OK well the game is great but they dont have any of the good players like Aggasi and Sampras and a few others. I would also like to play a grand slam turnment instead of one match every grand slam and what about three out of five sets you only get 1! Well that is all and i hope it helps you. all and all it is a good game but when you buy it buy a different game too so you dont have just one game which you dont like...

This game is unbelievable and is so cool I played it at my friends house for 6 hours straight! It is truly ths only game I have nt gotton bored of. Buy this game and you'll be beyond happy of what you got for your money - garantted!

If you like tennis, tennis games, or even if you don't like tennis. You should buy Virtua tennis. To tell you the truth Im not that big of a tennis fan. But virtua tennis hooked me the first time I played it at a friends house.

Graphics:10/10 Spectacular, the graphics are incredible and run at a liquid smooth 60 frames per second

Sound: 8/10

The sound of the racket hitting the ball is excellent and the feet skidding on the course is awesome. However the music, even though it flows with the game is sometime distracting and is better turned off. Also the crowd sometimes sounds computerised.

Gameplay and control 10/10

The control is perfect. It is very easy to learn but learniong to use it well will take time. There is one button for regular shots and one for lobs. However, standing in the right position when hitting shots and knowing when and where to hit them is something that will take practice. This game is one of the best games I have ever played and it wil most likely be one the best games you will play also.

When I got this game, it ran the top spot of my DC playing time. The world circuit mode is full of fun training exercises(trust me) such as serve-bowling and smashing balls or boxes. You also can compete in 1 on 1 and Team matches in this mode to earn points to buy new players, stadiums or outfits. The best mode by far is the arcade mode which consists of 8 championship matches leading up to the grand finale. This game has the ultimate replay value, and is fun with 2 or 4 players. It will keep you either entertained by the addictive gameplay or mezmerized by the fluid graphics. This is the best tennis game ever. I'm really 14.

i initially bought virtua tennis because of the smooth graphics and easy to learn game play. i loved this game the first day i had it, but after then it got a little boring. it's definitely a lot more interesting if you play other people rather than the computer, for it's easy to learn how to beat even the hardest level (just trade groundstrokes and eventually move up to the net for the smash).

the world circuit mode was interesting, but it wasn't too hard after beating it the first time. it may offer some replay value.

this is a great game to rent and just play around with, but then you may end up a little bored over time.

This is the best tennis game ever. The graphics are amazing and the game has so much to do. If you hand didn't get tired from banging the ball back an forth you'd never be able to quit this game. It's fun for parties, it's fun for small get togthers, it's even fun if you're all alone. If you are into Tennis get this game, even if you hate tennis this game will make you like it. You will play this game until you're hand losses oxygen. This is a must have to add to the sega sports collection, which is the best thing on the DC. Go Sega Sports!!!

When watching for Virtua Tennis for the first time its amazing. This is one of the most addictive games out there. VT may not have big name players, but who cares anyways? The controls are simple yet the game can be every hard. Anyone can pick this up and start playing. Multiplayer is one the best parts, its hours of fun. This is a great addition to anyone's dreamcast library!

This game is the best tennis game that I have ever played. There are several faults that I found with it. The actual playing of the game is very easy. It is not difficult at all to make shots. Because of this, the only real way to win points is by strategy. This is nice, to a point. I would like the shots harder to make.

Also, there are none of the great players on the tour. It would be very cool to be your favorite tennis star, but that is unlikely because the players they do have are good, but are not great.

There is also no way to play of best 2 of 3 sets match with someone. You can only play 1 set or less.

Great game, just be prepared to work on your tennis strategy.

i was very doubtful when i picked up this game at the thrift store for 3$ mainly becouse im not into tennis.

but boy was i mistaken!!!! this game is great the graphics are excellent and the controls are amazinng, usually i found other tennis games to be hard to control but not this game.
you can unlock different players and partners (for when you play doubles) and other cool stuff; by earning money in tournaments in carrer mode.
there are also tons of great fun minigames that you can play to help you play better (for example bowling with a racket!!)

This is a must have for any DC collector or for any one who just wants some awesome tennis fun!!!!!!!

ps. i think that there are some expansions for the xbox.. not sure though
