The Real Deal For Pokemon Crystal

1.The Best thing about this game is the new battle tower in olivine city You can go in pick the other trainers levels of Pokemon and battle them (This is helpful for raising pkmn) if you win you can get rewards like carobs and protein :) 2. in the runes of Alph you have to read the massages on the wall like a book to figure out puzzles. this makes this side quest harder. 3. You will have an easer time catching one of the hardest to find Pokemon Suicune after you battle the wise trio. in tin tower 4. in gold and silver the dragons den is just a hiding place for the dragons fang in crystal you have to pass many quizzes to get the last badge in johto 5. Buena a radio DJ in the radio tower of johto gives out a password every day and you go to her tell the password to her and she gives you points that you can redeem for prizes like nuggets and iron and other great things here is a full list ultra ball is 2 points full restor is 2 points nugget and rare candy are 3 points protein, iron carbos calucim and hp up are a whopping 5 points each. 6 in the day care center next to goldenrod city a man will give you an egg but IT IS NOT TOGEPI it could be Pichu or maybe igglybuff it is a mystery?????? 7. the images in crystal have been enhanced like the ice path to blackthorn city it looks like it is pure ice the ground is covered in snow and the "rocks" the things that block the sides of the path look like ice crystals it makes you feel cold while going through it. and a new thing in battle and in the pokedex the Pokemon move around i call this Pokemation for example Sentret waves its arms and bounces and Pikachu waves winks and raises one foot before battle. 8 in gold and silver the cell phone is just for rematches but in crystal you can get real good info and things like evolution stones potions and other great stuff 9 some Pokemon learn new attacks like Yanma it learns wing attack and Snesel learns metal claw and dug trio learns Tri attack 10. and the newest and the best thing for pokegirls every where you can chose to be a boy or girl. 11. there is a guy that will teach one of your pokemon ice beam thunderbolt or flamethrower to your pokemon for a price of 4000 coins whitch is not bad if you have pokemon stadiunm 2 and a transfer pack. 12. one bad thing is to catch hoho you have to catch all the ledgendary dogs and defeat the eliet four talk about demanding. one more thing YOU CAN'T CATCH THE TIME TRAVILING POKEMON CELEBI this fact is proven by nintendo and nintendo power magazine it is just another roumor like the mew code in red blue and yellow it is not real I'm real sorry i had to spill the beans on the sad truth.

Whatever that guy before me said about Crystalix, it's not true. No new Pokemon have been added to Pokemon Crystal, but I do believe there's a way to obtain Celebi in the game. I've seen screen shots of the japanese version, but don't quote me on this I'm not too sure. Moving on -- you can choose to start as a male or female character, and your pack's desing will change depending on your gender. Also, there's a new rival out there who's obsessed with catching Suicune, and supposedly you have to stop him or something. This game is very centered around Suicune, as you can see on the box design, and a feature in the game that I like is that the legendary dogs are actual sprites in the game now, and when you see them, you click on them and fight them, so it'll be easier to find and catch them. Three new TM's will be added -- Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, and Ice Beam -- but you can only teach them to your Pokemon at the Game Corner for a whole crapload of coins. New moves can be bred or learned by Pokemon now -- like Eevee learning Baton Pass and Cloyster learning Spikes.

The new crystal version is to gold and silver as yellow is to red and blue, it's a lot better. In this game you can chose to be a boy or girl, and unlike red, blue, yellow, gold, and silver your pokemon can learn unlimted moves. Also in this game you can catch the new 251 bug/phycic pokemon celibi. All you need to do is get a G/S ball, take it kurt for a day then take it to the shrine in Ilex Forest. This game has more Items, Balls(G/S ball of course)and pokemon. I think everyone who plays it will enjoy it!

Crystal is the MUST-HAVE game of the entire year for ANY great Pokemon Trainer. If you are a girl Poke' fan, good news--you can be a girl in this game. I know some people say that you can get Crystalix(Crystal Onyx), but you can't. DON'T LISTEN TO THEM!!!!! THEY ARE TRYING TO CONFUSE YOU!!!!!!!!! Anyway, this game is very much centered around Suicune--even the box has Suicune on it! Your rival REALLY wants to get Suicune, but you need to try and get it first. Just like what Ho-Oh and Lugia were like on the G/S games, Suicune is going to be like that--just standing there--but he WILL move around the world. Also in Crystal, when you are battling, your Pokemon and the enemy Pokemon will be animated. Like with Lugia, for example, he will flap his wings, or blink, or shake his head. That kind of stuff. You will also be able to catch Celebi in the wild, but also like the other games, you can only try ONCE. You get the G/S ball from Prof. Oak, give it to Kurt for a day, then when you get it back, place it on the shrine in Ilex Forest. I would suggest theat you save before you place, because if you miss catching Celebi, you won't have another chance. Another great thing about this is that in Ecruteak City, there will be a tower where you can set the levels of the Pokemon inside of it--anywhere from 1-100. This will be the best place to train your Pokemon in the whole game! Also, Pokemon will learn new moves that they couldn't in G/S. There will be new TMs, HMs, and items. Crystal is definitely the best game of the year, of the century, and of the millenium so far! If you are a serious Pokemon fan, this game is for you!

Pokemon Crystal is the best pokemon game ever so far, so here's the real deal:

1. Pokemon animate now, like Pikachu blinks and waves his arm. 2. There is a Battle Tower now west of Olivine City which has tons of trainers ready to battle you. If you win, you may even get Protein, Carbos, etc. 3. Suicine is a major player in the game. (I think the box says so...) A Suicine fanatic, Eusine, wants to capture it, and you are his rival. 4. You can capture Ho-oh in this game, one one condition: You must beat the elite four and capture all the ledgendary dogs. 5. You can choose to be a girl. If you are, you graphic will look different, and your pokegear looks different too. 6. Trainers give different responses when they call you via cell phone. 7. Unown puzzles in the Ruins of Alph are more interesting. 8. A new radio show, hosted by Buena, gives you a password every night. Tell the password to Buena in the Radio Tower in Goldenrod to redeem points to get free prizes. 9. Pokemon are found in new places and learn new moves. 10. The Ice path looks much cooler that in G/S. The walls look like ice.

But........ YOU CANNOT GET CELEBI and there are no Cell phone capabilities for the US version. (It is only in the Japanese one.)Please keep this message in mind because dumb people love to spread rumors and "catching Celebi in Crystal" is one of them, just a bunch of foey!

But my point is, buy Pokemon Crystal. It rocks and every Pokemaniac should get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Crystal- A game worth buying

I've heard alot of things about crystal and this is what i have 2 say. You can play as girl or boy. You can catch Celebi. You get a G.S. ball. The Goldenrod Pkmn Center has turned into a Pkmn Communication Center. There is a Battle Tower in Ecruteak. New challenging Unknown puzzles. Better graphics with moving Pkmn. New rival who is obsessed with catching Suicune(blue dog on the box). You are there when Prof Elm recieves the message from Mr. Pkmn. Your mom has a guest at the table when you come down from your room. You see Suicune in the wild. New people. The Ice Path looks alot better(more icy). Might be new places. Pkmn in different locations. When you first visit the day care man you recieve an Odd Egg. Odd Egg hatches into a Mystery Pkmn. Shiny pkmn and Pokerus aren't as rare as before. I've seen alot of screen shots and liked all of them. The screen shot of the Battle Tower inparticular was pretty spectacular. this is a totally aewsome game. It's very original. if this isn't different from gold and silver enough you must be very spoiled rotten, picky kids.

Crystal- Better than Bad.

To clear up a few facts, Crystal is NOT a new 'miniseries' as I call them (like r+b and g+s). It is really an addition to gold and silver. The only new available pokemon is Celebi (which is supposedly not that strong.) But there are a few important, major differences that I consider worthwhile.

For one, the story line of Suicune. I LOVE SUICUNE! Hee hee. The legendary dogs aren't just little things in your pokedex! Yay! You're on a quest to catch, the best, in my opinion, legendary dog there is. Because, quite frankly, after you've beaten the game, there AREN'T any other quests to do, and this perks it up a little.

Two, there is a girl option. That's not a bad thing, because a lot of hard-core pkmn fans (most, actually), are girls! And that includes me ^_^ It kind of unites the pkmn community a bit to make it double-gendered instead of being one sided, and also gives a little respect to girls, unlike the games in which all characters are male.

Three, Celebi. The only grass/psychic, if you don't count those egg-things. This shows that Nintendo is maybe NOT trying to pull another Mew-trap on us (if you play R/B, you'll know what I mean). I like!

Finally, the animations. It just makes the game a little more lifelike, so you can spend even more of your night imagining you are a real trainer...

Pokemon Crystal - A New Journey

This game is very cool. There are many new features. 1. The opposing pokemon will move when brought into battle. 2. The mysterious TimeTravel Pokemon, Celebi, can be captured in the Ilex Forest once you have all 16 badges and the GS Ball safe at your side. 3. You will be able to choose between male and female. Many female players will definetly like this new addition. 4.You now have a new rival to face. He vows that he will capture the legendary beasts, Raikou, Entei and Suicune. Suicune is a major player in the game. You will be able to see it while you are walking. 5. New items such as CRYSTAL BELL and GS BALL can be found. 6. Only Lugia will be able to be captured. 7. The Goldenrod City Pokemon Center has turned into a huge Pokemon Communication Center. This is where you will recieve the GS Ball. 8. There is now a new game going on at the radio tower that has something to do with passwords. 9.The Unown Puzzles have changed.In one puzzle you must use an escape rope and then re-enter.In another you must have a Ho-oh in the first slot of your party.These will surely burn fuel on people that try to figure them out. 10. Some pokemon learn attacks they couldn't learn before.Example: Dugtrio can learn Tri- Attack and Eevee Baton Pass. 11. Some pokemon can be found in different areas. 12.Whenever you enter a city or route a sign will appear saying where you are. 13. You can catch new pokemon such as Kakureon, (Chameleon Pokemon)Hoeruko( Whale Pokemon)and Luriri (Aquamouse Pokemon). ...

The newest pokemon game around ! It's pokemon crystal! It is supose to have new worlds, new pokemon, and new places. If you are playing gold and silver versions, there is a great challenge you will have to face: capturing the three legendary dog pokemon, Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. It's not like red, yellow, and blue versions when you are capturing the 3 legendary bird pokemon. When you see one of these pokemon, they flee away from you. The good news about this is that when you see one of these pokemon, it is added to your pokedex. Look for the pokemon in your pokedex. Then press A when your curser is on the pokemon's name. Then go to area and press A. Then use your pokegear to find where is has marked. Then stock for a few days on max repel. Then start running back and forth through the grass. When you and the legendary pokemon have ended up in the same place, use max repel to repel weak pokemon. This way if you do get a battle, it will only be a legendary pokemon. When you run in to the legendary pokemon, put it to sleep right away. Then chip it down to a little speck of hp. If it wakes up and runs away, don't fear. Legendary pokemon keep their damage. The best balls to use are ultra balls, great balls, or fast balls.

Crystal Overview: One Of The Best Games EVER!!!!!

ok listen up!!! i am a vetran of the pokemon gaming phenomena, an for all you die-hard pokemon fans out there or just the people who have heard of pokemon and think too much about it, you should try pokemon crystal. buy it, rent it, borrow it from that kid down the street who you talk to during lunch in school, i don't care!!! find a way to try it out to it's full pleasurable experiance, but in the mean time, i'll uncover some of the new concepts that rises along with crystal.

first off it branches off the storyline presented in earlier games, namley gold and silver (g/s) versions and extently off red, blue and yellow (r/b/y), with the quest to become pokemon master by catching all different types of pokemon, which totals to 251 "pocket monsters", while traveling the maps and battling trainers (people who raise pokemon).

in addition there are 2 new types thrown into the mix, dark and steel. along with all the pokemon updates comes new ways to get pokemon, like breeding. some pokemon, if not most, learn different moves they didn't learn in g/s or r/b/y. along with g/s, in crystal there are new moves (differing from r/b/y), tm's and hm's, which contributes to changing pokemon veterans battle strategy quite a bit.

there are some subquests within the gameplay. one of the main subquests is the legendary dog, suicune, is shown on the map and you are challanged to catch it first, as a new trainer, minaki, wants only to train and raise suicune. also, your are able to catch the 251st pokemon, celebi. you can't catch it in g/s, which allows for it's official nintendo and gameboy appearance with exception to using gameshark codes on g/s and it's appearance in pokemon stadium.

along with those changes, there is a choice of being a male or female character at the start. this changes the gameplay little, but it pleases some of the females who are tired of the hero always being a boy. there is also an internal clock showing day and night, time and even the day of the week it is. another addition i would like to cover would be when you enter a new area a sign pops up at the bottom telling you where you are.

i haven't covered it all, as i let others inform you about the stuff in the cracks i neglected to get to now, but this alone is enough of a tantalizing offer from which you can get from pokemon crystal. if you want more info, there are hundreds upon thousands of sites dedicated to pokemon games, cards, and television on the net, just waiting to be used as a research tool for hopeful and dedicated fans, giving as much as walkthroughs through the game, but i don't exactly reccomend it unless you are COMPLETELY locked in one part of the game, as the fun is in the unexpected and inevitable surprise. with all these new changes from older versions, it makes for much excitement, hours of fun and challanges, and an addictive storyline for gamers. a must have, as i said earlier, for all die-hard pokemon fans. and as for those who are a bit skeptical about it, give it a try pokemon isn't as horrible as some people say. don't let the fact that it isn't one of those blood and guts killing games spoil the fun. (i have yet to see a pokemon come out of my game and go on a killing spree, shooting up the town with the machine gun he has in one hand, stabbing the governor with the knife he has in the other, in a crazed mission to take over the world.) it is a great game, and a shouldn't be judged by some [person] with internet access and no life but to mock games that don't have outstanding 3D graphics or have a storyline that "they just don't get", or even can't understand the fact that it is a game, that's all it is and all it will be, and isn't built off someones real life experiences. you should decide for yourself, end of discussion. give this game a look, if not even a glance, then choose. but all in all, a great game, and i personally give it a 10/10, and as i wait for the future of pokemon and gaming as a whole with the rest of the known world looking at the virtual horizon, i'll see you all later.
