I love the fact that this awasome game is now online. I've alway been good at the game but wow was I supprised to see how many great female racers there are out there!!! Kutos to all of ya. But this game surpasses all my expectations and Nintendo has delivered a great game as promised.

This game is really awesome. It's very easy to control the kart especially with steering wheel. This is a great party game with friends and family. The game features has been upgraded since the original Mario Kart.

The new Mariokart is outstanding, though not perfect. Anyone who is a long time fan of the game should definitely get it. Breakdown of pros and cons from the point of view of a mariokart veteran:
PROS:
-Nintendo definitely addressed my primary concern: the wii remote/steering wheel. This may be a neat way to drive for new kartists and adventuresome veterans, but I'm an old dog and that is a new trick. Luckily you can drive using a game cube controller, or a wii remote w/ nunchuck set-up that mimics the old controller style.
-The new courses are, for the most part, outstanding, and very fun.
-The addition of motor bikes is great, they are a lot of fun.
-The addition of tricks is also a lot of fun, and you get turbo boosts after executing them, which is great.
-The addition of zip-arrows at the tops of some of the more curvy sides of some courses lets you perform half-pipe style maneuvers, which is a fun new element
-Though I am not online with my wii yet, you can race against friends online, which I am very much looking forward to.
-The inclusion of 4 separate circuits of tracks from previous mariokarts is outstanding, though also disappointing given some of the courses they chose, and some of the ones they left out. (Probably impossible to please everyone on that one though.)
CONS:
-Bikes are fun, but they play way better than the karts, so there is no reason to use karts.
-Control style is dumbed down- even in "manual" mode it is easy to drift for turbo boosts, and you cannot achieve them faster by toggling the control stick back and forth while drifting as in previous versions. This makes it easier for new players, but skilled veterans may be annoyed at not being able to break out all of their time-honed talents.
-In vs mode, only player one can control the selection of courses, a little annoyance, but an annoyance nonetheless.
-No new ghost track? Really? (unless there are bonus tracks that can be unlocked- unlikely, as I've just about finished beating everything.)
Bottom line, still an awesome mariokart, and much better than double dash (gamecube version), but still not quite as good as the ageless N64 version.

man wow what a new car disins and characters. while steering u feel like your realy driving a car the bikes are so nice graphics are good controls are pretty much easy and sound is loud(well not so loud but it is loud!) man i wish if u can ride 2 in a 1 car but i now i dont baby!being alone in the car without 2 people like the 1 one the game cube the style of cars are AMAZING u now wat i mean by amazing?i mean amazing and im giving u an idvice bye it with super smash brothers these 2 will be your ultimate games from hell never not argue with your mum or dad if they say:no why do u want this game its a waste of time your gona be learning how to drive a car when ur 16 or something like that!dont listen to them beg them pay them money kill them just do anything to bye the game this game is best for children from 6-16 10 years of fun like hell well bye the game!sory for my spelling damn i spelled sory wrong dang again kk IM SICK OF THIS SEEYA!

Well the game is just annoying, sure the online play is cool but that is it, its just some original mario cart levels recycled, and they picked some bad ones and ruined some good ones, you spend more time falling off the edge or fighting the maps than actually racing people. And there are too many mass weapons that hit everyone it get fusterating, and the wheel is pointless, a regular controler or nunchuck is so much better. fun for about 5 minutes. Not worth 50 dollars, 20 at most.

Nice upgrade to the Mario Cart for Gamecube. You can use the steering wheel, classic controller or Nunchuck to play and you can mix and match the combinations. 1 Person using wheel, 1 classic controller, 2 nunchuck etc...Good time for all.

I bought this game to lure some friends to come play Wii with me. Being that we are all in our late 20's, it can be a bit of a challenge depending on your friend base. Well, it worked! I have been having SO much fun with this game and other people. Online play is also a ton of fun as you can have a great time with friends across the country. I also play with my DH a lot, and we have a blast! My only complaint is that we opened all the 32 levels pretty quickly, and I wish there were more levels! However, the unlockable characters and vehicles make this game remain fun, and with friends over its always a winning kick back time. Give it a try, you'll love it and so will almost anyone else you know.

Mario Cart is one of the true classic games of all time beginning with the Super NES and Continued with the Game Cube. Just when you think they could not make the game any better Mario Cart for the Wii is just that. Better. What a fun game play, the steering wheel makes it feel like you are really in the driver's seat. Instead of turning the old game controller in you're as if it were a wheel now you actually have something to hold onto.

Of coarse all of the cast and characters are back along with some of the old race tracks from previous versions. And the new race tracks are fun and challenging. I love racing through the shopping mall. I love giving the wheel a shake while flying over a jump to do a mid-air trick. This game has it all for any age. Fun, fun, fun!

Honestly, I think it's safe to say that this is the best Mario Kart in the series to date. It brings back all the old school tracks, but the experience is totally different with the Wii Wheel!!! Plus there are so many possibilities with all the new playable characters and tracks. The online play is AMAZING!!!! It's super fast and super fun. I definitely recommend this to everyone. If you own a Wii then you must own this game!!

Very FUN excellent online playing and wont get boring after very long time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

VERY VERY VERY VERY FUN!!! AND YOU CAN EASILY PLAY ONLINE AGAINST OTHER PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD WITHOUT HAVING TO WAIT VERY LONG FOR PEOPLE TO JOIN UNLIKE "SUPER SMASH BROS.:BRAWL" WHERE IT CAN TAKE A WHILE!!!I LOVE HOW U STEER THE KARTS AND NEW MOTOR CYCLES!!!I RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYBODY!!!!!!!!!!
