Best game I have ever played hands down...So good I beat it once and simply started over and played it again and it was even more enjoyable the second time through as I understood the nuiances of the story. Great Game, must buy for PS3 owners.

This game has it all: great graphics, great gameplay, great cut scenes, great voice acting, great score. You simply cannot go wrong with Uncharted. It's so much like an Indiana Jones movie. From the moment I popped it in my PS3 I was hooked. I played it for about 9 or 10 hours straight! It's that good!

If I had to really pick at it, I would say that the game was a tad bit short--still longer than Call of Duty 4, which btw, also deserves a 5-star rating. The DTS surround sound didn't work on my system. There was no sound so I had to disable some surround features of my sound system to hear the cut-scene dialog.

'Nuff picking. This game has some the best graphics, lighting and shadow work I have seen thus far. The environments look very realistic because of this. The gameplay is non-repetitive enough to keep things interesting, albeit linear. It got more challenging as I played along (I recommend playing it at easy for the casual gamer).

One feature that really I liked was the full-screen uncluttered view, without any "status" indicators like with most other games. Game controls were intuitive and simple enough to move around, with on-screen help available only when necessary. Weapon cross-hairs and ammo levels only appeared when shooting and disappeared shortly after the action ended.

Playing Uncharted has been some of the most fun I have had and made me glad I own a PS3. It deserves nothing less than 5-stars.

Naughty Dog Does It Again!

Well first off, Naughty Dog has always had a good track record for trilogies (Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter), so from the start I had high hopes. The only thing I was weary of is that I am a big fan of the Jak and Daxter series and would like to see a fourth one. I thought that this may get in the way of me fully appreciating Uncharted. Of course though, after getting my hands on the game, it did not. Whether the story had it's cliche moments or not, did not take away from the excitement, adventure, and overall quality/gameplay of the game. It may be a little short (8 hours), but at the same time, it was perfect because every second of the game was interesting and did not drag on at any point, like many titles in this genre do. As far as graphics, what can I say that hasn't been said, everything is fluid, scenic, and beautiful. The combat system was right on point, and the only thing I hope for in the second one (if there is going to be one) is for more challenging platforming. Games are expensive these days, and this is definitely one worth shelling out the cash for.

If you have a good sound system and an HDTV be prepared for an amazing experience. Amazing 720p graphics and it features a Dolby 5.1 and DTS 5.1 tracks. This game honestly has some of the best audio you'll ever hear in a video game. The voice work is top of the line and the music was composed by the guy who composed the cult hit "Firefly." And of course the gameplay is impressive. Gears of War plus Tomb Raider would be the easiest way of describing it but its so much more than that. Yes it runs on the short side and it has no multiplayer but it is such an amazing experience that this is a game any PS3 owner needs to have.

This is the most amazing game on the PS3 I have played to date. It is very fun, action packed, has beautiful graphics (the best I have seen on any console to date), and a wonderful storyline. You will find yourself wanting to beat the game just to find out the end to the story. If you own a PS3 this game is a must get..no joke. It is one of the best the PS3 to offer (one of the many to come very soon ;-))!!! Five stars all around!!

I'll keep this short. If you love action games then this one should be on your shelf at home. The story is simple but entertaining to the very end. The characters grow on you and you really care about them by the end. The gameplay is not revolutionary but that doens't mean it is not satisfying. Basically, the game has a cover system that feels realistic thanks to the motion capture done by ND. Speaking of real, this game looks so live-like/real even though it has a cartoon-like feel to the colors. The animation and facial expression, however, are just astounding! So great story+great gameplay+gorgeous graphics=great. Add to this unlockable, an award system (getting n number of kills, combos, etc), and difficulty levels, you'll be playing this one more than once. And for the record, this game doesn't not need multiplayer! I personally think this game's multiplayer would've been dull or broken.

There are no cons about this game, it's simply gorgeous! Graphics are fantastic, you won't believe your eyes you're playing a game!!!!
If you want to get most out of your PS3 potential this game is a must have, PERIOD!

buy it... now! don't wait. unless you aren't hi-def yet.

you will buy this game now because it is a slice of things to come from the gaming gods. the demo does not do it justice. i am so glad i bought this title!
