If you liked the title in the past, this one is a no-brainer. Steering wheel and motion sensors add a great new twist, and the newly designed/redesigned tracks are fun, challenging (difficulty is scalable enough that my four year old picked it up with relative ease), and full of what has made this such a hit over the years. Playing friends/strangers over the internet is a blast. Thumbs way up!

There is a lot of variety with this game that I was not expecting. Playing live worldwide in a multitude of different races is so fun. There are at least 4 different ways to use assorted controllers (or maybe more!) giving each individual the opportunity to use the best outfitted for their habits or being able to try something new and add a new dimension of skill. Controls are very accurate and the whole game has every variety of uniqueness out there. I love seeing all of our created Mii's in the stands at the races or on billboards.

I love this game. It's so fun to play. It's fast and the wheel is the best part. The only problem I have is in order to get all the cool levels and characters and bikes and other options (like playing as your Mii) you have to do all kinds of different challenges to unlock them. I am not someone who has time or is good enough at the game to unlock these things so it's frustrating that I just can't play them. And sometimes when I do what it says to unlock something, nothing happens. So that is annoying.

This game has been a lot of fun for the whole family - our youngest is 7rs old. It splits the screen up to 4 players to each see their own vehicle in the race. There are prize boxes along the race routes and they give you a variety of prizes like a burst of speed, make you invulnerable, or things to use against competitors.
Good variety of race courses, fun choice of characters and vehicles. I would recommend to everyone!

It is more challenging than the previous versions which I like. The steeringwheel is harder than just using the wiimote and nunchuck but it can still be fun. You are punished more than the previous games for going in the grass or dirt. The tricks are way fun and satisfying.

What a Fantastic way to spend with your Grandchildren. Truly enjoyed Mario Kart. Made a purchase of 3 additional steering wheels so my 2 grandchildren and my daughter could join in the fun. WE HAD A BALL. There is NO GENERATION GAP and if there was MARIO CLOSED IT. Making this purchase was the best idea I've had in a while. I definitely recommend this product. GET WITH IT GRAND-PARENTS - make that move right now.

At first I wasn't impressed with the game. But I think it was because I had only played a retro level. They did an excellent job with the new levels. I wish they would have done more levels with fancy lighting because they really stand out.
I hate the wheel though. It makes my wrists hurt for some reason. The Gamecube controller is the way to go.

This games is lots of fun. We as a family love to play it. We love the different race courses and the new baby characters. I would really recommend this game to all. I enjoy playing it by myself or with friends and family... Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel

There is no better game on the planet than Mario Kart for the Wii. I've had it for 3 weeks and cannot/will not stop playing. It is seriously the most fun one can have in this day and age. I mean seriously, you can play alone or online against your friends all over the world. Brilliant!
I feel the need to play this game allllllll DAAAAAAAY every day!

and it is too bad that I can't! This is the best wii game I've played by far; I'm a little biased because I've been a fan of the mario kart games since the super nintendo. This game takes skill, and the online interface let's you really see if you put out enough effort to measure up with the addicted mario kart freaks across the globe. If you haven't, the time trials provide a peaceful way to work on your technique without all the added randomness of the grand prix. I use the wheel only when playing with friends; that along with the beginner friendly manual mode really helps to even out the skill level. Otherwise, I'm out for blood and I use the nunchuck and wii-mote because it gives me more control. Beware, this game is highly addictive and can ruin your life. I'm comfortable with knowing that I will not be King of the Kart, and that is a good start to a balanced life.
