Pokemon crystal is supposed too be good it is beacuse u can do alot of stuff that u could'nt do in Pokemon Gold & Silver but Pokemon Crystal is the same like Pokemon Gold & Silver like 1.u can catch suncine easier but u have to catch Raikou & Entei the same hard way 2. u can pick what ever gender u want to be 3. u can not catch Celebi (only in japensee version) 4.goldenrod city has a new Pokemon Center and u can do or see new other things in Pokemon crystal. Well g2g Peace out

This is the best game yet. You don't have to be worried about being a girl or boy player because it's fun for everyone! The characters are better and the game offers more fun then the gold or silver.

Every Pokemon Fan should get this game,this game is better than pokemon gold,silver,red,blue and yellow combined.You can trade Pokemon on your Pokegear with the other Trainers and Best of all you can be either a Boy or a Girl in this Game.I give this game a 10 from a scale of 1-10!!!!!

Usually people know about Crystal being a new game, unlike gold/silver at all. It's just like it. Everyone knows about red/ble, and that yellow was made from it. It's just the same thing. The differences are that girls finally have a chance to enjoy there play, since now they get to be a female character that looks like Nurse Joy, only with dark blue hair. Yes, there still is the boy character. The point of the game is to catch the water type dog, suinice, and your able to catch the grass type PKMN found in a forest you were not able to catch in gold and silver. There are new pokémon watching tools, called Pokeballs to catch pokémon with. There are different people to play, and different things to do. The animation is much different then in gold and silver, since once you get the pokédex, the pictures move. This is a wonderful game that gives each child who plays it a new since of imagination. If you diside to give this to your kiddo, I'm sure your going to have a lot more quiet time. Hehe.(Since they will play it all day)

Pokemon Crystal is no joke this game has got to be the best game in all of pokemon history. This game lets you capture the hardest pokemon ,Suicine, and even the time travelling pokemon ,Celibi. Mew is still not going to be on this game even though there are rumors saying Mew will be on this game. Take it from me this game is off the hook!!!!!

For god's sake it isn't that bad! Pokemon actually move and you can finally be a girl playing for once. It is sort of like a yellow version to gold and silver I suppose. It is the most wonderful game ever! Better than Gold&Silver&Yellow&Red&Blue (just check out the Ice Path!)

Pokemon Crystal is a great addition of the Pokemon family, along with being an improvement of Gold and Silver.

Though Crystal can be viewed as a similiar game as Yellow (Yellow is very much similiar to Red & Blue, Crystal shares similiarites to Gold & Silver), it has much more features.

The Pokemon pictures are now animated, making it more interesting to battle. Also, it's heard that Celebi can be caught in the game, the mysterious 251st Pokemon. Like Yellow, some of the Pokemon are found in different areas than in Gold and Silver. Suicune now plays a major role in the game, and can be found throughout the game (it runs away if you get too close, though). Another edition which will be sure to make female players happy (including myself!) is that you can now choose from a male or female character. The buildings are also said to be an improvement.

There you have it; Crystal looks like a great game, and a must-have for any Pokemon fan! Let's hope Nintendo keeps up the great work!

Pokemon Crstal for Game Boy color has many differences from Gold and Silver. For one, you can be female or male. Also, the locations of most Pokemon have changed. Another one is, if you register another trainers phone number, they may call, then when you visit them, they might offer you a certain stone type. Each Pokemon you meet, and use in battle, will have some sort of animation along with it. Some area's show more color and detail then in Gold & Silver. And, on your first visit to the Day Care, they will give you an "Odd Egg". Walk around and see what it'll hatch too! Different Pokemon are also available at the Goldenrod and Celadon Game Corners. The Goldenrod Department Store also has a new rooftop marketplace, that keeps sporadic hours. Some sequences like when you use the squirtbottle on Sudowoodo has been altered. Trainers will also offer different Pokemon in Trades. New radio personality, Buena, hosts a show that can give you a chance to collect items - but you'll have to drop by the (Goldenrod) Radio Tower nightly. Other characters, like the Poke Seer, tell you when and where you got a Pokemon in Crystal Version, along with how happy a Pokemon is. Along with the Move Tutor, who appears outside the Game Corner in Goldenrod City, after you squared off against Red in Mt. Silver. The Move Tutor can teach very wonderful attacks, but can have them priced like crazy!

Personally, I'm only up to Olivine, but do I care? NO!!! The game is incredibly fun to play. With Buena's Password, you can get free items including ULTRA BALLS, that helped me a lot with Sudowoodo. I have also gotten several evo-stones off trainers that I beat, and some also tell you when and where there are rare Pokémon like Route 34ish's Hiker Anthony helped me with Dunsparce. (He didn't say a word about Teddiursa though. :-P) And I can FINALLY play as a girl. (PRIMA!! at your service, :-P)
However, there are a few annoyances: Every Sunday I can see Suicine in that little nook near the Poké Seer's house. I walk up to him, he dashes off to Route 42 and hides near the Apricorn trees, I walk up to him, he dashes off to Route 36 and voila! there he is next to the Ice Berry tree! So I walk up to him, he disappears again, going back to Cianwood City! Highly annoying, when can I actually BATTLE him or something? Also, though the Day Care can help with levelling up, it does so very slowly, and sometimes they delete moves that you still wanted, like I left my Growlithe there so that I could battle Jasmine when I got it back, but lo and behold when I get it back the one move that I absolutely needed, EMBER, was gone! I had to go catch a new Growlithe since I didn't know where to get the TM! And then after I get my Fog Badge I go to Tin Tower so I can go look at it, and surprise surprise they say I can't go in because I freed the Legendary Dogs!

Sure, this game has it's annoyances like every other game, but you get past them eventually. This game is incredibly fun to play, but I can't really judge it against the other versions as my Gold and Silver games are stuffed up because of international differences. (Philipino games + Kiwi GameBoy Colour = severe frustration at lack of savability) When you get it, you won't be disappointed. PRIMA!!, at your service! :-) ....

Having played Red, Blue, Yellow, and Silver, I expected this game to be more of the same. However, I find myself enjoying this version much more than the others combined. Being a female myself, I loved the opportunity to play as a girl trainer. And I absolutely love the cute animation at the start of each battle because each enemy Pokemon does something different. The graphics are much clearer and more enjoyable to look at than in previous versions. As a Pokemaniac myself, I would definitely recommend this game to any fan of those adorable creatures. And non-fans will enjoy it too because it is an evenly paced game that, while not too complicated, still requires a bit of thought. Pokemon Crystal rocks!
