, I can tell you that this games offer me a challenge un-matched by many other games that I have played.

The graphics are much improved from the previous editions of the Pokemon Games, and while, there are only 8 badges to collect, as opposed to 16 in earlier games, the skill required to defeat these "gym leaders" in these newest games, that have kept me very busy for 24+ hours thusfar, and I am only about 25% of the way through the game.

Additionally, the multi-layerd aspect of these games, give them much more depth and plot then the previous games. The advarsaries offer a fresh twist on the game, as "Team Rocket" takes a hiatus in these games.

Most will say that Pokemon is merely for children, NOT SO. I rank these games right up there with the "Zelda" series on all respects, for graphics, plot and gameplay. A very worthwhile effort on the part of Nintendo, and well worth the long wait, that Pokemon Gamers had to endure to finally get these games on the Gameboy Advance Platform.

All in all, I feel that these games are a stepping stone that will finally "break down" the Pokemon stereotype. Nice work Nintendo.

What is all this? I don't see how anyone could give this game a bad review. Why are all of you writing bad reviews about not being able to transfer your poke mon from preveios games? That's just
cheating. The game takes place years after gold and silver. The poke mon have changed and evolved to more powerful states.And if that doesn't happen in the show, no one cares about that anyway. Now I could be wrong about this, but it explains the game. If this isn't true, well you know , like someone said in another review, that they're going to make a third version that you can trade with: red, blue(yellow)gold, silver(crystal)ruby,sapphire(???)Besides they're bound to do something.

hi!I absolutley LOVE this game!this is the best game i've ever played,you can have two pokemon in battle and some areas you may get stuck,but you'll figure it out in like 1 second!I'm a girl and i'm 13
