rachet and clank going commando created and developed by insomniac games. might be the very best game of the year. its got game of the year status written all over it. and one of the rare games that can break out of the massive shells of this platform genre. going commando is way better than the first its much more entertaining. a solid title that fixes just about everything the first one did wrong. lets start off with the massive vareity of weapons and gagets. they may not seem that big at the first and the portals might look the somewhat the same in the beggining. but get trough about 10 levels in this game and you will be calling it one of your all time favirotes. theres more weapons wild additions easeir control handiling and with the help of dolby surround sound a finely tuned soundtrack. the games weapons are awesome theres big guns like the blitz gun the heavy lancer lots of great stuff bomb gloves the lava gun all are rougher than in the original. there even vendors for armor suits all weapons and gagets can be upgraded. and as you blast enemies your health improves. the weapons are expensive but if you own a weapon over 60000 bolts you will have some wild fun. excellent graphics looking much more polished than the first. excellent graphics the amount of detail in the animations is superb. the bad guys are tougher. and there are many special additions like flying trough opstacles playing minigames and puzzles flight rounds ship battles enormus bosses and hoverbike races. the game is made much better by the expansive amount of minibosses and excellent challenges. and the rpg elements are off the hook. this game features cut scenes which are really fun to watch. and the inside portal atmosphere is pleasing. the game has a perfect flow of enough light hearted cartoony elements to make kids happy. combined with enough explosive off the hook challenges and devastating weapons to make big time gamers pleased. if you own the first rachet and clank. the bottom line is going commando must be added to your collection. it might seem not excellent at first but everything especially the challenges get higher as you progress trough the worlds. excellent game with about 24 hours of total gameplay. but youll enjoy it enough to play it again and again.

This game is awesome the amount of optional stuff in it is amazing. The fun little things you can do but don't have to really make the game work. The characters are hilarious and multidimensional. It's a great game.

ratchet and clank are here again.this time they have to find a thief who stolen an experiment,the thief knows two of them are on his tail,so he hires a gang call thug 4 less to kill ratchet and clank.this game 22 levels,i think.you have a lot of weapons,and gagdets too.i think they're making a part 3 this year.

Having played the first R & C, I dashed out to get the follow up.
This a good game, and a little harder than the first, if you enjoyed the first game this is a must buy.
There are lots of shoot em up's on the market now but the cartoony feel to this adds to the enjoyment of the game.

get this and jak ii

rachet and clank going commando is awesome. its even better than jak 2 if you can beleive that it really is though. this extremely playable highly polished joy ride of a game is decked out with it all. first of all yes there are 50 weapons and gagets combined in the game everything can be upgraded. the minirocket tube lava gun and mininuke were all awesome. and then theres those power weapons like the ryno 2 and the zodiac. all the weapons are priced ridicolusly high so collect a lot of those bolts. the health elements are also quite cool. rachet gets stronger and he gains expereince after he battles the villans. go back to lots of the portals and gain expereince so rachet will get stronger and the game will be easeir. also rachet can now buy armor. armor suits with protection for rachet will be avilabale troughout the game. plus this game is packed with many various activiys. including hoverbike races battle arena challenges minigames puzzles EVERYTHING . the graphics music and gameplay are all outstanding. the best place to show off the music and graphics in my opion would be planet barlow. the best place to show off the gameplay would have to be planet damosel as that level has a grinding skate combo. and a gigantic clank battle section. this game has dare i say the best graphics on ps2. the graphics are highly polished always solid perfectly animated brilliant. theres no pop up there are apseouloutely 0 graphical mistakes. the graphics are simply a charm to look at a true testament to the ps2 hardware. and unlikre most games that offer solid action and crappy graphics. or some games that have beautifal graphics but lack gameplay. you see going commando isnt like that. theres a whole lot of game and the graphics dont suffer one bit as a result of that. a slick polished gift to the playstation 2 i highly recomend this game.

Ratchet and Clank; Going Commando is the BEST game EVER. From the flying lab in Aranos to the PROTOPET factory in Yeedil.
Ratchet must get back the PROTOPET from the Thief who actually is trying to stop MEGACORP'S PLAN. Old characters are included like the Plumber,the Fitness Trainer, Steve McQuark and the Black Market Salesman who sold Ratchet the R.Y.N.O. New and old weapons and gadgets too like the R.Y.N.O. II, the Swingshot, the Tesla Claw, and the Zodiac. You can upgrade your weapons as well.
Enjoy the GAME.

Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando is a great game. for the PS2 the graphics are simply breathtaking. not only do they help the gameplay but they are nice to look at. Cut scenes are beutiful but a great thing is the cut scene graphics dont change at all when it switches to gameplay!
It's music is nothing to brag about but you wont bust your system because it sucks so bad. Weapon sounds are good, same with sound effects.
This game no matter its faults is the one of the best games i have ever played, i never thought of this game as a sequal.
The story is a video game story its no final fantasy but itll get you through the game without making u feel like all you did was blast the living hell out of people
This game has sooo much variation from shoot outs to races and even space fights. There are so many weapons and gadgets in this game not only will you try and get them all you will try and upgrade them all. Each gun has its own experiance system, when you use that gun enough in upgrades by either getting more ammo being more powerful shooting more shots at once or just turning so cool you dont care about its performance. I thought i had almost beatin this game 5 times before i actually did its that long but it doesnt get old.

This game is great! I just got it and have had lots of fun playing it. There are great guns and it should be rated E because there's not much violence. Also, it never gets old, and I have played it over 70 hours. It would be a great purchase

rachet and clank going commando is great. so many platformers try to be good by introducing collectibles in the levels. well going commando has a more clever approach weapons. just to name a few theres the heavy lancer blitz cannon ryno 2 plasma coil hoverbomb gun the bouncer minirocket tube lava gun tesla claw unlimited roundup of upgradable weapons. there all really a blast to use.

read and understand the greatness of going commando.

going commando is great. the vareity and power of the weapons is outstanding. im just wondering why all the best weapons are being left out of reveiws. yes the chopper bomb glove and sheepinator are all cool. but the really good powerful weapons. are ones like the ryno 2 the zodiac and the best of the best the megarocket cannon which is better than ryno 2. seeing and hearing the impact of those monstorous guns is simply overwhelming. youll come back to the gladiator arena and battle the bosses for like 6 seconds. thats how powerful the zodiac is im not kidding. all the weapons in this game are huge and unbelivably fun to use unlike the first game. youll have to pay tons of bolts for all of them but they are really worth it. and the coolest part is that weapons can be upgraded even your trusty wrench can be upgraded. the bad guys are harder there not i knockdown guys there difficult as hell. the game is good long and much harder than the first. but not so hard youll find yourself throwing the control down in anger. the game is consestintly fun and never repetitive. the gigantic clank megagames were nice new additions. the planets are about ten times bigger and each portal is packed with minigames. often reffered to as megagames as each one will allow you to compete for a generous amount of bolts. theres so much to do= and see and have fun with. that it simply would be an unfair travesty for you to miss out on rachet and clank going commando.
